Hongjoong

-Captain of the ship.
-In love with Seonghwa.
- Shipwrecked on a stoney island on his family's boat, until he built his own and sailed on his own to find the famous "Utopia" his father always talked about.

Seonghwa

-Cook/Medic
-In love with the captain, Hongjoong.
-Sold as a sex slave to his former captain, where he resided for four years. He was raped by the captain many times as well as the other crew members.
-Has a scar on his eye from trying to push away the captain when he was trying to have his way with him again, only to receive a scar down his eye.
-Thrown off the boat after the captain was done with him, with nothing but a piece of plywood to float on and wine in a small pouch to last him.
-Hongjoong fell in love with him the moment he set eyes on that platinum blonde hair, and the bluest eyes that were bluer than the sea.

Yunho

-Gunner.
-Grew up happily with his family in a small fishing town.
-Always cheerful.
-Mingi kidnapped him when they were buying supplies, and kept him hidden from the others until Yunho escaped.
-When he escaped, Hongjoong found him and took Yunho in as a gunner.
-Tames Mingi from being a savage pirate to being an honorable and respectful man.
-Falls in love with Mingi.

Yeosang

-Mans the sails.
-Abandoned on an island, with no memory of what happened to him or who he was.
-He came to the conclusion he was a slave, due to his clothing, but still no memory of what happened to him and how he came to be where he is.
-Brought on the ship by Hongjoong and Mingi.

San

-Look out.
-Sold into slavery at the age of 10.
-Took Wooyoung under his wing for protection when he was 15.
-Loves Wooyoung.

Mingi

-First Mate.
-Sailed as a pirate with his father.
-Mingi's father died from melanoma.
-Crew was killed off by Hongjoong.
-He spared Mingi's life as long as he joined his crew.
-Kidnaps Yunho for his sexual pleasure, but does so secretly so Hongjoong wouldn't know. Yunho escaped and was found by Hongjoong.
-Overtime, falls in love with Yunho.

Wooyoung

-Assistant Medic to Seonghwa.
-Stolen by slavers when he was 15.
-Falls in love with San when they are together.

Jongho

-Gunner.
-Parents abandoned at a young age so he matured quickly.
-Doesn't trust easily.
-Can be cold and harsh at times.
-Works at an ocean city loading ships with cargo.
-Promises Hongjoong he will work on the ship for passage to a place where he can live the rest of his life in peace alone.
