Kim's Pov

I was moving towards my class when I saw Jared. So he was all right and fine. It had been weeks since I last saw him. he was standing by his locker looking with his back towards me. I quickly tried to pass him. He took a turn and collided with me. I was TOO ASHAMED TO LOOK AT HIM SO I sat on my knees trying to pick up my belongings.

Why was it that our meeting was always a tragic and embarrassing one. Why should I be a fool in front of him all the time? Why the heck had it to be like this all the time.

I wished that he would leave soon, that was his usual attitude. But it was a bit different this time. I could see through my hair, he was on his knees, trying to pick up my books and that's when his hands slightly touched mine. Looking up, my eyes found his. He was looking at me. His eyes glistened with a strange emotion. He kept looking at me with that strange expression. I wanted to look down and move away but a strange bond restrained me from doing so. I kept looking at him. All this was a fairytale for me, too strange to accept. His hands were still on mine.

My hair fell suddenly onto my face blocking his view. I was about to take this as a cue to get up and leave. But something really unexpected happened. His hands slighted touched my hair, moving the strands from my face and tucking it behind my ears. My heart beat increased drastically, my legs were shaking. I could not bear it anymore. I gave a slap on his hand, but due to excitement, the slap was much harder than I had expected to give. I got up quickly and left.

I was soon in the classroom. Our biology teacher had already entered the class. I settled myself on a seat next to Venessa. If I were not in a class and if this was not a school with dozens of students frolicking around, I would definitely have rushed and screamed.

I was about to drink water when Jared appeared in the classroom. Why the hell was he in the class? Was he here to take revenge for the slap I had provided him with. But no, our teacher was in the class. He would not probably hit me. But he kept looking at me oblivious to the calls of the teacher.

He should be in his classroom. Finally, he heard the teacher's call and left the classroom after giving a weak nod. What the heck was happening to him.

Jared's Pov

"Why the heck should I come to the library?" I asked Paul.

" 'Cause you are my friend." He replied cheerfully. I rolled my eyes.

" You have got your soul mate and imprinted. But what about me. I need to find one for myself. So let's go to the library." Paul said

" But she might not want me the way I want her. Or even worse, she must be having someone else in her mind. Girls would go to the graveyard more frequently than to the library. Also, this is not the exam season." I replied.

" Look, if there is a place girls go to frequently then it is the library. They get to add their lip gloss and mascara. " Paul said confidently.

" And what the hell is the washroom for?" I asked.

" A senior lady staff is found in the ladies washroom all the time. So girls have chosen the library to get their patch up done." He smiled brightly. I gave him a questioning look.

" OK! I got all this information from a girl in our gym class. I was just randomly eavesdropping." Paul finished and I reluctantly followed him to the library. He was right, Girls were there to do makeup and stuff. We also saw a couple behind a book.

I turned my gaze to see Kim and she was leaving the library. I looked at her. A book slipped from her bag and fell on the ground. I picked it up. It was her diary. The last page of her diary contained my name along with hers. Hell, she had something for me.

I hid the diary in my bag as Paul came over to me. He was upset.

" Found your soulmate? " I mockingly asked.

" Shut up! " Paul roared. I smiled and left the library.
