◇[3rd Person View]◇

The five made their way to the dance, all dressed fabulously and smart.

Lucy managed to groom her hair in a long straight down and was clad in her black dress reaching her knees.

Gray held on to Natsu's hand, slightly nervous as he held a grin. The two were outwardly expressing their emotions - that they love each other.

They entered a giant hall of sorts. It was filled with people, suprisingly. It seemed very quiet the two days before.

The hall was filled with decorations. Streamers filled the perimeter of the hall in a wide 'w' pattern and the giant room was cooling with the air-conditioning on the walls. All sorts of food were placed on a wide table, utilities layed on the corner. A transparent cover preventing the food from cooling too easily.

"Woah, this dance has everything!" Natsu commented, hand still interlocked with Gray's.

"Yeah, I know right?" Gray replied, kissing Natsu on the cheek as he followed Natsu to the buffet counter.

"We'll take a few minutes, you gals go hook up with people." Gray spoke, as he was pulled by Natsu towards the food.

"Well, let's go!" Lucy smiled and the three scattered.

◇[Delightful Night already, eh?]◇

The night was a fun one.

The AVA crew in charge of the music were very clever with the music, as everyone danced to different songs to increase the hype.

The entire hall was filled with laughter and happiness. It was very entertaining.

This could be supported by the fact that Natsu stopped his eating halfway and dragged Gray to dance with him, something they both found amusing.

"Okay! Everyone get with a dance partner! We're now having a slow dance, you love birds!" An enthusiastic voice announced through the speakers.

A disco ball appeared from the ceiling, trapdoors sliding open. All the white, bright lights were turned off and replaced by dim purple strobe lights that pointed to the disco ball. The lights reflected off the surface and lit up the whole hall in beautiful purple light.

"Oh wow..." Natsu glanced around at the beautifully lit up room, and glanced at Gray, blushing at how romantic this scenery was.

Music started to play, calm and peaceful. The song danced around the room, enlightening everyone with its elegant and romantic notes. The sound of waves in the background, making the sway of the music much more calming. ◇[A/N : I put it up there/on the side]◇

"W-would you like to d-dance?" Gray asked, blushing as he held his hand out for Natsu to take and looking away.

Natsu held Gray's hand, slightly bluahing himself.

"Yes, I would."

Gray placed his hands around Natsu's waist, staring into his eyes and grinning like an idiot, while Natsu wrapped his arms around Gray's neck, smiling.

They danced to the beat, swaying left and right while they enjoyed the company of each other and the song.

"I love you, ice princess," Natsu spoke softly, still swaying to the beat woth Gray.

"Love ya too, flamebrain," Gray responded.

The two quietly laughed at the nicknames they had given to each other which had sounded completely foolish.

"Wow. Cute, aren't they?" Mirajane sat on the chairs that were placed at the sides, stacked up. She turns to her left and sees Lucy who had placed her hand on her cheek, staring at the two dragon Slayers and smiling.

"Yeah, they really belong with each other..." Lucy sighed.

The two then leaned in and kissed, as the girls chuckled at the dragon slayers' cheesiness.
