[Ashton's POV]

Oh my god I can't believe that just happened! I thought that Luke was straight so I was not expecting things to go that way. When he kissed me I got the chills and it felt amazing. His soft, perfect warm lips against mine. It was amazing and I wish it could happen again. If he likes me then should I ask him out? Or is it too soon? I'm sure he's not even out of the closet yet so I'll just keep it in the down low. It's Sunday now and I really don't want to go back to school tomorrow. I'm afraid things will be awkward between us. Suddenly I get a text from him.
Luke: "Hey what are you doing?"
Ashton: "Nothing just watching tv."
Luke: "Do you want to come over?"
Ashton:"Sure I'll be over in a few minutes."
Luke:"Ok see you then."
I was scared to go over to his house because I'm afraid he will call the other night a mistake. I really don't want it to be a mistake. I get there and he opens the door before I could even knock on the door. He grabs my arm and pulls me inside.
"Hey! How are you?" He says really excited.
"I'm good. So why did you invite me over?" I was confused.
"I wanted to talk about the other night." Shit I was afraid he would talk about this.
"What about it?"
"I can't get the kiss out of my head. Not in a bad way it's just I keep thinking about it and how much I like you. I wanted to know if you'd want to go on a date soon." I was surprised and full of joy.
"Sure I'm what day?" I couldn't help but smile.
"How about Tuesday after school?"
"Sure!" I was overjoyed until I got a text from my mom to get home. "Hey I got to go. My mom is calling me but I'll see you tomorrow." I saw him get a little sad but he gave me a fake smile . "Ok bye." He waved and closed the door behind me.

When I got home went straight to my mom and told her I was gay and that I was going on a date with Luke on Tuesday. You could tell she was a little disappointed but she put on a smile and told me she supported me. I went to my room and started looking for an outfit for the date. I've never been on a date before so I'm really nervous. What if I do something wrong? Would he still like me? I'm sure he will he seems like a really nice person.

The next morning I wake up and walk to the corner of the street where me and Calum meet to walk to school. I turn the corner and sure enough there he is.
"Hey." He gave me a weird look when saying it.
"Hi. Um is there something wrong?" He stops walking and looks at me.
"The other night at Luke's house I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed you two gone. I went into the living room to see if you were there but when I looked outside i saw you two.. kissing." I was caught off guard and didn't know what to say.
"Uh sorry it's complicated we just went outside to talk without waking you guys up but th-" I tried to explain but he interrupts me.
"Why didn't you tell me you were gay? We have been friends our whole life and I thought you trust me with everything."
"Is that what you are mad about? Calum I do trust you it's just that I didn't want you to treat me different."
"I would never treat you different! You are like my brother and I would never leave you because of your love life."
We hug and make up and then continue our conversation.
"Hey so are you two dating now?"
"No. Not yet but we are going on a date tomorrow after school." I got a little sad when realizing that I can't say I'm dating him yet.
"Oh. Well what was it like kissing him? Did you enjoy it?" He gave me a little nudge.
"It felt amazing! His lips were soft and when our lips met it was like fireworks. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true and even though we've only known each other for a few weeks now, I still feel like we have something." He just smiles and laughs under his breath. We get to school and Michael is waiting for us by the door. Meh sees us and runs to us.
"Hey what took you guys so long?" Calum looks at me and hesitates before answering.
"Sorry I was running behind. I didn't hear my alarm." I was relieved that he didn't tell Michael what he saw. I left them alone and went to my classes.

At lunch we all get our food and sit at the table. Luke and Jacob show up a few minutes later and I'm afraid to see if he treats me different around our friends.
"Hey" he pulls me into a hug. Yup he treats me the same and that makes me even more happy. I return the hug and then we sit down.
"Hey how are you?"
"I'm good. I dreaded coming to school today but I'm here now." He said showing his cute smile. I just wish it was time for our date but we still have to wait another day.
"Dude Friday night was so much fun! We need to do that again sometime Luke!" Michael interrupts our conversation.
"Ok maybe this weekend we can do it again or something." He says with a smirk.
"Hey Jacob do you want to come with me to go get a juice?" Calum asks while getting up from the table.
"Sure I'll get some food while we're there." They get up and walk away. I thought it was weird that he asked Jacob to go with him but I just ignored it. I just sit there and listen to Luke and Michael's conversation. Calum and Jacob come back and Jacob has a worried look on his face. He looks at me but quickly looks away. Shit I can tell he knows something. I look over to Calum but he is avoiding my gaze. The bell rings and me and Luke walk to Biology together.
"Hey did you tell Jacob about what happened Friday?" I was worried.
"No, he knows that I like you but he doesn't know we kissed." I was relieved but still a little confused.
"Hmm cuz he was looking at me weird at lunch today. Like he had a worried or sad looking face. I don't know it was weird."
"Well I didn't say anything so I'm sure it's nothing." I hope what he says is true.

After school me and Calum walk back home and I'm just so curious so I can't help but ask him.
"Hey Calum so why did you ask Jacob to go with you to get a drink at lunch?"
"Oh.. Umm just because." I could see he was lying. I stopped walking and gave him a serious look.
"Fine I told him about what I saw." My heart sank when he said this.
"Calum! Why did you do that? You weren't even supposed to know yourself so why would you tell him? Luke didn't tell him about it so clearly he didn't want Jacob knowing. Calum looked down with guilt.
"Look I'm sorry I needed to talk about it with someone and I couldn't tell Michael so I told Jacob. I'm really sorry I know it wasn't my place to tell people but I promise not to tell anyone else." I was a little angry but I just said bye and went into my house. I wonder if Jacob will confront Luke about it? Dear god I hope things don't go wrong.
