School has started and Freya tried to keep the incident that happened last week in the past.
   Freya and Nnadine enter the school together and stopped by their lockers as it was next to each other.
     Nnadine was having Food and Nutrition as her first class while Freya  was having chemistry as hers .The two girls parted ways and went to attend their classes.

At Nnadine's class:
"Good morning students as you all know that I am miss Evelyn ,I told u we are go going to practice how to bake a cake " Miss Evelyn said as all the students cheered .
    "Now everyone stay in your corner and the ingredients are already on ur table"

Ingredients for cake
500g butter
350g sugar
10 eggs
2tbsp baking powder
1 sachet of milk flavor
500g flour
Vanilla flavour
Nutmeg

An hour later....
Each student took a bite of their cake but Nnadine kept hers for Freya to taste .

At Freya's class:
"Good morning students! I shouldn't remind you of our chemistry practical today!!"Mr Chris said as all the science students including Freya were excited
   After wearing their lab coats and googles they saw a large volcano made out of paper machè on each of their desks .
  "Today is the day of the big volcano experiment"All the students groaned in disappointment.
They were expecting something better .
    Mr Chris filled the volcano with a box of ordinary baking soda.
  "Baking soda is also called Sodium bicarbonate" Mr Chris explained
    Mr Chris opened up a bottle of clear liquid "Now watch what's happens when I pour vinegar into the baking soda"he said .

The students watched as the tiny volcano started to rumble .Soon a large glob of foamy goop spurted out the top .The goop poured over the desk and dripped onto the floor creating a huge mess.

"Oops !I guess I used too much baking soda"Mr Chris said
Freya was stunned ."How did u do that sir?"she asked politely

"Well the vinegar acts as a liberating agent which releases the gaseous carbonate radical element of the sodium bicarbonate" He replied

"Wow"Freya said

"Now everyone after seeing what I just did what don't u make the same thing I did?"

Without further explanation everyone poured the baking soda and vinegar in the volcano and it exploded causing a huge mess in the lab.

Freya went to the restroom and removed the gloves and turned the tap on .as she touched the tap handle it froze including the water .she gasped and when she wore the gloves she was perfectly fine. She started wearing gloves to prevent any disaster from happening.

It was lunch and Freya saw Nnadine ,she had already kept lunch for her .Freya hugged Nnadine tightly.

"Lunch almost ran out so I picked something for u , plantain frittata and a tropical fruit juice with fried rice with chicken" Nnadine said as Freya thanked her.

"Thanks sis"Freya said
"Sis?"Nnadine asked
"Of course you're my sister apart from Cassie"Freya said as she saw a vanilla Cake at the middle of the table.

"We baked cake today , so I kept mine for the both of us"Nnadine smiled as Freya tasted it and it was delicious.

"You will make a fine cook"Freya said

"Not as good as you, there's no dish or dessert you cant make cause you're a fast learner"Nnadine explained

"That's cause I have been learning since I was 10 !"Freya tried to explain.

After sports Nnadine and Freya went home .
