Fontaine's pov:

After Finn dried off, we walked out into the bridge, and spotted the girls. Evie was at the steering wheel, and Bella was shouting out directions. As soon as they saw me, Evie jumped out of the way, fully aware I could take it from here.

Strangely, they didn't try to attack us. I launched a net, trying to stop their engines, but they got away. Finn ran out into the moon pool, wearing a suit just like ants, and then put on a breather mask. Evie and Bella followed suit, and soon they were heading straight towards the dark orca.

Out of nowhere, a huge plastic cannon launched out of the side, hitting Bella and knocking her out. Finn grabbed it and her, but Evie had gone Into panic mode, and wasn't helping him. I sighed. Capturing the Dark Orca would have to wait.

Running into the moon pool, I jumped into the rover and headed out. I opened the hatch and Finn put bella in, then Evie.
He jumped in after that, and I headed back to the moonstar.

As we got into the moon pool, Bella woke up and her and Evie flew out, Finn jumped out, still holding that cannon and offered me his hand, pulling me out.

"Um, why are you still holding that Finn?" I asked.

He smiled. "I know my dad, he uses these thing to send messages."

I looked at him and realised how good it was that he was on this mission. "Thanks Finn, you were really good back there. I appreciate it." I said gently.

He seemed very pleased with himself when I said that. I turned and started to head in, but he grabbed my hand and yanked me back.

"Our little conversation isn't over Fontaine. I'll find out what you were going to say Fontaine." He whispered into my ear. "No matter how long it takes."

I shivered as I felt his breath on my neck then shook my head.

"Leave it Finn. If you don't mind, I have a daughter who needs looking after." I replied to him, yanking my hand away. I walked off to check on the girls.

Bella was sitting there, completely normal and playing cards with Evie. "Hey guys! How are you feeling Bella?" I asked hugging her.

Her and Evie both hugged me. "I'm fine mommy!" She smiled.

"Hey mommy? What's that red spot on your neck?" Evie asked.

"Umm, I scratched myself there?" I replied.

Evie looked unconvinced but nodded. Me and the girls spent the rest of the afternoon playing, watching movies and doing our nails.
At around 6:30, I suggested we make dinner.

"Yay! Can we have pizza?" Evie begged me, giving me the puppy eyes.

I laughed and so did Finn. "Sure guys!" I grinned.

"Can Finn help?" Bella asked me.
I felt my heart stop beating and for a moment I couldn't answer.

"Sure guys I can help!" He grinned.

I kicked him in the shin, and then we all walked into the kitchen.

A good hour later, we were finally done putting the pizza's together.
The kitchen was a complete disaster. There was flour and tomato sauce everywhere, but at least the pizza's were in the oven.

I sent the girls to have a shower, and then me and Finn cleaned up.

"Okay, is there anything on my face now?" I asked.

"Yeah, on your nose." He grinned.

I wiped it off, and then once the girls got out of the shower, we all ate dinner.

"Okay guys, time for bed, you've had a very eventful day." I told Bella and Evie.

They pouted and stood up, waving goodnight to Finn and then following me to their bedroom.

I tucked them in and read them a story, and then Evie and Bella asked a question.

"Mommy, do you like Finn?" Evie asked.

I nearly fainted. "Umm, what made you asked that?"

"Just answer mommy."  Bella asked again.

"Umm he's been a good friend." I replied.

They smirked at each other, and then rolled over, and said a final goodnight. I went into Finn's room, but he wasn't in there. Instead he was in the office examining the note from Hammerhead.

"Hey beautiful." He lit up when he saw me, like someone had snapped him out of a bad dream.

I ignored him, and walked over. "What's it say?" I asked him

"Umm, it says,

Finn, if ye don't stop trying to stop me, I'll kill ye sister!
Leave me be! And if that don't work, it's come to me attention that ye made 2 girls! Don't try me, or they're next!
Hammerhead.

"What's so wrong with that? We can lie low for a while and then we will be fine." I said to him.

Finn sighed. "Wether you realise it or not, those girls mean the world to me. And so does Maddy. I can't bear the thought of anything happening to Any of them." He whispered.

"Don't worry. We'll lie low for a bit, and the girls will be fine." I replied.

He pulled me in and hugged me. This time, I hugged him back, an he started crying. I got that girlfriend wish to make your boyfriend happy in anyway possible feeling, so I hugged him and rubbed his back.

"It'll be okay Finn. Don't worry." I said softly.

He stopped crying, and looked at me. "Will you sleep with me again tonight?" He asked me, doing the puppy eyes.

I nodded. "Sure. But no being a jerk, or leaving anymore Hickey's." I slapped my hand over my mouth, realising I should have kept my it shut.

He smirked. "Okay. Do you want to have a bath with me?"

I thought about it for a minute. "Okay, but only because you're emotional." I relented.

He grinned and grabbed my hand, dragging me into his room. I sat on his bed and looked at him. "You go run it Pirate boy". I smirked.

He shook his head and pulled me up. "Nope. You can come in too." he said.

I glared at him, and shook my head. "Fill it yourself or I won't come." Very mature, I know.

"And if you don't come, I'll kiss you until you do!" He smirked back.

"Fat chance." I mumbled, hoping he wouldn't hear me.

Unfortunately he seemed to, and wrapped his arms around my body, trapping my arms at my side and pinning my legs between his.

"Still a fat chance now princess?" He smirked at me.

My pulse fastened and my eyes went wide. I didn't really mind if he kissed me, but I was scared of the effect he would have on me.
He picked me up bridal style and walked into the bathroom, and started filling it.

"Well come on, get changed." He said, looking at me.

I shook my head. "I'm not fully stripping, and definitely not Infront of you."

He sighed. "Fontaine come on! I'm not going to rape you."

I groaned. I wasn't going to get out of here. So I got changed, and slipped into the bath. I felt like he was staring at me, and then 10 seconds later, he slid in beside me.

"Were you staring at me?" I asked.

He blushed. "No, not at all."

I rolled my eyes. "You're still wearing your boxers?" I was surprised.

"Well, you're still wearing your t-shirt so I did too."

I looked at the rest of his body. My cheeks got hot as I noticed he had a really nice 8 pack, and toned v-line. He should have worn a whole body suit.

He seemed to notice I was staring, because he pulled me into him, pressing his lips to mine.  "Like what you see, princess?" He laughed.

I sat up and got of him, and reached for the soap. I washed my body, and he stared as my shirt slid up a little.

"Don't be a perv Finn." I murmured.

He smirked. "No Hickey's huh? What about this?" He asked, slowly sliding off my shirt.

I tried to stop him, and then I wrapped my arms around me, trying to cover up. He nestled his body between mine and pulled my arms down, trapping them beside me. He leaned in and kissed my neck, and up my jawline, before kissing me on the lips. He tried to slide his tongue in, but I wouldn't let him, and I forced him up off me.

"Finn you can't do that!" I gasped. My heart was beating a million miles an hour, and I shook my head.

He smiled. "What were you going to say before you vomited?" He asked. Answer and I'll stop." He laughed. I sighed and stayed quiet.

"Trust me Fontaine you may wanna stop me now." he muttered. "Cause I'm rather enjoying watching your face as I kiss you."

"Finn, I wasn't going to say anything, except that the girls really like you." I replied biting my lip.

Finn's pov:

I was seriously enjoying teasing her. It was obvious she didn't want me to do it but I wanted my answer.

When she finally did answer, I smirked.

"Lying to me princess? That's not very nice." I tutted.

She looked at me. "I'm not lying!" She glared.

"Oh but you are princess. You see when you lie you bite your lip." I smiled. I pressed my lips to her neck again, and started sucking on her sweet spot, on the opposite side.

Her eyes widened. "You'll give me a hickey!" She gasped.

"Well you won't answer my question! And like I said I'm really enjoying this." I shot back.

She breathed in deeply. "If I tell you you'll leave me alone?"
I nodded.

"Fine. I've been thinking, that maybe, I dont hate someone so much anymore." She whispered.

"And who would that someone be?" I asked, my face inching closer to hers.

"You." She said, simply, tears burning in her eyes.

I leaned in, and finally kissed her. She kissed me back and I grabbed her ass, squeezing it and making her gasp, which allowed me to slide my tongue in. She suddenly pushed me away.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.

I wrapped my arms Around her waist and squeezed her. She smiled and brushed my hair out of my face.

"I gave you your answer." She grinned.

I sighed, and got out of the bath. I helped her out and then wrapped her in a towel. I leaned in and kissed her, and then got dressed. When she was done she jumped in bed with me, and I relaxed as she nestled her face into my chest.

"Fontaine?" I whispered. 

"Yeah."

"I love you."

I felt her tense up, and she shook her head. "You have to give me time Finn, I'm not ready yet. I said I didn't hate you so much, not that I necessarily was ready." She pulled away from me and walked out, and turned her head.

"Goodnight." She whispered.

Dammit! Too much too soon? I really wanted us to be a family again and for the girls to know who I am. But I can't force Fontaine.

Fontaine's pov:

I felt bad, but I didn't feel ready yet. I decided that I'd tell the girls about him soon, and that made me feel better.

I curled up in a ball, and tried to sleep. I missed the feeling of Finn being with me, but I couldn't go back in there. As I tossed and turned, Evie and Bella ran into my room, crying.

"Mommy, we had exactly the same nightmares!" Evie cried.
Bella was wailing, and I pulled them both towards me, hugging them.

Evie and Bella settled down a bit, and fell asleep. I carried them back to their beds, and then went back to mine.

I still couldn't sleep, and finally I went and took a sleeping pill. When I finally fell asleep, I dreamed about how to tell the girls about their father.

~ the next morning ~

I woke up really early and had a shower. I walked into the main room. We were lying low for a bit, so I turned our course and wondered where we should go. As I thought, I got a call from the aronnax.

It was Mom Dad and Ant. It was a little too early wasn't it?

"Hey guys! How are you doing?" I smiled. 

"We're fine, we've decided to keep searching for Lemuria! More importantly, how are you holding up?" Dad asked.

I sighed. "Alright, Bella and Evie both and the same nightmares last night. As we destroyed the kitchen making pizza."

Ant laughed. "Why am I not surprised?"

"How are you coping with Finn?" Mom asked.

"Well I'm not really sure. He already knows the girls are his, Evie and Bella keep asking for him to do stuff with them, and he spoils them even though they have no idea who he is." I shrugged.

Dad grinned. "Sounds like he's a keeper."

I groaned. "No dad, don't say that! He explained why he left."

Mom smirked. "Told you to talk to him."

I rolled my eyes. Yeah, not going to explain that one to her.

"When are you going to tell the girls? " Dad asked.

"I don't know, I don't even know how I feel right now. I told myself every day for 6 years that I hated him, that he was a terrible boyfriend and father and then he just waltzes back into my life and all the reasons to hate him are gone. Do you know how hard that is on me? My twins love him, he goes around with this misery guts look on his face and then his father threatened him. Guess what he says? You girls are the most important thing in my life. It's Messing with me, and I want to trust him, but how am I supposed to?"  I ranted.

Mom looked at dad. "If you love him enough, it'll be easy." She smiled.

I sighed. Unfortunately, I think I did love him. And his adorable face, and demeanor All the time messed with me. The girls and Finn suddenly ran in, I assume they were playing hide and seek again.

"Haha! You can't get me, I can fly!" Evie shouted. Her and Bella flew up and saw me on a video call.

"Oh, hey guys!" Ant called. They flew over and started talking with him.

Evie started complaining she wanted a bath, so her and Bella went off together. I rolled my eyes, as Finn decided to come over and say hi.

"Hi, kaiko, Will, ant. How are you?" He asked. I could clearly see he was nervous, and I almost wanted to hug him.

Dad grinned. "We're fine! How are you putting up with Fontaine?" He smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "Really dad, I'm not 16 any more."

Finn smiled a little. "Oh, I'm okay, I've been working in my room most of the time. And your daughter is busy with her girls." Finn replied.

Bella suddenly ran in and froze Finn. He looked silly and it made me laugh.

"Sweetheart, what are you doing?" I asked her.

She grinned. "Watch this!"

Finn started moving, and suddenly busted out of the ice. "Haha! I've got you now, you little monkey!" He laughed, running after Bella.

'I didn't know he had that power.' I muttered to myself.

Mom looked at me. "How did you know he had any powers?"

Shit. Why'd I say that?

"Umm, because he used his powers at the office at WOA." I replied. I was careful not to bite my lip, and they seemed to buy it.
Dad took it on a new line.

"He seems pretty good with your girls." He said, doing bunny ears at the end.

I sighed. That wasn't the only thing he was good at.

Mom looked at me. "Just give him a chance Fontaine! You might be happier."

Dad looked at mom. "Sorry honey we have to go." He said.

We all said goodbye and then I switched off the video call. I felt hot tears threatening to fall, and Finn walked in.

"Where's the girls?" I asked, wiping my face.

"In bed." he answered hugging me.

"Why?" I asked. "It's only 3:30."

"They wanted a nap." He smiled. "We can't stay here where should we go?" He asked.

I thought for a minute. "Maybe we can go to California Disneyland?" I offered. He nodded.

"And I'll tell the girls who you are." I offered.

He jumped up and spun me around. "Really?"

"Yeah. I guess it's not fair to keep them in the dark and I believe you're not going to run off again. I might as well." I said with small smile.

He grinned, and kissed my forehead. "Never again." He replied.

We sat down at the table and booked park tickets and accommodation. Evie and Bella came in and sat on my lap.

"Hey guys." Finn smiled at them, and they grinned, and froze him again.

They ran off and played and I tried to think of how to tell the girls about their father. I was worried that they would be mad at me for not telling them sooner.
