Luckily for her, being lesbian was a popularity boost. Unlike all the teen fictions I've  read, peopled tried to show their open-mindedness and so they were extra nice.

This seemed to be good. It was more than I could ever hope for.
Maybe people will treat me like that too, or at the least they won't hate me for who I am.
