I hear voices, but they sound far away."She's alive."says one person. It sounded like a girl.

"How is she alive? It doesn't make any sense."says another voice, this one sounds like a boy. And the boy is right.

It doesn't make any sense, but like I said before I'm a Alien. I don't know how I'm going to explain to them how I'm alive. I can't make anything up, I had no pulse, they know somethings up.

I hear them moving around the room, they must be double checking the machines I'm hooked up to.

"Why is she still alive? She had no pulse."says the boy."I don't know Eric. She shouldn't be alive. I don't know why or how but her heart just started beating again."says the girl.

"But it makes no sense Tina."says Eric.

"Your right Eric it doesn't make sense and we'll figure this out later. I'll have my mom check her over. After all she's the collage nurse."says Tina.

"But you know your way around here like the nurse. You could be the nurse."says Eric. Tina smiles, or atleast I think she did.

I can hear it in her voice."That's what years or training does."says Tina. I'm awake now but I keep my breathing steady like I'm still asleep. I'm not sure if I'm ready to talk to any of them. My breed of Alien can get shot, the heat will stop, but we don't need a heart to live.

The way to kill us it with a special type of weapon. I think my parents once told me it was a kind of sword. Our skin in one spot on our bodies is as hard as steel. The sword can pierce the one bit of skin and kill us. Any other weapon can hurt us. But no matter how bad the wound may be it will never be fatal. I hear the two people moving around again.

"Her heart rate is beating faster then humanly possible. This amount of stress could kill a person."says Tina.

I sigh and know that now is the time to open my eyes. Thinking about my kind and the weapon that could kill us freaked me out.

I open my eyes and move my head to the side and see Tina, and Eric looking at me."Your alive. How are you alive?"says Eric.
