Rachael was just done with dressing up for the outing with her friends when her mum came in to let her know that her driver was around.

"You're looking good," her mum complimented her. Rachael was putting on a red, off-shoulder top on black jean trousers. For her jewelries, she decided to go with a gold necklace and bracelet.

"Thanks mum." Rachael turned back to look at herself on the mirror for one last time.
"I should be going now," she told her mum and hugged her before going downstairs. Her dad was watching the news on the television when she walked into the living room.

"I'm guessing you're leaving now," her dad said to her as she walked into the living room.

"Yes dad."

"Alright dear, please take good care of yourself."

"I will," Rachael said and with that, she left the living room and walked outside. She got into the car and said hi to her driver.

"We would be making a stop at two places, I need to pick up my friends," she said to him.

"Alright, just let me know where I would be stopping," he replied and Rachael gave him the location of Rita and Vincent.

The driver made a stop at Rita's place first, since it was closer and in the same estate as Rachael's.

"You look nice," Rita said to Rachael immediately she got into the car and the driver drove off.

"Thanks, you look nice too. I really love those sneakers you're putting on," Rachael said, complimenting Rita who was wearing a black jacket on a yellow top, along with jean trousers and sneakers.

"Thank you. Mum got it for me the last time she went to China," Rita referred to the sneakers.

"That's cool." Rachael nodded.

"Yeah." Rita brought out her phone from her black clutch. "I hope the road would be free of traffic today, don't want to get to the cinema late."

"It's not a working day so I'm thinking it shouldn't be too busy," Rachael said.

"Hopefully," Rita added.

They drove for about fifteen minutes before they got to the estate where the shop of Vincent's mum was located.

"You can stay in the car with the driver while I go in to call him," Rachael said to Rita.

"Alright," Rita agreed and Rachael opened the car and got out. She quickly walked into the shop and saw Vincent's mum at the counter. She walked towards her and got her attention.

"Rachael!" Mrs. Jonathan said her name with so much excitement, since the last time she saw Rachael was at their school's Christmas party the year before.

"Good afternoon ma'am," Rachael greeted her, bending down a little as she did so.

"Good afternoon my daughter. How are you and your parents?" Mrs. Jonathan asked.

"We are all fine," Rachael replied with a small smile.

"Make sure to greet your parents for me when you get back home, Vincent would be out in a few minutes, he went to get some goods from the store room."

"Alright," Rachael said and in a matter of seconds, Vincent came out from an adjoining room with a carton of noodles, he waved at Rachael before going to place the carton of noodles on the it's shelve.

Vincent was putting on a white long sleeve top which hug his bulging biceps perfectly, and black trousers. Rachael wasn't aware that she was staring at him until she heard him speak.

"You look good," he complimented her, bringing her back to the reality of her surrounding. Turning over to his mum, Vincent said, "We need to go now mum."

"Thanks," Rachael replied to his compliment with a blush.

"Make sure you take good care of yourself and your friends okay," Vincent's mum said to him as he started walking towards the door with Rachael.

"Alright mum, I will," he replied before walking side-to-side with Rachael to the car. The driver drove off immediately the two entered the car.

"Hey Rita, nice jacket," Vincent said as he got into the car.

"Thanks, my frenemy," Rita said and went back to her business of scrolling through her phone.

"Ouch!" she flinched when she felt Vincent pinch her on her cheek.

"Sorry, was just checking if your sense of irritability was still intact," Vincent said with a harmless look.

"Seriously? I don't have your time this evening," Rita said and went back to focus on her phone.

The driver drove for another fifteen minutes before stopping at the cinema. Rachael paid their transport fare to the before they got out from the car. They walked inside together and decided to get their snacks for the movie which. Next, they went to get their movie tickets.

"I need to use the bathroom," Rachael said to Rita and Vincent after they had gotten their tickets.

"I can wait for you here while Rita goes in with our snacks to get a good spot for the three of us, since the movie would be starting soon," Vincent suggested

"I totally agree with your suggestion," Rita said and took their snacks before leaving the both of them.

"Wow! Look who is here," a voice which Vincent recognized  came from their back, immediately Rita had left.

"Amaka," Vincent called her name as he and Rachael turned around. She was with her friend Abigail and they were both standing very close to two guys who were looking much older than them.

"I see you are with someone, I'm guessing she also goes to your rich kids school. Is she your girlfriend?" Amaka said with a trace of jealousy.

"You know her?" a confused Rachael asked Vincent.

"Yes I do," he replied.

"You're not going to answer my question?" Amaka queried.

"That's none of your business," Vincent replied calmly, his two hands in his pocket.

"Still rude as always." Amaka sighed.

"I need to go now," Rachael whispered to Vincent and left him to use the bathroom.

"Wow, rude girlfriend too. Walking out from people like that without even introducing herself," Amaka said to a retreating Rachael.

"She doesn't owe you anything," Vincent said, getting frustrated with the drama.

"Of course, bye, we would talk some other time," Amaka said and with that, she left with her friends.

Rachael soon came out from the bathroom after Amaka left, and walked towards Vincent.

"Gosh, your friend was acting so paranoid, and you would have just told her I was not your girlfriend," she said to Vincent.

"Okay, first of all, she was my friend but not any longer and secondly, I didn't reply to her question because I wanted her to get a dose of her own annoyance," Vincent replied.

"You knew her from your former school or what?" Rachael asked.

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"Come on, let's go check in. Rita is waiting and the movie would be starting soon," Vincent said and they both walked over to join the line outside. They showed their tickets to the guy in charge of validating tickets before walking into the large hall. Rita waved at them from a row at the front and they started walking towards her.

They were still walking towards Rita when Vincent noticed the outstretched leg of Amaka who was seated at the edge, he knew  immediately that it was a trap for Rachael to fall into, since she was the one at his front but Rachael who was not suspecting anything and was already very close to the leg, stumbled on it. She knew she was definitely going to land on the floor but Vincent had caught her and prevented her from falling down just in time.

"Thank you," she said to him, still trying to bring her palpitating heart down.

"Why did you do that!" Vincent said angrily to Amaka.

"Oh, I didn't see her coming, was just trying to stretch my tired legs," Amaka blatantly lied.

"That's a lie!" Vincent said to her, raising his voice a little bit.

"Vince, just leave her alone," Rachael intervened, holding his arm and urging him to leave Amaka alone.

Hearing Rachael call him Vince softened him and he walked down with her to meet Rita, leaving Amaka who now had a devilish smile on her face, alone.

"What happened over there?" Rita asked them as they took their seats beside her.

"Just one troublesome girl, but don't worry about her." Vincent waved it off.

"Okay," Rita said and left the matter alone.

They grabbed their snacks as the movie started and drew their attention towards the large screen.

The movie went on for an hour plus before it finally came to an end.

"Wow, I really enjoyed the movie," Rachael said as they walked out of the cinema.

"I told you it was going to be interesting," Vincent reminded her.

"I didn't just know it was going to be this fun," Rachael confessed.

"I'm just happy that they all got to go back to their normal bodies at the end of the movie," Rita said.

"Me too, I can't imagine living in another person's body and more also in a game," Rachael said and looked at her wristwatch.

"I really had a great time tonight, we should do this again," Vincent said with a smile.

"It's almost seven, my driver should be here by now," Rachael worriedly said.

"Just give him some minutes," Vincent said to her and she nodded.

After some minutes, a car pulled up just next to them and they got in. On their way back home, the driver got to Vincent's home first and he said bye to his friends before leaving the car. The driver later dropped Rita before finally taking Rachael to her house.

Rachael opened the door into her home and was met with her mum who was seated in their living room. She quickly noticed the worried look that was plastered on her mum's face.

"Mum, is everything alright?" she asked her mum, going over to sit next to her.

"I need to talk to you dear," her mum said, immediately getting Rachael worried about what could be the matter.
