Epilogue

^^This is the lullaby. You'll know what I'm talking about later. ;)

*Five Years Later*

"Becca, what did I just say?"

"J. J! JAMES!"

"Roger, don't you dare-" I'm interrupted by a truck coming down the road and a chorus of dad! Sighing, I look at Victoria in relief. She sets down Sarah so she can run to her father and I help her pregnant-self out and down the steps. "So, after all this, you're going to have a third?" I emphasize and she laughs as we wait for our husbands to work through the sea of children. Her hands smooth over her growing stomach fondly before her brown and green eyes meet my blue ones.

"It's not like this was on purpose. Snipping super-soldiers isn't exactly something that had been done before, so I guess we just should've been more careful before...letting things go." We both giggle as the men finally start walking over with the kids, groceries in every available hand. "Keep that in mind for you two." She elbows me and I'm quick to open the door for the men.

"Took you long enough. Still in awe of the prices, grandpas?" I tease and they both roll their eyes. Bucky steps aside and gives me a quick kiss while Steve does the same to Victoria.

"Actually, we ran into someone on our way here. Should be along in a minute." Steve responds and ducks into the cabin just as Victoria and I hear the rumble of an engine.

"Oh Christ." Victoria mumbles and I grin. Figuring the boys and children can handle the groceries, I help Victoria down the stairs once again before turning to the young man dismounting his motorcycle. "This is all Steve's fault you know. And Bucky's. Riding their damned bikes around."

"First, I can hear you Victory." Grant grins and pecks her cheek. "Second, you love this thing and don't pretend you don't. Third, where on earth are my favorite nieces and nephews?" Grant asks and secures his brown leather jacket on his shoulders before mussing his wild golden-brown curls.

"And what about your favorite aunt, asshole?" I snap and he turns that charming smile to me while struggling to hug Victoria. God, I let him spend too much time with Bucky.

"Sorry, Li-li. Would a hug make up for it?" He wraps me in his arms and I shake my head at just how big he's gotten. He's nearly the size of Bucky and Steve now.

"I'll accept it. Besides, the more hands to watch the munchkins here, the better. Everyone is running late today." I sigh and release him. Vi runs a hand over his back and gestures to the cabin.

"You mind entertaining the kids for a while?" She asks and I swear, pregnancy has made her puppy eyes even more convincing. Grant instantly shifts to a fully-grown lion and roars. Immediately, the kids are sprinting out at full speed to tackle him. For Rebecca this is cheating since she is unfairly faster than the rest. So far, she's been the most surprising child of our little group. Bucky and I were surprised when one day she was crying, thank god this was when she became a toddler, and it started snowing. Inside the house. Luckily the snow calmed her down, but then Bucky and I were freaking out. In addition to being wicked fast, she controls atmospheric changes. The weather, basically. With her black curls, blue eyes, and a smirk more often than not on her pink lips, she's the spinning image of her father. With the sass to match, usually.

"Roger." I warn my youngest and he freezes in the middle of reaching out to pull his sister's hair. "Do we pull hair?" I ask and his hand lowers while his bottom lip juts out.

"No ma'am. Sorry." He apologizes and waits until I smile before simply tackling Becca instead. Now Roger is a mini-me. Dirty blonde waves plopped on the top of his head and darker blue eyes tell that he favors me. He can control light and that's pretty much an explanation for his entire personality. Although, his sister would probably say otherwise. Steve and Ria's oldest, James, reminds me so much of Grant. Light brown curls that are impossible to brush fall to his chin and their skin tone is the same. James does have Steve's eyes, but the rest is Victoria. His ability was a bit hard to decipher.

We figured when he was talking to animals it was how everyone talks to animals. Soon we learned they were talking back. Pretty sure he's a Disney prince. Or would be if Becca didn't convince him to cause trouble. Our heads turn when we hear crying and it turns out the kids left Sarah behind, Steve and Ria's youngest. Before Victoria can waddle over to her, James gets there first. I lock arms with Victoria as we watch the sweet sight. James laughs when Sarah lifts him up in the air then puts him back down. Hand in hand, they walk back to Grant who has now turned into a miniature horse. Of course. Sarah is probably the least worrying child. While tantrums are catastrophic with a child with super strength, I know Steve and Vi are happy there are no small animals running around that might be their child. We're pretty sure her hair color is blonde, but since she changes it every minute, no one really knows anymore. Thankfully, the rest of her stays the same and her warm brown eyes never fail to make me smile.

"Liya, are you trying to steal my wife?" Steve teases as he and Bucky slip out of the cabin.

"You steal my husband regularly, so I think it's a fair trade." I shoot back and he nods towards me before kneeling and kissing Vi's stomach. Bucky walks to me with a smile and wraps his arms around my waist, not minding that there's more to love nowadays. Our lips meet like old friends and we linger a little bit. We don't usually get time to just be us since the kids, so we take it where we can get it.

"Have I told you how much I like your outfit?" He whispers quietly and I smile against his lips.

"Oh this?" My fingers pinch the fabric of the baggy, navy, sweatshirt. "It's my husband's. The pants...well...in addition to being comfortable, yoga pants allow me to feel every inch of my man's hands when he touches my ass." He laughs into my mouth and pecks my lips before pulling away. Those unchanging blue eyes burn into mine and I can't help but smile.

"Love you." He murmurs.

"Yeah, you better." I tell him and he laughs again. We turn and look when another car pulls in.

"Finally." Victoria sighs and starts hurriedly waddling towards the black sedan. Steve chuckles and follows close behind while Bucky and I wonder over hand in hand. Tony gets out and immediately rushes to Victoria.

"Queen! How is the future superbaby?" He pecks her cheek before stooping to kiss her stomach.

"This one is surprisingly quiet." She answers with a sigh as we kiss each other's cheek and he shakes Bucky's hand. "How're yours?" We all look to the people rounding the car and grin when we see Pepper, May, and Peter Parker with little Morgan on his shoulders.

"Pretty good. Keeping the mischief to a minimum. Most of the time." Tony throws a little side eye at Peter who blushes slightly. "Where are my favorite group of demons?" He asks and cups his hands around his mouth. "THE FAVORITE UNCLE IS HERE!" We all clear a path from around the side of the house to Tony for the kids, including Grant now in human form, to run. Becca's there first, then Grant to steady Tony, then James, Roger, and Sarah. Peter even puts Morgan down to join the dog pile. Thank god we have Grant and Peter here or else we'd never be able to keep up with these kids. I pat Bucky's hand and those gorgeous eyes turn to me.

"How about we head in and you guys set the table. Pepper'll grill. She's the best at it." I kiss his cheek before heading to the group to explain the plan. After hugging and kissing everyone who's just arrived, we head in. Peter and Grant stay out with the kids though. Hopefully, they'll tire them out. Hours later, Natasha has finally shown up and we're having a fire in the back fire pit. Clint decided to skip the chaos our families usually cause and stayed home. We'll see him at the facility for Christmas though. Vision and Wanda are in Sokovia with their family, but that's usual. Right now, I'm just relieved the kids are tired enough to relax.

There's me, then going to the right from there, Bucky, Victoria, Steve, Natasha, Pepper, May, Peter, Tony, and Grant. A big, happy circle with everyone either in someone else's lap or leaning on the person next to them. My own personal firelight is keeping us warm and I pick it up every now and then when it weakens. Roger, the ceaseless energy ball that he is, is still wide awake and staring happily into the fire while leaning back on my shins. Every once and a while he'll send a shard of light off into the pine trees around us which delights Morgan in Peter's lap. Sometimes I'll have to do a double take with her and Becca because they look so alike with their black curls. Becca's sharing her dad's lap with me and Sarah is in her favorite aunt's lap while Natasha braids her fine hair. James is between Grant and Tony, listening closely to whatever they're talking about. Hopefully nothing bad.

"Hey, mama?" Becca calls and turns her head to transfix me with those blue eyes.

"Yeah, sweetie?" I ask and reach over to caress her cheek.

"Could I...could I maybe make some snow?" She asks and I grin.

"Only if you sit on mama's lap." I condition and she reaches up to kiss her dad's cheek before standing on his thighs for me to grab her. Roger hops up and jumps into Steve's lap so her little feet don't kick him in the face. Bucky happily tugs me closer in Becca's absence. "You start and I'll help out if you need it." I encourage with my hands around her waist. Her little hands raise up and the temperature drops quickly, gaining everybody's attention.

"Hey Stormy, what's with the weather change?" Grant teases and she giggles but doesn't lose her focus.

"Imma make it snow." She tells him determinedly and it quickly starts to without any assistance from me. A big grin lights up her little face as multiple people stick out their hands to feel the cold flakes drifting down to us.

"Good job, sweetheart." Bucky whispers and Becca instantly reaches out to take his hand.

"I wanna show off too!" Roger stands and our group laughs. Steve messes up his hair and nods.

"Show us what you got, buddy." He encourages after Bucky nods at him that it's okay. Becca releases the atmosphere and I peck her cheek thankfully. Nice of her to let her brother have the spotlight. Roger sticks out his tongue and holds his hands out, then turns his palms towards each other. Slowly, a little spark starts to light before turning into a ball of golden light. We all squint at my little boy as he throws the ball up and it stays there for a few moments, then he lets it fall into Becca's hands. She holds it up and out with a happy laugh before tossing it to Morgan.

"That's just...wow." May speaks and we all grin at her. She's the newest member of our group, so she's still a bit in awe of our crazy lives. Then again, aren't we all?

"Way to keep it up, Roger." I make sure to encourage him. He's been having trouble maintaining his orbs, so this is really impressive. He grins at me and the ball dissipates when he loses focus. Bucky pats his knee and Roger runs over to him so Bucky can pull him into his arms. He whispers something to him and Roger giggles.

"Mom?" We turn to James as he stands and fiddles with his hands. "Do you think I could...?" Victoria hesitates.

"No controlling. Like we've talked about." She says and Steve reaches over to run a hand up and down her back while James hurries off into the woods. "I hate it when he disappears like this. Makes me nervous." She murmurs.

"Queen, he's your kid. He'll be fine." Tony assures her. Our eyes are attracted to rustling in the woods and Roger shines a little light over into it. James comes out with a big grin on his face, then a buck exits the woods behind him.

"Nice. I can't even talk to spiders." Peter breathes and Tony chuckles before patting his back.

"I'm actually thankful for that." Natasha speaks as she puts Sarah down so Steve can steal her, but when her hair turns from bright red to short, brown, and curly, we pass her to Grant. James happily pats the deer in thanks and explains that they should be friends before they bow to each other, a weird thing that most animals seem to do with James, and leaves.

"James, I've been meaning to ask, why the bow?" I ask and release Becca so she can go give him a high five. He shrugs and climbs into Tony's lap so Becca can sit between Tony and Peter.

"They think I'm a king." He says nonchalantly and I see Tony press his lips tightly together to keep in a smartass comment. Victoria and Steve both look shocked as well. "Well a prince. They think mom's a queen cuz she can change when she wants." His chest puffs out proudly at the fact and Victoria turns even more surprised.

"Plot twist." Grant whispers and we both let out little laughs.

"Bud, you know we're no better than everyone else, right? Like we've talked about?" Steve asks and James looks a little offended.

"Yeah, daddy, I 'member. I've tried 'splaining it, but they won't listen." He shrugs again and leans back against Tony with a yawn. Tony is trying so very hard not to laugh, but Bucky next to me is silently cracking up. Pepper too.

"Hey, that means I'm a prince too. I can roll with that." Grant says and now everyone lets go. Laughter fills the yard until my stomach's sore. Vi and I's eyes scan the children before meeting each other's eyes.

"Time for bed kids." They're all too tired to even object. Victoria is about to get up, but Grant puts a hand on her shoulder to tell her he'll help Steve put them to bed. Me, Bucky, Grant, Steve, and Tony steal our kids away and head into the house. Bucky and I had no clue when we got this cabin that we'd need this many rooms, but Tony's handy and helped us add another floor for everyone else. Still, when the kids are here they like to share a room. Usually, we do siblings together, but somehow in the morning they're all piled over one another. Tonight, we let them choose. Rebecca, James, and Morgan are inseparable, so they take one bed while Roger and Sarah take the other. Bucky and I tuck in the young ones while Grant, Steve, and Tony tuck in the older group.

"Li-li?" Sarah calls in her tiny voice and I glance at a grinning Grant behind me. God, he just had to spread that nickname around. Him and Tony.

"Yes, sweetie?" I answer while Bucky makes sure she has her little black kitty stuffed animal tucked in her arms. Big brown eyes meet mine and I feel my heart melt a little.

"Can we stay here forever?" She asks cutely and Roger nods at me vigorously. Bucky laughs when I do and eases onto the bed next to the two.

"You'll have to go home eventually, but you, James, and your mom and dad come see us all the time. You know that." He boops her nose with his left hand and she giggles.

"Right. So why don't they just live here?" Roger asks and we smile.

"Maybe they will live closer soon, but that's up to Aunt Vi and Uncle Steve. For now, let's get some sleep." I lean down and kiss their heads and the groups switch after Bucky does the same. As soon as I'm done kissing them and get up to leave, a small hand grabs mine. I look back to find James shaking his head.

"You have to sing, Aunt Li." Morgan and Becca both nod. Laughing, I sit back down.

"Alright. Which one?" I ask both group of kids.

"The Russian one!" Morgan shouts and all the kids voice their approval as the adults move to stand in the doorway for a quick escape.

"Bayu Bayushki Bayu." Becca pronounces the Russian perfectly and I nod proudly.

"Okay. What has to happen if I'm going to sing?" I ask and everyone shuts their eyes as Bucky flicks off the light. Slowly, I start to sing the lullaby as my mother sang it to me. Midway through, everyone seems to be asleep. Still, I continue until the end and carefully slide off the bed to make my way to the door before the song ends. "Love you." I whisper quietly and shut the door. The adults let out a big sigh when no noise is heard and we all quietly tiptoe down the stairs. Turns out the rest of the group is already here.

"Fire went out and it got cold fast." Pepper explains and my shoulders sag.

"Sorry, I should've thought of that." Bucky wraps an arm around my waist and kisses my cheek before falling onto the couch and tugging me into his lap.

"Not your fault, doll. Pretty sure the kids getting to bed is more of a relief than still being outside." He assures me and I contentedly relax into him.

"Absolutely." Pepper raises her wine glass as Tony sits on the arm of the leather chair she's in.

"They go down okay?" Victoria asks Steve as he settles as close to her as possible without putting her in his lap.

"Like sleepy puppies." Grant jokes and falls on the love seat next to Peter, teasingly messing up his already messing hair. "Aunt May go to sleep?" He asks and Peter nods.

"I think we tire her out." Peter chuckles and we all hum our agreement.

"Us or the kids?" Natasha teases and the room laughs, then instantly quiets.

"Both for me. I'm turning in too." Victoria sighs and Steve helps her up. "Night, everybody." A chorus of the same sentiment follows her and Steve to their bedroom in the corner of the house.

"I think we're out too." Tony says and pokes a nearly dozing Pepper out of her stupor.

"Having kids really just sucks the energy out of you people, doesn't it?" Natasha teases and Bucky rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, for that you're in charge of morning babysitting." He says and she grins.

"Good. Those kids need to learn some kung fu." The parents groan while Grant and Peter chuckle.

"Nat, my kid causes enough trouble in my lab without knowing how to karate chop." Tony says as Pepper sets her wine glass down and stands. Natasha waves her hand at him.

"Fine. Cartwheels and handstands then." Tony groans again and we chuckle as Pepper drags him up the stairs.

"Who's in charge of breakfast tomorrow, Li?" Grant asks and I move around on Bucky's lap to face him.

"Are you volunteering?" I ask and his shoulders sag. Bucky laughs and pecks my cheek.

"I'll help out, G." Peter allows and Grant grins, tossing an arm affectionately around the gangly man's shoulders.

"Deal." Grant agrees and I revel in the thought that I might get to sleep in tomorrow. Bucky's lips at my ear distracts me from further thought.

"Ready to turn in?" He murmurs and my eyes shut at the nice feeling. I nod. "Alright, we're gone. Tasha's in charge, you two." Bucky sends them a warning look which both young men instantly brush off. Bucky lifts me up and carries me to the room next to Vi and Steve's. The minute the door closes we sigh in relief. "It's nice having everyone here." Bucky comments and puts me down so I can strip. I just take my yoga pants off and trade my sweater for a tank-top. Bucky's a heater.

"Why, free babysitting?" I tease and he chuckles while stripping as well.

"Well yes, but that isn't exactly what I meant." He says as we both slip into bed. "I like seeing the kids with each other and somehow, everyone gets along when they're here." I snort.

"Except when our daughter convinces James to free the horses in the farm down the mountain. I swear she has too much of you in her." I elbow him when he starts to laugh. "Not funny! It took two hours to get those horses back before the family got home!" I scold but can't resist smiling.

"Sure, because I'm the only bad influence in this family. I believe it was you that froze Steve's legs that one time?" I roll my eyes.

"He's faster than me! I never would have caught him and he had all the garlic bread!" I complain and Bucky chuckles. "And I was pregnant, that shouldn't count." I point out and he pulls me close.

"Anyways, I'm just saying I like it." Bucky ends and I smile.

"You're starting to sound like Sarah and Roger earlier." He hums in agreement.

"You know how much I'd like it if everyone lived closer. Next door, even." Bucky says and reaches over to turn off the little lamp, plunging the room into darkness. I press my forehead against the warm skin on his neck and kiss his collar bone.

"Mmm. Me too. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a small village up here with just us weird people." I whisper against his skin.

"Don't tell Stark that. He'd probably have it done in a couple weeks." Bucky jokes, but my eyes snap open.

"You think?" I question and feel his chest rumble with laughter.

"Tomorrow. I'll mention it. Now, let's get what sleep we can before an explosion, screaming, or morning gets to us." He sighs and my eyes shut again.

"Love you." I murmur and he kisses my head.

"Yeah. You better."

A/N; Crying. Had to add an epilogue for these people. Really hope you liked these stories, guys. I hope they made you smile. :)
