The company all gathered around pushing Amanda and Bilbo to the back. Amanda was really getting tired of being treated like she could not take cure of herself. But she pushed Bilbo behind her slightly because she knew he could not fight. Just then Radagast came bursting out from behind the trees.

" Theives! Fire! Murder!" He yelled as his cart came to a stop as everyone somewhat relaxed.

" Radagast! Pits Radagast the brown." Gandalf smiled gentle with a sigh. Amanda relaxed and sheathed her sword and looked to Kili. It was then she realised just how handsome he was. How when he looked at her, he could do nothing but smile. She turned around already knowing all of the conversation Gandalf was about to have and began to climb up a small steep hill. Kili smirked and followed after her. When she reached the top she looked over beyond the trees and saw the vast open lands that lay ahead. It was indeed a stunning view.

" Beautiful." Amanda smiled softly as Kili walked up behind her.

" Indeed." He muttered lowly walking to her right side and looking out as well. Amanda pointed in a direction that had a large cliff face.

" Rivendell is that way." Amanda smiled softly as Kili sighed heavily.

" Why do you hate the elves so much? They are kind." Amanda asked him.

" I don't mind them. But I do not particularly like them. It's my uncle who hates them." Kili said with a frown on his face. Amanda nodded softly and looked to the ground.

" That uncle of yours is a hard head." Amanda told him with a chuckle.

" Oh I know believe me." Kili chuckled in return. A gust of wind whipped past them causing Amanda's hair to fly all over. She reached up to hold it back out of her face.

" Can you not braid your hair? It would be a lot easier?" Kili said as he watched her fix it again.

" I can, just not on my own hair." Amanda muttered with a slight blush on her cheek. Kili chuckled at her embarrassment and looked to the ground then back at her as she looked to him.

" Next we make camp, I will do it for you." He said with a smile. Amanda nodded gently in thanks as they heard their names being call down.

" You first." Kili said as they walked to the edge of the steep hill. They slipped down the hill easily and stood by everyone, Gloin was striking his fire making stones together in boredom. Amanda smirked as a thought came to her head. It may or may not work, but it was worth a try. When he hit the next spark, Amanda flicked her hand and the spark exploded in a small blast scaring Gloin.

" did you jus- did you just see that? What? How..... Amanda..." Gloin grumbled looking to her as she smiled innocently to him. He glared causing Kili to send him a glare back as Amanda walked by the back of him towards Bilbo who was pacing for some reason. But before she could make it next to him a howl was heard echoing through the air. Everyone stopped and looked around them with fear.

"Was that a wolf? Are there--are there wolves out there?" Bilbo asked with fear as he raised his sword. Amanda stepped over to him only to be stopped by Kili's hand pulling her behind him.

Wolves? No, that is not a wolf." Bofur said as a Warg from the steep hill Amanda and Kili had just climb down from. It landed in the middle of the company pushing Kili and Amanda over onto their backs. Thorin quickly kills it with his elvish blade. But another appeared from behind him. Amanda pulled an arrow at the same time as Kili and they both released them, hitting their targets. Dwalin jumped up and finished off the warg before it could go anywhere.

"Warg-Scouts! Which means an Orc pack is not far behind." Thorin yelled to them as he rushed around checking everyone was alright.

"Orc pack?" Bilbo asked worry coating his voice. Amanda pushed Kili off her and walked over to him.

"Who did you tell about your quest, beyond your kin?" Gandalf asked marching right up to Thorin.

"No one." He answered back quickly.

"Who did you tell?" Gandalf asked him louder with more urgency in his words.

"No one, I swear. What in Durin's name is going on?" Thorin asked Gandalf only to be answered by Amanda.

"We are being hunted." She said as she pushed Bilbo behind her gently.

"We have to get out of here." Dwalin called out as everyone scanned around to make sure no more wargs surprised them.

"We can't! We have no ponies; they bolted." Orc called out to them as Amanda sighed.

"I'll draw them off." Radagast said grabbing the attention of the others.

"These are Gundabad Wargs; they will outrun you." Gandalf said as Kili walked over to Amanda and grabbed her hand giving her a reassuring squeeze.

"These are Rhosgobel Rabbits; I'd like to see them try." And with his answer, Radagast was off drawing the attention of the orc pack from the company. They all run after the pack has been distracted and out into the open fields which Amanda and Kili had looked upon. They hid behind a rock as Gandalf waited for Radagast to appear running with the wargs behind him.

"Come on!" Gandalf calls as he ushered them all out. They run across the open rocky fields as they avoid being seen by the orcs. Kili pushes Amanda in front of him as he looked back at Fili. Gandalf sees a smaller pack of orcs in front of them and stops everyone behind another rock.

"Stay together." Gandalf called once the coast was clear. Everyone followed the instructions and began to run again.

"Move!" Thorin yelled trying to hurry everyone along. Thorin pulls to a stop and everyone follows except Ori who rushed out from behind the rock.

"Ori, no! Come back!" Thorin called grabbing him and pulling him back behind cover. They wait until the orcs had past before Gandalf began to usher them again. Amanda sighed from all the running as Kili placed a hand on her shoulder pushing her forward.

"Come on! Quick!" Gandalf ordered them. Thorin turned to Gandalf as Amanda past him.

"Where are you leading us?" He growled lowly not sure if he should trust the wizard. Gandalf never answered but continued to run behind the company. Amanda noticed that one of the wargs pulled away from its group and smelt the air.

" oh no! It's picked up our scent!" Amanda called as everyone dived behind an overhanging rock. It was not long before the orc and warg walked over the top. Everyone stayed silent as they could, while Thorin looked to Amanda. She turned to Kili and looked at his bow as they both loaded them simultaneously. They looked to each other and gave a nod before they jumped out and Amanda shot at orc and Kili at the warg. They yelled as they fell down towards the ground, the warg fell on top of Amanda. She groaned as the wind was knocked from her. The warg moved around trying to stand. The dwarves rushed over and quickly killed them, but failing to do so without noise. Dwalin, Bofur and Thorin pushed the warg from Amanda as Kili pulled her along the ground.

" Everyone alright?" Thorin asked as they all nodded. Amanda also nodded as Kili helped her to her feet.

"The Dwarf-scum are over there! After them!" Amanda heard an orc yell I the black tongue. Warg howl as they change they prey and run after the company.

"Move. Run!" Gandalf yelled out. He never never had to tell them twice as they took off running away from the pack. But as they run, warg appear from all around them quickly.

"There they are!" Gloin called pointing to a new group that appeared.

" They are everywhere!" Amanda yelled out to Thorin as Kili was right by her side.

"This way! Quickly!" Gandalf's called leading them a way where there was no orcs. Amanda began to breath heavily as her ribs began to hurt more and more. They came to a clearing and had to slowpoke down as wargs were all around them. Amanda looked around her and had an idea. She looked to Gloin quickly and yelled to him.

" Gloin! Give me a spark!" She yelled as he started to fumbled in his pocket.

" Right!" He yelled as he struck his stones together causing a spark. Amanda pulled the spark causing a mass amount of fire to circle her.

"There's more coming!" Kili yelled out to Thorin.

"Kili! Shoot them!" Amanda yelled as Kili nodded and strung an arrow, firing it off quickly while Amanda threw some fire at it cursing it to burst into flames. They continued to do so as well as Amanda using the fire as a shield. Everyone backs up from the enclosing orcs around them.

"We're surrounded!" Fili yelled with fear as there was too many for them to fight.

"Where is Gandalf?" Kili asked loudly as he looked around.

"He has abandoned us!" Dwalin jumped to the conclusion as they per pared to fight. Ori shoots a rock from his sling shot at a warg but it only served to anger the beats more as it lunged for him. Amanda saw this and swirled fire around him to create a shield. Amanda stood in front of him protectively. She glared at the warg causing it to cower slightly in fear.

"Hold your ground!" Thorin encouraged his followers.

"This way, you fools!" Gandalf yelled behind them.

"Come on, move! Quickly, all of you! Go, go, go!" Thorin ordered them all as they rushed over to Gandalf and disappeared behind the large rock. Wargs made their advance but where stopped by Amanda's flames hitting them.

"Kili! Amanda! Run!" Thorin yelled to them as Amanda blocked another on coming attack. Kili pushed Amanda down the hole in the rocks first as he slipped down afterwards. They moved so Thorin could slid down as well. Kili held Amanda close to him by her waist with one arm. Amanda was breathing heavily not caring what other thought, as she leaned against Kili's chest closeting her eyes.

" Kili, I am tired." She whispered to him as Gandalf over heard her and looked to Kili.

" She has used to much energy. Not to mention the lack of sleep." He said reassuring Kili as they all waited for an attack from the orcs above. Then a horn blew from above ground and Amanda smiled knowing who it was.

"The elves." She muttered under her breath so only Kili heard. Just then an orc flew down the hole and landed next to them giving Amanda a fright. She jumped and buried herself into Kili more for protection as Kili pulled her closer to him. Thorin pulled the arrow out from the Orc and looked at it.

"Elves." He muttered and threw the arrow down in disgust. He looked forward and Dwalin ran ahead to look where the cave lead.

"I cannot see where the pathway leads. Do we follow it or no?" Dwalin called back to the company.

"Follow it, of course!" Bofur said as he followed Dwalin's lead. Kili looked to Amanda as she tried to steady her breathing.

" Can you walk?" He asked her quietly. Amanda shook her head to say no as she was too weak from fighting.

" very well." He said and put his sword away. He lifted her up bridal style easily and nodded to Fili who continued on ahead.
