What should I do?

Because of the conversation the other day, I can't concentrate at my study at all. It keeps bugging me. I can't study when my decision is still wavering. I have to make my stand but my heart won't cooperate. It feels like my mind has suddenly, without warning shuts down my heart.

"Mizuho-san!"

I flinch.

"Who is it that disturb me? ", I murmur to myself.

I look ahead and see a red monster errr-r-r I mean my teacher, O N I Y A- s e n s e i whose face alrealy light up like fire.

"Ha-ha-hai sensei? ", I stutter.

Oniya-sensei's face is really frightening right now.

"What are you doing just now? "

"I read the pas-passage that you told us to read, of course." A big fat lie. Obviously I was drowned in my own thought. I can't possibly said that though. He stares at me intensely and I can see his eyes are full with doubt.

He definitely knows that I'm lying!

"Then, can you kindly tell me which line we're on and read it for the class. "

DOOMMM

I'm totally done this time.

He throws me a smile. That devilish smile of his!

Looks like Elsa casts a spell on my tongue because it totally has frozen! I cannot say anything. To be precised, I am afraid to utter even a word because I realize anything I said now will make it becomes worse.

Someone please help me!

I look around to search for help. Anybody will do. Unfortunately, everyone is avoiding my eyes. I do not blame them since Oniya-sensei really loves to pick on his students. Sign of love, he said.

DUH!

Isn't there any angel in disguise here? I need one like right now!

Suddenly, I see someone trying to attract my attention.

H i t s u y a!

Heis trying to give me clue! But what? I cannot figure it out, beside his place is just behind where our sensei is standing. Trying to cover up when their position are really close by is really hard you know. Oniya-sensei starts to lose his patience. He tap his textbook at the nearby desk, making me lose my sane even more.

Come on, Hitsuya! What are you trying to say?

The tension has risen up and I almost lose it. Hitsuya makes a peace sign with his fingers. 

Peace? Two? Line two?

I look at line two. There is no way it's line too. I am pretty sure someone already read those. Then, what is it?

Is it passage two?

Impossible, it is too close by. The class has already ongoing for 15 minutes. There is no way we are at passage two now.

Peace sign? What else can it looks like?

Hhmmm. I give it a deep thought. Oh yeah, it might look like I have been asked for a long time but it was only 10 seconds since Oniya-sensei asked me. I am a quick thinker after all. Okay, back to the current situation I am in.

What does a peace sign looks like?

Hmmmm..

Aha! A 'V'! And in Roman numbers it means number 5!

Line 5 is impossible then, it must be passage 5!

Finally, thanks God! Geez Hitsuya, why can't he gave clue like a normal person?

"Mizuho-san? I think I've waited long enough, " my sensei says impatiently.

Only 20 seconds though.

"Passage 5! We stopped at passage 5, right?, " I almost yell because of my uncontrollable excitement.

He seems surprised that I know it.

Take that!

"Can I read it now, sensei? ", I ask, trying to be polite.

"Sure. You may read now," he says and heads to the front.

I have to pay my gratitude to Hitsuya after this.

After class, Oniya-sensei called me out and asked me to meet him at his room after school ends. It's nothing weird, after all he is my homeroom teacher. I quickly pack my things and head to his room as fast as I can.

"Ayumu, you guys go home first okay. Sensei got something to talk with me today. Bye, see you tomorrow," I told Ayumu who is also my classmate. The field is full with students who are doing their clubs activities. I am jealous of them. Being able to do anything they want without any pressure. For me, that kind things have end for from me a long time ago.

I knock the door, after given permission by Oniya-sensei, I enter.

"What do you want to talk to me about, sensei? "

He flips over a few pages of the file, still not looking at me and he stops after he found the page he is looking for.

"You're targeting Shinzo Elite High School, am I right? "

So, it's about that again huh.

Seriously, what's everyone problem with my choice?
