Will hummed happily as he walked through the base, heading for the shooting range. Ironhide was busy, or so he thought. he raised an eye brow seeing Ironhide on the shooting range, just parked in his alt mode.

"oh... hey Hide. thought you were busy?" Will ask. the driver side door popped open silently. Will raised an eye brow but shrugged, Ironhide had been acting pretty weird lately. "yeah sure. I'll go for a ride." Will said getting in. immediately the door shut and the truck backed up, leaving the base. "where we going?" Will ask. he didn't get an answer. he frowned slightly and shrugged. "alright, no answer. is it a guessing game?" Will ask. the doors locked and Will looked at them, blinking in surprise. Ironhide never locked the doors. "Ironhide?" Will ask. the seat belt suddenly flew around him and tightened. "H-Hide... thats too tight, I-I can't breathe." Will gasp. the seat belt loosened slightly, but Will still didn't feel safe. "Ironhide let me out." Will said. suddenly, things were changing. the Autobot symbol was replaced with a Decepticon symbol. the Topkick slowly changed into a Jet. "Starscream." Will swallowed.

"stupid human. shut your mouth." Starscream hissed. Will immediately started struggling. he was kick and trying to break free.

"Ironhide! IRONHIDE!!" Will shouted, kicking and struggling with the Jet. "IRONHIDE!!!" Will screamed.

"shut your mouth you stupid human!" Starscream hissed, tightening the straps around Will. Will struggled and pulled the pocket knife from his pocket. his slashed the straps holding him and tried to use the end to break the window, but realized that was a stupid idea. they were flying. the straps tried to wrap around him again, but Will slung the knife around.

"let me out you fucking bastard!" Will shouted. he yelped as Starscream rolled and slammed him against the window. he could see Ironhide, Optimus, Bumblebee, Hound, Ratchet, and Jazz chasing them. "let me go!" Will hissed.

the Autobots chased Starscream as fast as they could. the Jet started acting crazy. loosing altitude and spinning around.

"somethings wrong with him. he's gonna crash." Ratchet said.

"Will's probably not making being kidnapped very easy." Optimus said.

"its not something he really enjoys." Ironhide grumbled. he started firing at the Jet.

Will beat on the window.

"Ironhide!" Will shouted.

"stupid Autobots." Starscream grumbled, shooting at them. Will was kicking things lose, yelling and screaming things at Starscream, and breaking different things apart. Starscream growled rolling and tossing Will around the cabin. "sit down you stupid human!" he growled.

"let me go!" Will shouted, kicking the steering wheel. they jerked to the side and Will got an idea. he quickly grabbed hold of it and started kicking and pulling.

"let go you stupid human!" Starscream hissed. he shouted angrily when the steering Wheeljack flying off. Will threw it hard through the window. immediately Starscream transformed, his hand tightening around Will hard. Will yelped and struggled.

"let go! Ironhide!" Will shouted struggling. they transformed and stared at the Decepticon. Will kicked and struggled, trying to pull his arms free. "let me go you stupid tin can! let go! I can't breathe!" Will shouted.

"stop! let him go!" Ironhide hissed, cannons spinning.

"he's crushing him!" Ratchet hissed. Will was turning colors, blood was pouring from his mouth. he was covered in cuts and bruises. Ironhide lost it. he roared angrily and tackled Starscream, knocking Will free and sending him tumbling across the ground. Ironhide punched Starscream hard in the face, angrily. Ratchet rushed over to Will, the man didn't move. he was covered in blood and his breathing was ragged.

"Will?" Ratchet ask. he whimpered quietly and the medic scooped him up gently. "its alright." Ratchet soothed gently. he winced slightly, seeing the knife in Wills side. Barricade came flying out of no where and slammed into Ratchet, throwing Will into his back seat and taking off. Bumblebee was quick to transform and follow him angrily, Hound not far behind. Ratchet sat up and shook his head.

"what do they even want Will for?" Ratchet muttered as Optimus helped him up.

"not sure, but I positive it has something to do with him and Ironhide." Optimus said. Ratchet nodded slightly, that would make sense. Ironhide had Starscreams arms pinned down, cannon pointing at his face.

"what do you want with Will?" Ironhide growled. Starscream glared and struggled. Ironhide fired the cannon in his face and the con got still. immediately Ironhide transformed and took off after the other three. Ratchet absentmindedly checked Starscream as they passed. his spark was extinguished and his head was gone. Ironhide was pissed and Barricade wasn't going to stand a chance if the mech got his servo's on him. Ratchet and Optimus quickly transformed and followed Ironhide.

Barricade tried everything he could to lose the two trailing him.

"stop bleeding all over me." Barricade growled. Will groaned lowly strapped into the backseat.

"he's heading towards the Autobot base."

Bumblebee announced loudly.

"why on Earth would he go that way?"

Optimus ask. he didn't get a reply.

Barricade raced towards the base. he couldn't explain anything to them, they wouldn't understand. they couldn't understand. even Decepticon's had an honor code. suddenly Ironhide slammed into his side.

"stop it! you stupid Autobot you're going to hurt him!" Barricade hissed.

"let him go Barricade!" Ironhide growled.

"I'm trying to help!" Barricade hissed. suddenly Ironhide grabbed onto his tail end and held him in place, his back tires spinning. "what part of I'm trying to help don't you understand! Megatron is on his way for this human you idiot!" Barricade hissed. Ironhide ripped his back door off and pulled Will out, holding him gently.

"leave'im alone." Will managed quietly. Ironhide immediately let go of Barricade, his cannon spinning and pointing at him. Barricade transformed.

"stop it!" Barricade hissed.

"what do you want with Will?" Ironhide ask, the other Autobots transforming behind him.

"to keep him way from Megatron." Barricade admitted. that surprised them all.

"why?" Bumblebee ask.

"I owe him. he saved my life and I owe him. I might be a Decepticon but even we have a code of honor." Barricade hissed. Ironhide's cannon stopped spinning and returned to it's normal position. he snarled at the Con, cradling Will in his arm gently, not caring the blood was going to make him rust.

"Autobots, fall back." Optimus ordered. Ironhide quickly passed Will to Ratchet and followed the medic quickly to the base. Will groaned lowly. Ironhide followed the medic, keeping his distance. he waited silently outside the medbay. "Ironhide." Optimus said. he turned around.

"Prime." he nodded.

"we need to talk. this is getting out of hand." Optimus said. Ironhide raised an optic ridge, but followed the Prime to his office.

Ratchet worked on Will carefully. he wasn't as bad as he looked and with a little help from Wheeljack, they finished working on him quickly. Will groaned lowly and sat up.

"Will are you alright?" Ratchet ask. he nodded weakly, holding his side. "I've commed Ironhide to take you to get a shower. you're very bloody." Ratchet said.

"okay." Will murmured. he sat dizzily on the berth. Ironhide stormed in, looking pissed. he scooped Will up and headed for the human showers.

"those are down. thats why I commed you. human showers are down due to an incident when Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. you'll have to take him to use the wash racks." Ratchet said. Ironhide nodded and turned to go to the wash racks. he carried Will, the mans shirt had already been removed by the medic so they could work on him. Will tossed his pants to the floor and muttered. Ironhide was covered in as much blood as Will.

"you're angry." Will mumbled.

"yeah. Prime knows. he's not happy. say's you were almost kidnapped as a way to get an upper hand on us." Ironhide said. Will huffed slightly as Ironhide turned on the water.

"yeah right. we discussed that with each other. should anything happen, we're not anything but a guardian and charge." Will muttered.

"thats what I said but he's not happy. I left his office. I didn't care. told him to stay the frag out of it." Ironhide said. Will nodded slightly, leaning dizzily against his chest plates. Ironhide gently used his thumb to wipe blood from Wills face, the man pulled away.

"that hurts stop it." he muttered. Ironhide's holoform appeared and gently cleaned up the man. he dressed him and carried him back out to the medbay.

"he's good to take back to your room. he's gonna be sore, just let him sleep for a bit." Ratchet said. Ironhide nodded slightly and carried him towards his room. he shot Optimus a dirty look and shoved passed him.

"fuck off Prime." Ironhide glared and carried Will off. he laid down on his berth, Will on his chest plates.

"do we have to...?" Will trailed tiredly.

"no. I already told Prime to stay the fuck out of it." Ironhide said. Will nodded and cuddled closer.

"okay." he murmured, curling up. Ironhide warmed his chest plates gently and held him.

"just rest Will." Ironhide murmured. the man curled up and fell asleep. Ironhide held him gently. Optimus nor the Decepticons would end this. it was the best thing to happen to Ironhide since the war started and he wasn't going to let them end it.
