Nikki's POV

I laid on the sofa watching The Notebook. Allie was lucky if you think about. I envied her. She knew exactly who she loved. She knew who she wanted...needed and through everything they ended up together. Their love didn't skip one beat. I wanted that. I thought I had it once but looking back now I realise I didn't. Not even close.

"Nikki?" I sat up startled by the voice.

"Briana? How'd you get in here?" She held up a keycard.

"Seth. Are you crying?" I pointed to the tv. She nodded. "You okay though? I know you cried before the movie." I shrugged. I knew she wouldn't buy it. But it never hurt to try. "Why can't you just tell him? You are just hurting yourself and him."

"Really? Him? I'm the one sitting here alone hurting. He was out having breakfast and chatting with you and whoever else. I highly doubt that's signs of hurting."

"Nicole, you know Roman and I are close. He tells me everything and I tell him everything. We know you both like each other. Maybe even love. I don't understand why neither of you take the step."

"Maybe because he doesn't like me."

"He does though."

"I don't believe you."

"Okay. What about you? Don't you like him? After John dumped you who made you feel better? Who begged me to talk to him? Why did you let him stay with you knowing he could easily room with Antonio or Xavier?"

"Bri-"

"Answer them Nicole."

"Fine. You want answers. Seth made me feel better. Just seeing him being near him lifts my mood. And yes I begged you to talk to him because I wanted to see if I could be someone he'd at least give the time of day to. I'm still not sure I am." I hugged onto the pillow looking away. "And I let him stay because I didn't want him to go. But I don't like him."

"Nicole, why?" Why? I looked back at her. Her face full of concern.

"I love him."
