ALISHA'S P.O.V.

The moment has come when I'm finally mortified.

He said he wanted to talk about yesterday and I couldn't take it.

"Stop,"He was looking at me as I continued,
"Its okay. Yesterday was something that I think we should forget and just pretend like it never happened. We both got caught up in the moment and did things that we shouldn't have,"

I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest as I went on to say,"and I'm very sure it meant nothing to you either so lets not make this more complicated than it already is."

Hot tears threatened to spill from my eyes.

He was just sitting there looking at me.

I couldn't bear it ,I had to get it off my chest because as wonderful as it would seem in the fairy tales that a part of me liked to believe could come true with this boy,I knew better that to just let myself fall and be used like that.

I didn't want to talk about it, neither did I hear what he had to say.

I couldn't handle his rejection.
It would be like ten knives stabbing my heart.

Jayden was saying,"Alisha,you didn't even hear what I had to say first and-"
I raised my hand gesturing for him to stop, cutting him off before he could continue.

"Can we just forget it...please?" I said looking at him with pleading eyes.

"Okay,If that's what you want,I accept your decision."His eyes looked so blank when he said these words to me.

"Thank you."

The atmosphere in the room was tense so I decided to break the ice seeing that we now have a kind of unspoken pact not to make things awkward between us.

"Do you want to start the project now or..."

"Sure,lets start now."

After eight long hours of glue,food coloring, ketchup and confusion, we finally did it.

We made the model in time, if I do say so myself.

I told him it was already late and we could stop for today.

He said so too but before he could even make it out the door it started raining cats and dogs.

There was a lot of wind and dust flying around so I suggested that he stayed the,at least until the rain had gone down a bit.

He refused but I insisted and he eventually.

This was going to be one long night.

JAYDEN'S P.O.V.

Alisha and I decided that we wouldn't speak of our kiss again and if it was what made her happy,I was okay with it.

Even though I didn't really like the idea but I was willing to put up with it for her sake.

"You should stay here till the rain stops."Her voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"No, Its okay. I came in my car."

"But its raining cats and dogs outside and its not safe to drive."She pointed out.

She looked at me with pleading eyes.

How can I say no to that?

"Fine, I'll stay here till the rain subsides."

She gave a small smile and I gave her a smirk.

"Are you really sure you want me to stay here with you tonight. I mean,I am a good looking guy,"

I gave her a wink and ran my hand through my hair and gave her my best smile and continued the teasing.

"You may just end up falling for me."
I saw her roll her eyes at me and we both burst out laughing.

"Yeah, right." was all she said to me.
We spent the whole night on the couch talking about nothing,but to me that meant everything.

Her cute laughs, giggles ,the way she rolls her eyes and even the way she playfully smacks and I pretend that it hurt,all these things just... made my day.

The rain didn't subside so I'd eventually spend the night at her place.
