Finding Sweetheart(Chapter 2)

Riddhima took the man to the hospital and admitted him.She called Esha and informed her that she had safely reached hospital.Esha was now assured that she is fine.

The doctor came and asked Riddhima about the family members of the patient.
He also told that the patient lost huge amount of blood and his eyes was damaged very badly.In total, he needed to be operated asap.

Riddhima was totally blank.What would she answer. She knows nothing about him. Suddenly she recalls that a wallet fell down from his pant's pocket while struggling to bring him hospital. She had kept the wallet in her backpack.Taking out the wallet, she saw many debit cards and credit cards. She also got a business card from where she got to know that the name of the stranger was.....

"VANSH RAI SINGHANIA" .....

Riddhima assumed that the stranger would be a bigwig but little did she care about that.Informing his family about his accident was more important to her than thinking about his riches.

The doctor now asked Riddhima to do the advance payment and all the procedures so that they could start the operation as his condition was deteriorating with time.He needed to undergo a surgery real soon.And the advance was 75,000 rupees.Riddhima gasped knowing the amount of money.
Because without having a 500 rupees, she didn't have a single penny with her.How is she gonna pay them such a huge sum? For once she wanted to call Esha but later ignored the thought thinking that she might be having a tough time.

Now the doctors are not going to start the operation until she pays them.What could she do? Not having any other option, Riddhima gave her gold chain and earrings to the receptionist.At first the receptionist was reluctant to take these things as they don't do any take anything except cash and cheque.But after Riddhima's insistence, she agreed to take it.

Riddhima was now asked sign on a bond.
She signed on the bond as the patient's wife because she had no other way.

Riddhima's pov

My hands were trembling as I was signing on the bond.I never thought that I had to face such a day in my life.It was not like that I didn't like helping others.I loved helping others but I felt really lonely at that time.No one was there to guide me whether I was doing right or not.I wanted to call mumma papa and tell them everything but later chucked the idea because it is only going to tense them and nothing else.

Then suddenly she remembered the scene where Vansh was lying on the pool blood.She could understand that there is nothing greater than a person's life and she had to save his life.Then she signed without wasting a single moment.

Vansh was taken to the OT room and the operation got started.Riddhima was waiting for the operation to end.She was praying to God for his well-being. After few hours,the surgery ended and the Doctor came out of the Operation Theater.

Doctor:Mrs.Raisinghania!

Riddhima:Ye.....Yes doctor (she stammered a lil bit because the doctor called her Mrs.Raisinghania)

Doctor:Your husband is out of danger but there is a bad news........................
