Ira's pov
I woke up as my alarm went off. It's the last day of Summer and my 16nth birthday, I can't believe how fast time can be sometimes. And tomorrow is the first day of sophomore year in High School.

God I hate school, and my parents make me take extra classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.

My name is Ira Rose Black. I am 16 years old and my hobbies are music, art and badminton and a lot more as my parents are one of the people who make their kids go to extra classes every single day including the whole Summer vacation.

I also have a lost sister, yeah not really 'lost' as she ran away from home but my parents like to say that  instead of her running away from home. She was 17 at that time.

I dont know what happend exactly because I was only 3 when she left home. But my brother told me that our parents never really cared for her, I dont know why. But they did try quite hard to find her, but it was of no use.

One day they yell at her, humiliate her, and the other day there is no sign of her anywhere. She was just gone in a pinch of second as my brother says. All she left was a letter to my parents saying that she will never be back and to let my brother and I do whatever we want with our lives.

I only get to talk to her once a year on my birthday, when she mails on my phone wishing me a happy birthday. So at that time my parents try very hard to track where she is, every single time, but they fail miserably

And she always has a new mail address so it's impossible. But at midnight when everyone is asleep we talk only for a few minutes, bit those few minutes give me the oxygen to live for the whole coming year. Wish she comes back. Even if she doesn't, I'll find her.

                     ~Next day~

Ira's pov
I got up from my bed rubbing my eyes and went straight into the bathroom to do my morning routing. My morning routine was just brushing my teeth, washing my face and brushing my hair. As I walked down, I heard my parents  talking about their new stupid plan to find my sister's location. I'm not even surprised anymore.

"Hey, what's for breakfast?" I said as both of my parents looked straight at me nervously.

"What? I didnt hear anything guys, chill."

"Happy birthday sissy!!"

"Yeah thanks Ray" I replied my brother who jumped from the stairs.

"So what's your new plan on finding Rose?" He asked your parents who just let out a sigh.

"Wait did the mail from her come Ira?"

"No, not yet"

"She always mails you by this time" he said looking at the clock in the dining room over the cabinet.
"Wait she's alive right?"

"Yes she is!!!" snapped my mom.

"Ok guys calm down, it was just a joke! Jeez man," he says shaking his head.

That's when my phone gave a ding sound of the notification.

"Ira check your phone!!" yelled my parents. And if you are wondering why they are yelling, its because...because....I don't know.

A huge grin was plastered on my face as I checked. My sister mailed me wishing happy birthday!

Before I could read the whole thing my parents literally snatched my phone away and started doing something in it aggressively. But they gave up in a couple of minutes as always. The screen said ' USER NOT FOUND '

I guess they failed again.
