"Just leave me alone." I blurted out the words. Paul was terrified. I stormed at him and left the class room. I could feel his stares.
The unending problems at home, my mom's sorrows had made me increasingly frustrated these days. Paul has been my friends from day one of lower kindergarten. We get into petty fights but never had I stormed at him.
What was happening to me?

I got into the car and slammed the doors. I sped past the wet school playground. My car sped past other vehicles on the road. I was driving extremely fast.
What the hell was happening to me.

Suddenly my senses became very sharp I started perceiving the minute sounds. I could hear my heart beat . It felt as if my heart would beat me to death.
Well was I having fever? I felt as if the body was in a grinder, smashing my bones into pieces .

I gave out a shrill cry. I forced my legs on the brakes and the car came to halt with a scratching sound. I got out of the car not bothering to close the doors.

I was on the ground. Heat came down my spine.

And I knew that I was no longer normal............
I was still on the ground twitching with pain. At that point, death seemed to be a succour .
What on earth was this?

My eyes were sealed and I dare not open them, the pain was so severe.

The pain subsided after what appeared to be an hour, time was not something to be kept track of ; in the dire condition ;pain and the agony was all I knew. Slowly I opened my eyes. The view of the evening sky was blurred with tears .

I stood up; not on two rather on four limbs. I looked down and my body had transformed into a ball of fur. Well this is obviously a dream, all this is not real.

While I debated with myself, I heard a rustle from the bush. I turned to find a fully grown wolf with a black coat. It was coming closer to me. I took a step back. Then I lifted my aching knees reluctantly. I tried running from that horrible creature.
But my limbs gave way and I crashed with a tree trunk due to poor balance.
Damn! Wetness on my head.
Someone was there near me, I could feel heat around me. Exhaustion, pain had left me numb leaving me incapable thinking. So I left myself drift into a dreamless sleep. .....

So Jared has finally shifted into a wolf.
