I had to be back at the theater with Kelly in the practice room the next day I chose my next song. Kelly said we were going to be working on keeping the space in my mouth open to keep good sound and volume. We started with warm ups too. Kelly said that she needed to introduce warm ups to me so we could practiced them every day from now on before I practiced a song. Kelly and I did three warm ups then we practiced my next song for Friday night for about four hours with a thirty minute break and an hour lunch break.

This is the lunch break conversation.

"So how are you and your friends liking L.A?"
Kelly asked
"We love it, there's so much to do and see... but I miss my family"
"Your family being Cody?"
"Cody, my dad, and my uncle"
"Your uncle's the chef guy right?"
"Yeah that's him"
"They love you and will be cheering for you"
"I know but I wish Cody could be here."

Kelly and I went back to practice. I don't want to win American idol for myself anymore... I want to win for my family. Later that night when my team and I were back at the hotel I checked my phone for any messages. I saw Cody had texted he can't come to L.A next week but he wanted to know if I could come to Miami. I texted back saying I would find out soon. As I started shutting down for the night I thought about what might happen on Friday. I want America to love the song that I'm doing and I want them love me. I fell asleep fantasizing me at the finale with Cody, dad and my team there watching me win it all. I knew I would definitely be ready for Friday, and no matter what, I was determined to go and do my best.
