Chapter Seventy-Three

Fred and George were standing in the kitchen of their flat above the shop, debating whether or not to go down to the Leaky Cauldron for dinner when they were startled by a loud crack that came from the living room.

They quickly headed into the living room where they saw their mother standing in the middle, her eyes wide with worry.

"Come on! We've got to head back to the Burrow!" She shouted urgently.

"What's going on?" Fred asked confused.

"What happened?" George asked as well.

"I will explain when we get there but get to the Burrow as quickly as you can." She shouted before apparating back to the Burrow.

The twins shared a nervous look between each other, before following their mother.

"What's going on, Mum?" George asked the second they arrived to see their mother already pacing across the kitchen floor nervously.

"The whole Order was called. I don't know what for, but I believe they all reported to Hogwarts."

"What!" The twins shouted in unison.

"I don't know much about it all, I didn't get much information. We just need to wait and see what will happen."

"Well, mum. Maybe we should go as well, they might need us!" Fred asked.

"Not a chance," Molly shouted, her hands on her hips while her foot tapped nervously on the floor. "Already too many of my children are there already, there's no way that I'm letting you two go to."

"But-"

"No. I'm not letting either of you go, that is my final word."

Fred and George sat at the kitchen table in silence, while Molly cooked something in the kitchen, once she had heard that the twins hadn't had dinner, she immediately sprang into action.

Fleur Delacour arrived not much later after the twins. She was in hysterics, crying about how she wished Bill would be alright. However, after the Weasley family was being not very fond of her, Fleur soon took herself off the living room to cry by herself.

However, it didn't take very long for another unexpected member to arrive at the Burrow. The loud crack that had alerted the people inside to the new arrival had echoed around the house causing most to get up and see who it was.

"Elliot?" Mrs. Weasley asked upon seeing the boy. "What are you doing here? Has anything happened? Do you know anything else?"

"Woah." Elliot breathed. "Everything is mostly okay for the time being but do you want to talk inside?"

"Of course, of course." Mrs. Weasley said, letting Elliot into the Burrow.

George's eyes narrowed slightly in jealously upon seeing Elliot but tried his best to cover it up. Fred also glared in Elliot's direction knowing that he was the full cause of his twin's unhappiness.

"So, Elliot have you heard much more?" Mrs. Weasley prompted, obviously unable to bear the suspense any longer.

"Unfortunately I don't have too much more information. All I really know is that Dumbledore believed that Death Eaters would enter the castle which is why the Order was called. From what I've heard Thea and Tonks were the first ones there because they were already stationed in Hogsmeade patrolling but now there are Order members as well as Aurors-"

"Then why aren't you there?" Fred asked Elliot hotly.

"Because technically I'm not supposed to do anything Auror related or even step into the office until I get my results back. We are currently in that awful period where we aren't training Aurors but we aren't actual Aurors either."

"But why is Thea there then?" George asked.

"Well, technically she and Tonks broke the rules this morning. Somehow they managed to get Thea to be allowed to patrol with Tonks and I suppose after all she is an Order member."

"She is?" The twins asked in unison.

"Yeah, she became one shortly after Sirius died."

"How did we not know about this?" Fred asked, their mother.

"You never asked."

"You didn't' tell us!" George exclaimed.

"Who are you?" Came a voice from the corner of the kitchen. It was Fleur who had come out to see what all the loudness was about. "Do you know anything about zee Hogwarts thing, is Bill injured?"

"Okay, let's start with one question at a time," Elliot said. "I'm Elliot, I'm a friend of Thea's who I believe you have met."

"Sure, that's all you are," George muttered.

"Oh. I'm sorry, did you say something?" Elliot asked George.

"I said nothing."

"Ok, then."

Tonks and Thea walked through the corridors of Hogwarts, wands drawn, eyes scanning the walls. As they passed the next corridor, Thea could feel her head turning without her permission, her feet trying to take her down that corridor. She knew what was down there, her hiding place where she had spent a great chunk of her seventh year. Although her feet were taking her down that way anyway, she had a feeling in her stomach, an instinct.

"Thea?" Tonks whispered, trying not to give their position away. "What are doing?"

"Trust me," Thea whispered back.

The two women continued down the corridor as they had previously, Thea's eyes did briefly flicker towards her hiding place as they passed it, still mostly hidden by the enchantments she had placed on it nearly two years ago. But her attention was suddenly placed on the sound of yelling and the flashes of curses illuminating the end of the corridor.

Thea and Tonks shared a look before both running down the corridor and arriving head first into the fight.
