Tucking me under the duvet
You placed a soft kiss on my forehead
I closed my eyes
Feeling happy at the same time scared

Scared??
Why would i feel scared
I hoped all was well
Little did I know my life was about to be ruined

"I'll see you tomorrow." You said smiling at me.

"Good night." I replied returning the smile.

"Sweet dreams." You said walking out of the door.

Little did I know
You were walking out of my life
Little did I realize
I could never have a sweet dream.

That was the last time
I ever saw you
"I'm over it now right?" I asked my heart.

"We can never be over it until he comes back." My heart replied.

I cried that night
Knowing you can never come back
Little did I know
That was the least I would cry.
