ALISHA'S P.O.V.

What just happened?

What did I do?

Why did I just do that?

I was currently thinking all these things to myself while I was in the arms of this beautiful creature.

His arms were on my waist and we were laying beside each other on his bed. My cheek on his rock hard chest.

I moved just a bit and he noticed.
He looked down at me I gave him a small smile.

As much as I want believe that we can be something or actually be a WE.

I know that was never going to happen and that I have to snap out of this trance now or never.

I all but gracefully got up from the bed and he was looking at me like he was confused at my sudden withdrawal from him.

"Ummm...I have to go."I awkwardly said.

"Why?"He asked still looking confused.

"Its getting late."I lied through my teeth.

"Okay, I'll drive you ho-"

"No, I'll go on my own. Its fine."I cut him off before he could continue.

"But at least let me walk you to the gate." He offered, pouting his lips.

"Okay."

We got downstairs and I said bye to his mom.

"Bye Mrs West, thank you very much for having me. You have a lovely home."

"No problem Alisha, You're welcome anytime."She said giving me a warm smile which I politely returned.

With that Jayden and I went out the door, walking toward the gate.

"Alisha,"He called.

I turned my head to the side and answered "Yes?"

"Thank you for today."

I nodded and left.

I wasn't in a hurry to go home.

Not like I had anyone waiting for me there.

I took my time walking up the street that led to Jayden's house, feeling the cool breeze on my face and the calmness of the evening.

Thinking of all the things that just happened in his room and I was in a puddle of emotions.

Anger, frustration, hurt, something else I couldn't pinpoint.

I was angry, frustrated and hurt. He kissed me. He was my first kiss and it wasn't because he loved me, it was because he pitied me.

He pitied the terrible looking girl and ended her rant by kissing her.

He took pity on her. On me.

I remembered the sensation I got when his lips were on mine and all those just melted away.

Instead I felt something more,I couldn't name or describe but I knew one thing .

I was attracted to this boy.

I've had crushes before, on different boys but with Jayden it was different and sad because I knew nothing could ever happen between us.

I got to the front of my house gate and brought out my keys.

I opened the gate, went into the house and straight upstairs to my room to take a shower.

After a long shower, I went straight to bed.
I remembered his sweet words and before I knew it I was sound asleep.

JAYDEN'S P.O.V

She was in my arms, her face on my chest and we were both on my bed, lying side by side.

She suddenly got up and I didn't know why.

She said she had to go and she wouldn't even let me drive her home.

So I insisted she let me at least walk her to the gate and she agreed.

I told her thank you, which is something I don't usually say.

She nodded and just left.

She was so quiet during our walk to the gate and I was wondering whether I did something wrong.

Then it hit me.

What happened just a few hours ago in my room that just maybe was the one of the most amazing things in my life must have been a total shock to her.

Not to mention the fact that I had just stolen her first kiss from her.

Jayden, you are an idiot...

That, I am. That, I am.

I immediately knew what I had to do.

I went back inside the house after locking the gate and went upstairs to take a shower.

After my warm shower, I went straight to bed.

Lying on my bed, I recalled all the things that happened today and drifted into sleep peacefully. A smile plastered on my face.

I had barely gotten an hour of sleep when I heard a knock on my door.

As I suspected, It was my mom coming to get the details of today's 'project'.

I told her every thing that I felt she needed to know leaving out any details of our kiss.

She was suspicious and I- not wanting to go into any more detail-waved her off so that I could get some well deserved sleep.

With that, I drifted back into sleep.
