Three Weeks Later

I pulled on my favorite blue romper and white heels. Seth was taking me out on our first date soon and I wanted everything to be perfect.

"You look amazing, Nicole. Don't over think." Brie says walking in. She started doing my hair for me.

"I'm just nervous. Our first date. It feels so crazy. I don't remember feeling like this with John."

"Because this is real." Brie replies simply. I can't help but think she's right. Finding a guy is hard enough. Mistakes and illusions. Finding the right guy is nearly impossible but I just feel Seth is my one. "There. Look in the mirror." I turned to the mirror. My hair was messy but cute...my make up almost non existent. Seth claims he likes me without it. I felt bare. I hope he likes it. He better...

"What do you think? I should cancel right. I'm gon-"

"Cancel on me?" I whipped around nearly falling out the chair. Seth. "I'd be devastated." He wore a button up but nothing extremely fancy. I stood shyly. "You look beautiful." I blush looking away. He was the only one who could make me feel so much at once.

"Thank you. You look great, too...handsome?"

"She's nervous as ever." Brie speaks up. "But ground rules. Have her back by midnight. No funny business either. No time for Neth Bellins babies."

"Brie!" I groan getting more embarrassed by the second. Brie was always like this.

"I'm kidding. But really, have fun. And take care of my twin."

"Thanks Brie." She smiles before pushing us out.

"Details tomorrow." She yells leaving.

"I honestly thought it'd go a lot worse."

"Me too." I admit smiling up at him.

"Oh, Nicole!" Brie was running back.

"Oh no. Run. Run." I grab his hand pulling him behind.

Brie was definitely not getting her hands on my new lover. After all Finding Romance like this comes once in a lifetime.
