I stared into the alluring darkness
It soothed me in a calm way
It felt nice in an odd way
Nice??
Definitely something bad was coming my way

I could feel it
I could live it
I could hear it
I could dream it

It was bad news and I knew it
I waited patiently for the dreadful news to befall me
Hitting my left foot on the cold floor making
Thud thud thum sound

Bad news was coming
I was supposed to be running
I wonder why I suddenly got brave enough to waiting

I waited and waited
But it never came
Why was it withdrawing itself?
A beautiful question the answer unknown

Now I know the
Alluring darkness held
My dark pain

With that I turned around
Backing the darkness
Knowing we now shared a secret
