My mother and I made a trip into the town, to get things I would need more my wedding to Ra's. The rings were bought by Ra's after we had picked them out, since he had to get his sized. The next item was a silk dress. I was used to wearing a top and leggings with my boots, and while I knew what modern clothes looked like, my mother wanted me to be traditional as possible, and I could not argue with her. Ra's and I had both agreed to wear traditional clothes for the wedding, and I went shopping for a beautiful silk dress, and matching slippers.

"What about a blue dress?"

"Okay, I do like the light blue one. It is very beautiful."

"I think Ra's will love you in it, Virginia. You are going to make a very beautiful bride."

"Thank you, Mother."

We bought the dress and slippers, as well as jade combs for my long black hair. I wanted to look beautiful for Ra's on our wedding day. I had received many odd looks over the fact that I had agreed to marry a man I barely knew, but it was the same way with Ling. I just knew Ra's would take better care of me. We really hadn't gotten to talk much since he appeared in my doorway, and it was spring now, so the weather wasn't cold like it had once been, so as soon as I returned home, we could be hiking up to the pool where we first met to swim and talk for a while. I was excited to say the least.
I returned home with my mother and put my things away. I changed, and once I was done, there he was standing in the middle of my house waiting for me.
"Ginny, you look lovely."
"Thank you Ra's."
"Are you ready to go?"
I nodded, and took the hand he offered and we began our climb up the mountain. It did not take a very long time to get where we were going. Ra's moved at an extremely fast pace, and he ended up just carrying me the rest of the way, because I was having trouble keeping up. I laughed as he put me on his back and he just smiled.

We soon reached the pool, and Ra's set me down, and I took off my shoes, and overdress, and dove into the cool water. Ra's dove in shortly after me, and we had a good time just enjoying each other's company. We really didn't talk much at first, but soon the conversation turned to things we needed to talk about before we got married.
"Ra's why did you pick me?"

"Because you're amazing and beautiful."

I smiled as I blushed.

"Thank you. Do you want children?"

"Yes I do."

I smiled as Ra's put his arms around my waist. He began kissing down my neck. I knew what he wanted, but he was going to have to wait.

"Ra's...You are going to have to stop that...Until Friday."

I heard him sigh, but soon pressed a kiss to my forehead, and he smiled.

"Very well, Ginny. I can wait another day."

I smiled, as I got used to how it felt to be held by Ra's.
We were married the next day and soon he took me up to his home on the mountain. I was his wife, and I knew my job wasn't going to be an easy one, but it would be worth it and extremely rewarding. That was two years ago and we have come a long way since then, but our story is far from over. Just wait and see.
