Victoria was collecting her things to leave office ASAP. She just wanted to go back home, lay curled up on her bed, die not to worry about any thing and cry her heart out. After packing her shoulder bag she was going to leave when she heard knock at door.

As she allowed to come in, one peon came inside with few files.

"Madam..! sir sent these files to complete all remaining work...!" Peon said while placing at her desk. Listening him Victoria's eyes popped out. She couldn't believe her ears.

"But I was going back home. My time is over...!" Victoria said surprisingly that may be peon misunderstood.

"Madam I don't know but whole staff has gone already it's just you and sir are here. So definitely sir sent this only for you. And he asked for one cup of coffee also...!" Peon left her cabin after informing Victoria.

"Now what has got into thick skull of this jerk. I knew it I have hurt his ego but he will do this I never expected...!" An irresistible wave of anger coursed through Victoria. Throwing herself at chair she held her head in both palms as his crazy revenge pissed her off to no extent.

Victoria came out from her cabin and she saw whole staff already have gone except her.

"Today I wasn't in condition to do over time but he won't show mercy. After all he is an egoistic jerk...!" Victoria thought gritting her teeth in anger. First she went in rest room to settle her appearance. She doesn't want to show that once again Alexander refused to accept her in his life. She doesn't want to face Daniel's endless investigation after looking her puffy and red eyes.

She washed her face and after applying little bit make up she made a cup of coffee for Daniel. There was pin drop silence and this huge empty building was looking more like ghost house. She knocked at Daniel's door but after getting no reply she entered in his cabin silently. She saw around each corner but he was no where. Closed door of washroom was showing he must be inside. Taking advantage of this opportunity she placed cup at table and turned around to leave his cabin asap. As she held the door knob a muscular voice stopped her at her place.

"Why you took so long to bring a simple cup of coffee. You know very well I don't like lazy people...!" Daniel said while leaning against his table. Listening lazy word set Victoria literally on fire. Holding door knob tightly she closed her eyes.

"I need to complete my work so if you need any thing just call me. I'm in my room...!" Saying this she left the room without looking back. Daniel chuckled as he was expecting an outburst but she made him surprised after replying straightforward.

He looked back at cup of coffee and a content smile took place at his face. Taking a sip of coffee he closed his eyes like it was most delicious thing he ever tasted.

"Viks you have magic in your hands...!" Daniel chuckled when her all the time glaring face came in his mind.

At the other hand Victoria threw pencil at her table and held her paining head in her both palms. Her hectic tiring day and all the crying session after talking to Alexander giving her severe headache. She knew it today she gave lots of reasons to receive this extra work as punishment. How he can spare her after all he is the boss here that too cruel one.

"Madam...! Sir calling you in his cabin...!" After knocking at door once again peon appeared in her cabin. Victoria just nodded her head and peon left the room.

"What he wants now. At one hand he gave me lots of work to do and at other hand he is troubling me so much. How I will complete it....! Victoria ignoring everything again started her work. She knew it Daniel must be boiling like volcano but she don't care.

"I wish Tyler or Alexander at-least call him to ask about me, maybe then he can allow me to go home. But I know they wont do this. After all I'm in most safest hands...!" calming her raging breaths she opened her drawer and took out pain killers. After gulping tablets as she was going to place half filled glass back it slipped from her hands and water spread everywhere on the table.

"Oh my God...!" Keeping glass at side she picked all the files she was working on.

"What the hell....! What I have done. Daniel won't leave me OMG what I have done...!" Throwing papers back at table she fell at chair crying at her bad luck. After cursing her stars she once again picked papers up. Seeing dripping water from the pages her chest heaved and her eyes stung with gathering tears. As much she wanted to complete it fastly, it was getting more messed up. Her body jolted as she was taken out of the trance of her thoughts the moment phone started ringing.

"helo...!" She replied after composing her flattering heart.

"Bring all the files I asked you to complete...!" His bossy voice sent chill to her spin. Before that she could tell about the mess she created she listened line was already dead. He cut the call even without waiting for her reply.

"Oh my God now what I will do. He will eat me alive today. God please help me....!" She was at the verge of crying Looking at her flooded table. She stood up and went to face her death.

After reaching his door she raised her hand up twice but couldn't knock. She was taking deep breaths to prepare herself when door flew open widely. There he was standing placing one hand at his waist and other holding door knob. Looking at his damn serious face she gulped the knot in her throat. She slapped her head in her mind after realising there is CCTV camera at front of his door. He must be looking at her doing all exercise outside of his door. He took a side to give her way to enter.

Taking slow steps she entered in his cabin. She fisted the back of chair as he closed the door behind her. Daniel came across the table and sat at his chair.

"So where are the files I sent to complete....!" Daniel asked moving his full concentration at her face. He noticed tiredness and frustration clearly at her face.

He knew it that work was so much and she can't complete in these few hours but still he wanted to show her never ever disobey your boss. Victoria neither replied nor looked up towards him.

"I'm asking you something miss Victoria. Where are the files...?" This time his irritation and anger was clearly visible in his voice.

Taking deep breath she looked towards him and suddenly she forgot what she was going to say. In his Armani suit with wet hairs he was looking fresh and hypnotising.

His washed face was still little bit wet and after moving his wet fingers in his hairs he settled them. After checking him out as her eyes met his demand-full gaze she came back in her senses. As Daniel saw her puffy red eyes he sat straight and before he could ask her any thing she spoke the words he didn't like to listen.

"Sir I couldn't complete that...!" She replied turning her eyes down at floor.

"What...? You didn't even complete little bit....!" He asked straightening his tired form at chair. As she shook her head negatively now Daniel's temperature started getting higher.

"Can I ask you why...?" Daniel's powerful voice echoed in closed walls of the cabin. Shrinking at her place she gathered her courage to tell him she did almost all the work but she spread water on that. But at the other hand she couldn't tell bcs it was sounding too foolish. One thing was confirmed tonight was going to be tough for her.

"What were you doing during these hours..? Damn it why you always cross the last limits of my patience...!" His rudeness got the best of him as his voice turned to be so stern. Now she closed her eyes to keep herself shut from saying something worse. Daniel waited for her reply in tens silence but her quitness filled him with equal anger and frustration.

"Victoria if you aren't serious about this job then you can tell me. Because I can't bear lazy useless people in my company...!" And this time two words "USELESS" and "LAZY" fell like thunder at her ears.

She looked up that may be sudden anger prompted him to make such harsh remarks but she found no specifically regret in his gesture.

"What...? Do you think after doing hard work day and night I'm still useless and lazy...?" This time her eyes swam a cloud of rage.

"Keep your voice down...!" Daniel shouted leaning forward hitting both palms at table.

"No I won't. Not after listening insult all the time...!" Gritting her teeth she spoke looking straight in his eyes. He kept looking at her all shocked. She gulped the thick lump in her throat which was suffocating her from breathing. Boring his hazel stormy eyes in hers, he stood up. Coming towards her he watched every nuance, every detail of her expressions, as if his existence depends on it.

"Come again what you said...? Insult...?" Daniel asked while taking lazy steps towards her. Her words shot an unexpected gash inside him.

"If do you think asking my employees about their work is insult then this place isn't for you miss Victoria...!" Saying that Daniel threw more fuel at fire.

"Yes you said right, this place isn't for me. After giving years of my life to this company, this is what I deserve back...!" She said looking away from his arresting gaze. He couldn't ignore her trembling lower lip as she tried to control her tears.

Without breaking his gaze he covered the remaining little bit distance between them. Her heart raced rapidly sooner he stopped dangerously close.

"Look at me...!" Daniel asked still demand full attitude was there in his words. But she didn't look up towards him. He raised his hands up to cup her red cheeks. She pushed him back with full force as his fingers were going to touch her burning face.

"Don't touch me. Be in your limits...!" She replied with rage full voice. Taking a step back she maintained distance between themselves. His lips twitched into smirk looking at her.

"Hmmm Impressive. What a courageous move. You know misbehaviour with boss might be dangerous for your job. So don't you dare to do it again...!" Daniel uttered words indicating hidden warning.

"Otherwise What will you do...? She once again pushed him back with full force. Daniel trembled back at his steps. Surprise was clearly visible at his face.

"Will you kick me out...!" Taking one more step forward she once again pushed him back.

"Don't...!" Daniel warned her raising his index finger towards her. Now her anger was rippling through him.

"Then you can do it...! Infect I'll resign from this job myself. I don't want to do work with a selfish jerk like you. You doesn't deserve my precious time...!" She once again came ahead to push him when he prompted self instantly grabbed her both wrists pinning her whole body against the wall. His muscular chest pressing against her rising and falling with raged breaths.

"Shhhh...! No more word. Still his gigantic physique pressing against her, he pinned her both wrists over her head. Suddenly an ordinary tentacle of nervousness engulfed her senses as he ensnared her in stern grip. His mascular tantalizing fragrance swirled through her nostrils making her little light headed.

"Leave my hands...!" Victoria was struggling to make her wrists free from his grip, but nothing did work out accordingly as he kept gluing her against the wall.

"Daniel let me go...!" She whispered lowly when Daniel interlaced his long fingers with hers. He brought his face little closer. She tried to move away but his strong body was pressing her tightly against the wall. A stimulant sensation seared through her whole body in a haste.

"I'll let you go if you say sorry for pushing me like this...!" Daniel asked still having all control at her.

Victoria once again felt burning feeling with anger but she tried to be calm. After struggling her best she understood he wasn't going to leave her easily. After taking defeated sigh she looked up towards him.

"Sorry...!" Her apologise hardly reached to her own ears.

"What you said, please say again...!" Daniel asked while rubbing his thumb at her wrist. His lazy touch was so sensational. His husky voice was soft and anger was suddenly a thing of past.

"I'm Sorry...!" Victoria once again apologised in littler louder voice. Daniel left her wrists having victorious smile at his face. She tried to roll away from him but he caged her while placing both palms at wall. She pressed herself more into wall to avoid connection of their bodies. Having self-satisfied smirk he moved more closer, covered little bit remaining distance.

She stolen her gaze away while rubbing her red wrists to ease the pain of his grip. Daniel kept looking towards her and she knew it what he is waiting for, obviously for her answer.

"I almost completed my work but while taking pain killers glass of water slipped from my hands at papers. I almost finished my work. I'm not useless or lazy. ...!" She bite her lower lip to control her tears. Listening her reason Daniel straightened himself still looking all shocked at her face.

"Pain killers...?" Are you ok...? Why you had pain killers...?" Daniel cupped her face in his both palms and forced her to look up towards himself.

"None of your business...!" Victoria replied back still her anger was at peak. Listening her words once again Daniel chuckled. Looking back into her fire spitting eyes he spoke huskily.

"Everything related to my girl is my business sweetheart...!" He whispered moving his index finger from her jaw to her collar bone.

"I'm not your girl. Ok. So don't cross your limits....!" Victoria started pushing him away to escap his breath taking closeness.

"I'm seeing today you got so much courage to insult your boss while standing in his own cabin...'" Daniel replied while his expressive hazel eyes propelled from her eyes to her quivering lips. A deep pool of emotions swam in his orbs as he kept looking at her with content smile. She was looking everywhere in the room except him trying to avoid this sensational closeness.

"Again he made you cry...!" Daniel asked her and she knew it whom he is talking about. All the conversation with Alexander and after that her insanely breakdown was flowing back to her mind hallucinating her. Looking everywhere in the room except him she fought back her tears, not wanting to cry at front of him. A great sense of pity, tenderness and love welled up in his heart. But very next her harsh words brought his worst out.

"Who do you think you are to interfere in my personal life. So mind your own business .....!" Victoria again tried to escape from the topic Daniel was going to bring.

"It's my business damn it, it's my business....!" Daniel banged his hands at wall so making her flinch at her place. Her words engraved a stormy rage at his magnificent features.

"Alexander and my personal life was never a matter for you to interfere in....!" Victoria replied trying to control her horrified expressions. She moved her face at other side when blaze of his stare was burning her alive.

"When will you understand he isn't Alexander. Don't call him Alexander. Dont call him....!" Gripping her face in his hand he forced her to look towards himself.

"He is Alexander, my Alexander....!" She screamed at his face while trying to free her face from his grip.

"Alexander have gone. He have gone far away. When you will accept it. Alexander have gone....!" Cupping her face in his palms Daniel almost pleaded. His voice was so weak and full of pain. Shaking her head negatively she started sobbing. This was the reality she never excepted.

"He isn't Alexander. Don't do this with yourself, don't do this with him. Let him go, let him go back to his family.....!" Daniel told the truth she never wanted to listen.

"No...! Nooo...! He is my Alexander. My Alexander can never leave me. He promised he would never leave me. He promised me. I can't forget his eyes. The same one chocolate brown eyes. I can't forget. He is my Alexander....!" She was sobbing uncontrollably letting her tears to flow freely.

"Come with me. I'll show you where Alexander is...!" Leaving her face Daniel held her wrist and started walking without saying any more word.

"Daniel leave me. Where are you taking me. Please leave my hand....!" Victoria was crying, shouting and sometime pleading but Daniel kept dragging her with him. He kept walking until he reached his car.

His driver came running towards car but pushing Victoria at passenger seat Daniel took drivers seat. He turned his car at full speed totally ignoring her helpless tears and painful sobs.

"Daniel please let me go home. Please my head is paining already. Please let me go....!" Victoria was almost begging shaking his forearm. Her tears and sobs were slicing through his heart. Holding steering wheel more tightly he fastened the speed of the car. After 20 minute painful drive suddenly car stopped at front of a huge metal gate. Victoria's face became pale after reading the board beside the gate.

"HOLY NAME CEMETERY"

"Victoria's horrifying expressions shifted from the cemetery gate to Daniel. All the perceptions in both her mind and heart were stirred the moment she understood why he brought her here.

"NO. Daniel please No....!" She shook her head when sudden panic bubbled within her.

He seemed unable to bear the sight of her tears daniel closed his eyes. Taking a deep sigh he unfastened seat belt and came out of the car. As he opened the door of passenger seat Victoria pushed herself away from his reach. Daniel politely held her wrist and pulled her out from the car.

"Please Daniel. Don't do this. I'll dye. Please let's go back home. Why you brought me here. Look I don't feel good to be at such places. Please Daniel let me go..!" Her words came like a piteous, despairing cry and an entreaty for mercy. But she knew it he won't let her go at least not tonight.

"Shhhhhh....! Keep silence, Come with me....!" Daniel turned back towards her and placing his index finger at her lips made her shush. At night cementry was looking terrifying. Victoria was so furiously crying and pulling her hand from his grip but he didn't stop until they reached at front of one special grave. She tried to hide herself behind him when he pushed her forward.

"Look at this. Look carefully...!" Daniel pushed her forward and losing her balance she almost fell at her knees. Instantly she palmed her face still sobbing uncontrollably.

"Victoria look at him. How peacefully he is sleeping here....!" Daniel whispered and feeling too heavy he instinctively knelt down beside Victoria.

"ALEXANDER Ludwig....!" Daniel read the name while touching engraved alphabets at tomb.

"Only brother of DANIEL Ludwig....!" Daniel spoke and Victoria cried louder. His fingers Caressing his brother's name with so much devotion and wordless cry of his soul.

"Viks he left us. He left you. He didnt think about me how I'll live without him. He have gone far away from us. Forever. He won't come back...!" Daniel whispered taking Victoria's still shaking figure in side hug. Listening his words Victoria pushed herself away from Daniel's embrace. She was fighting hard to push away the gathering emotions that told her Alexander was really have gone. Forever.

"No. He cant leave me. Nooo. He never gone. My Alexander is back. He is here. Why don't you believe. Our Alexander can't leave us....!" She shrieked, her anger overcoming her fear.

"He isn't Alexander. He is Manik. Did you here me. HE IS MANIK MALHOTRA....!" grabbing her shoulders he pulled her closer. The look of shear fury on his face replaced her anger with fear. Seeing her scared of himself his anger faltered, and sorrow filled his face.

"Alexander have gone. He have died. Come into your senses viks. See he is here sleeping peacefully. Don't give this punishment to my brother. His soul would be in pain. Let him rest in peace. Let him go. Please I beg you let my brother's soul to rest in peace. Please...!" Shaking her lifeless body Daniel was almost begging. Tears fell from his eyes when she looked back towards Alexander's grave. She didn't say a single more word but she was continuously shaking her head like reality was making her horrified and shudder. Pain and shock flashing through her tearful eyes.

"Viks....! look at me, viks...!" Daniel whispered pulling her almost in his lap. He was trying to bring her back from her shocked state. He tried to turn her attention towards himself. Without blinking her eyes she was just staring at tomb. When daniel couldnt bear her endless tears any more, he pulled her into his arms. She hated him but embrace he gave her was warm and was needing too. It was like they were so alone and now all they had was each other to hold on to.

"Viks Alexander loved you so much. He couldn't see a single tear in your eyes. You know when he was at his death bed in hospital struggling for his life. He was just worried for you....!" His kind, honest eyes with tears rising in them when he spoke of his loss, loss of only person at the name of family, his younger brother.

"You now his last words he spoke to me...?

"He asked me to promise him that I'll protect you, I'll keep you happy. I'll never let any sorrow to reach you. And I promised him I'll do any thing to keep you happy. But he must be angry at me bcs I couldn't fulfil my promise. I couldn't protect you from pain. I couldn't....!" He was whispering continuously moving his fingers in her hairs. Tears fell from his eyes as it always did, painful memories sparked through his mind.

Her silent sobs and hiccups were slicing through his heart. No longer able to fight her illusions her arms fell down lifelessly. Suddenly Daniel felt her whole weight at himself. When he moved little back she fell unconscious in his arms.

"Viks...! Look at me. Viks....!" Daniel was patting her cheeks calling her name again and again. Daniel got panicked when she didn't even move. Daniel lifted her motionless flimsy figure in his arms and ran towards his car.

After fastening her seat belt he came runing towards his seat. He started driving without wasting a single second.

"I'M sorry. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't bring you here....!" Daniel was mumbling while looking at her time to time. He was driving madly that one hour way to hospital, he just covered in 20 minutes.

"Helo Tyler come to the hospital. Viks got unconscious. Come fast....!" Daniel dialled tyler's number who was one of the best doctors of the city. Infect at the weakest moment Victoria needed her brother more than a doctor.

Next day nandni was getting ready early morning to attend meeting. She was almost running towards boardroom. She didnt want to be late specially at this most important day. Today her boss needed whole staff on time in boardroom to discuss all future plans.

As she entered the boardroom whole staff and her boss Mr khurana was there just waiting for her. After taking permission she sat at her seat and finally they started their discussions. After discussing all the matters at the end Mr khurana wanted to thank personally to whole staff.

"Now our company is going to be part of an international company so definitely I'm having few expectations from my staff. I warn you already that your new boss is really strict. He wouldn't think for a single second before kicking you out if you didn't reach to his expectations. He is very punctual and disciplined man. When he asked he needed this work to be completed on time then you must have to do it otherwise consequences wouldn't be good for your job. Mrs Malhotra during my supervision I always gave you little less pressure of work bcs you have a family and a little baby to handle but I'm not sure your new boss will allow such concessions. So be careful and try to work hard and don't make him angry. I know you need this job, infect all of you needed your jobs so try to work hard and don't make your boss disappointed. Just few more days then I won't be here any more. After that your new boss will handle this branch. I am very happy that I worked with all of you. Im very thankful for all the efforts and day night hard work you have done for this company. Tonight I need all of you here for little extra time to complete few things. Thanks and take care....!" With all best wishes and greetings Mr khurana stood up to leave the meeting room.

"Sir what is the name of our new boss....?" He was about to exit when one staff member stopped him.

"Mr Alexander....!" Mr khurana left the room after telling the name who was going to write everyone's fate here.

All staff started to leave the board room when some one pulled nandni back. With a shocked and angry face nandni turned around to give a solid punch. But as she turned around someone just threw arms around her neck taking her in bone crushing hug.

"Nandniiiiii....! Meri jan I missed you, I missed you sooooooo much......!" One beautiful girl with cutest smile hugged nandni. The way she was almost screaming and jumping nandni felt she will fell down at her back.

"Khushi..! idiot you just scared me. I was going to kick you really bad the way you pulled me back. Stupid I thought it was that jerk bastard.....!" Nandni took a relieved sigh after knowing it was her childhood best friend and aryaman's wife.

"Oh really then Im really sorry. It's just I was so excited to see you. Yesterday you took leave and even didn't pick my calls. You know I was so worried...!" Breaking hug khushi just started her non stop chattering. She enterwined her arm into nandni's and started walking to leave the boardroom.

"Nandni....!" Some one called her name and suddenly nandni's expressions changed from happy to hell grumpy. For few seconds nandni and khushi looked at each other and then both turned around to face the person they didnt want to see. Nandni's killing expressions were showing that, this person will face her wrath. Nandni raised her brows showing an open warning that mind your language before uttering any nonsense.

"Today sir asked that whole staff will do over time. So will you stay....!" One coligue of nandni stopped her when she almost reached the door of board room.

"It's none of your business. And how many times I told you never ever call my name with your filthy tongue. Already Mr khurana gave you warning and if once again you tried to cross my way I won't take a single minute to chop you into pieces and will throw you into a gutter. You understand. Now get lost...!" Nandni just motioned with her index finger to show the exit door of the board room.

"Ouch...! Don't be harsh. This much anger isn't good for your fragile body....!" His lustful eyes roamed at her figure from head to toe. Seeing his Hungary gaze at herself nandni felt her face growing warm.

"You know your this fiesty side always makes you more attractive. I'm your real admirer. So take care beauty queen, see you later....!" Winking with an evil laugh he went away.

"You bastard....!" Nandni picked vase placed at table to hit at his head but khushi grabbed her hand instantly.

"Nandni leave it. Nandni why you don't complain again about this jerk to Mr khurana. He always troubles you.....!" Khushi snatched vase from nandni's hands and placed back at table.

"I won't complain again bcs now I'll teach him lesson myself. What he thinks I'll hide in one corner after listening his bulshit. No way. Im not like all these girls who are scared of him....!" Nandni said greeting her teeth. She paused, collecting her deep thoughts she raised her head up confidently and left the meeting room.
