Ira's pov

I was thinking about Ade, my favorite character from my favorite Wattpad story, who is also my imaginary lover. I know he isn't real, but I can't help but fall for him more every time I read the story. I can't even remember how many times I've read it.

"AHH," I scream a little, getting startled from hearing my notification bell suddenly in the silence. I forget about everything else as I saw who mailed me... it's her, Rose, my sister!

Hey Ira. Happy birthday again!

How did your year go? I know we only get to talk once a year, but I always wait for this day to come!

I start crying once I see what she wrote. She missed me! She actually missed me!! Wiping away my tears, I answer back hurriedly. I know she's not going anywhere, but... it's just a reflex, I guess? Whatever.

Ira's answer mail
Hey Rosie~Thanks a lot, and I MISSED YOU MORE!!! I still can't believe that I'm actually talking to you!

Rose

So?Did you and Stella get accepted into the art & music high school in Santa Cruz?

Ira

Oh that... the email is going to come at midnight (12 AM).

Rose

Ok, tell me their answer when you find out. Sorry, but I have to go now... ttyl, when the school responds. Bye!

Ira's pov

I can't believe that even though we only talk once a year, she never really pays attention to what I'm saying. I sigh as I jump on my bed. Now, I just have to wait for an hour, so that- RRRRING

My phone rings, but my face turns into a frown as I look at the caller ID. It's Stella. What does she want now? Even though I'm upset, I still pick up the call.

Hello?

Hello Ira? Thank god you picked up.

Whatever. What is it?

I'm sorry about what happened in the-

WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME?!?

Ira flinches as Stella yells from the other side of the phone.

Ok.

I got the email, and I'm sure you got it too. I know it came early, but I haven't opened it yet, so let's do it together!

Ira's pov

My eyes go wide and all the color drains from my face. "Why did it come early?" I think to myself. My palms start to get sweaty as I tap aggressively on my phone screen to open the email. The call is still on.

Ok Stella, let's do it together! On the count of three! 1... 2...

I take a deep breath before opening it.

OMGGGGGG!!!!
OMGGGGGG!!!!

I GOT IN STELLA!!!!
I GOT IN IRA!!!!

I had tears in my eyes as we screamed together on the call. I can't believe it, we both got into our dream school! Together!!

Sorry Ira, but I'll call you tomorrow! I need to tell my parents about this! Gosh, I'm so happy!!

Me too girl! Ok then, ttyl!

I put my phone down, take in a deep breath, and exhale. Wait. I have to tell Rose about this. I hurriedly take my phone back and email her.

Ira

Rosie! I got in, and Stella did too!!!

Rose

That's awesome sis, I'm so proud of you! You know one of my online friends used to live in Santa Cruz... I can ask her to give you and Stella a tour of the city. Just let me know in a couple of days. Gn and happy birthday again, your birthday will end in 2 mins!

Ira

Thank youuuuu~ And yeah sure! I'll ask Stella and let you know! Most likely she'll say yes, but still...Gn
