❅ Chapter Twenty-Seven ❅

Risa woke up the next morning, she knew she had to start looking for a job if she was going to stay here in Paris. She also needed to get her apartment and she couldn't do that without any money. She didn't want to rely on Stella or Rolando to keep buying things for her, she wanted to earn them herself. There was just something different about earning money for yourself. She wanted to experience that.

As she made her way around Paris, asking if anyone needed hiring, so far, every place she had gone said they weren't hiring anyone. It was discouraging, to say the least. She had gotten her hopes up way too high only to have them crash down around her. Perhaps she might have been a little too melodramatic. She did know with no family or prior experience, it was hard to find a job. Plus, living in a hotel didn't help.

She didn't make any progress as the day went on and it was getting lunchtime, she was beginning to get hungry. Her stomach grumbled and she sighed, looking around her eyes laid on the Café Of Group Social which had come into view. "Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to see if they are hiring." She wouldn't use Stella's name since she was a regular here, she had to do this herself. This was all on her, she needed to learn how to be an adult and handle things for herself.

She stopped and looked in one of the windows that a curtain was covering so light couldn't get in. She took a deep breath, smoothed down the front of her dress. She needed to look presentable. She smoothed down a few stray hairs and then unbuttoned her coat. She took a deep breath and smiled brightly.

She paused with her hand on the handle and took another deep breath and closed her eyes as she collected herself. "You can do it. Just answer the questions honestly. Be true to yourself. Do not give them too much information or too little information either." She tried to give herself a pep talk. She was nervous because so far she had been turned down and she didn't want to use Stella as a last resort.

She smiled and pivoted on her feet walking inside the building. It was a bit busy and they looked like they could use some more help. There seemed to be only three people working here, one taking orders, one serving orders, and one cooking. There may have been another one back there but Risa couldn't see or hear them.

She sat up on the barstool and placed her purse in her lap. She pursed her lips and waited for the girl who was waiting on people to notice she was here. She felt a little nervous since this could be her first job ever. Her fingers ran over the pearl handle of her purse, which seemed to help her calm down.

Quintessa Dimka turned around as her brown eyes looked straight at Risa. She ran a hand through her black hair and walked over pulling out a notepad and a pencil. "Hello, welcome to the Café of Group Social. What can I get ya?" She smiled, she didn't have a Parisian accent at all, but a southern Louisiana drawl.

Risa figured she would think she was merely just a customer. She had to quickly correct her. "Oh, no, I am not here to order anything. I was wondering about a job? Is there an opening or something I could apply for?" She asked hopefully, not trying to get her hopes up. She had gone over what she would say and that was not what she had planned.

Tessa folded up the notepad and stuffed it back in her pocket. She tucked the pencil behind her ear and crossed her arms. "Hmm," She mused, tapping her index finger on her arm. "We are a bit short-staffed at the moment. So a new employee would help a great deal." It wouldn't be so bad to hire a new employee.

Risa's eyes lit up. She was hopeful again at her words. If they needed some more help she would be more than happy to start.  "So does that mean I can have the job?" Her voice was optimistic as she leaned forward. Could this be the answer to her prayers? Could she start right away? She wouldn't mind that.

Tessa raised her eyebrows and gave an amused smile. She was quite optimistic about having this job. "I can't give a job to you unless I interview you first." She was sure she knew that. She must have been down in the dumps about being turned down since she knew no one was hiring at this time. "I'm Tessa Dimka by the way." She introduced herself, giving a simple nod.

Risa nodded, a little embarrassed she didn't realize that you needed to have an interview before you got a job. How hard could an interview go? Just some simple questions right? She didn't quite know what it entailed but she was sure it would be fine. "I can do the interview. I need this job. Oh, and I am Risa." She extended her hand to the girl for her to shake it.

Tessa hesitated a few seconds before reaching out her hand and shook her hand firmly before letting it go. "Risa? Hmm, nice name. Is it by chance short for anything? Most people have a nickname or something because they don't like their name or it is easier to remember or pronounce." She could tell Risa was nervous so she could lighten the mood a bit.

Risa gave a sheepish look rubbing the back of her neck. "It is just Risa. It's not short for anything and even if it was I wouldn't know." She replied, chewing on the inside of her lip. "And is your name short for something?" She asked wanting to move away from the names so she would get the interview started. She was antsy about it.

Tessa was quite amused by how Risa reacted. It seemed like either she didn't want to say her full name or she didn't have one. She couldn't see how it was the latter. That would mean she was orphaned or a fugitive. "It's short for Quintessa. I was never much of a fan of that name, but my grandmother picked it out for my mother." She paused and shook her head. "Anyway, let's go on with this interview?"

She pulled out a little book from under the counter and opened it up. "Risa, have you had work prior?" She asked, knowing most, even children, had work to do. Whether it was chores or working for a family business. Back where she was from she had a lot of work but was glad to finally be able to try and shoot for her dream. It was a blessing for her to be here.

Risa knew these answers were not going to be in her favor. "Not necessarily. Back home, I did help occasionally with looking after children. Although I didn't get paid for it and it was more or so because Mrs. Hemmingworth made me . . .'' She trailed off. Tessa hadn't asked for a surname and she knew that being an orphan would automatically mean she wouldn't get the job. So she wanted to avoid that at all costs.

Tessa blinked a few times, quite stunned by what the girl had said. "Who is Mrs. Hemmingworth and looking after children? Like a nanny or something?" This was a first for her. She hadn't ever heard of a nanny, if she was one, come looking for a job at a café. Could she have been fired? That would be the only reason she could think about.

Risa knew she would probably never get this job so why not keep on talking and digging herself a hole. She might as well be honest and just accept whatever happens. "The lady who owned the orphanage I lived at. And no, not a nanny, they were other orphan kids and since I was older than most I had a little more responsibility than most. Besides, I was the only dependable one." She looked down at her lap, preparing herself for what came next.

Tessa nodded and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. "Alright. So that answers that question. You have no experience whatsoever working." That wasn't what she wanted to hear. That did make things a little hard considering no orphan had been hired there for a job like this. Yet again they were needing staff and she was wanting the job. "Now, what makes you think you should have this job?"

Risa played with the buttons on her coat while thinking about what to say. "I won't be prideful or anything because I don't have any prior experience. I have been having a bad day with other jobs and this is my last resort. However, I am a hard worker, very dedicated and friendly." She sheepishly replied, trying to keep everything as simple as she could. She didn't want to look like she was bragging.

That wasn't quite what Tessa had wanted to hear but she supposed it would do. It was better than most gave. So she couldn't complain. "Good to know you're dedicated to things you set your mind to. Now, are you good with listening to people, accommodating whatever they wish to make them happy no matter the task?" She asked, tapping the pencil on her cheek.

Risa had never really given it much thought. She supposed she could be good at those things. At times she did have a bit of a temper and was a bit stubborn but she was working on it. "I am good at listening, although I am more of the talking type. I can make people happy, I have always wanted to do that, and I will do the best I can. Now I won't do outlandish tasks, but I will do my best to honor what they ask." She admitted sheepishly, not knowing if these answers would be in her favor.

Tessa found that a good answer. She loved to talk and had a hard time listening to people. Though thanks to this job she had done better. "Do you have a good memory? You won't always have a pencil and paper on hand to take orders. You must have your method to memorize things." She had her method and it wouldn't work for most people but it worked for her.

Risa didn't know how to put it into words. It never really crossed her mind having to memorize things. "I suppose it is alright? When I was a child I did have amnesia due to a trauma I had. That hasn't affected my memory, although I have a lot that goes on in my mind now and I often get sidetracked - I won't forget the pencil and paper, I promise." She rambled on then got herself back on track with reddened cheeks.

Tessa slowly nodded as she listened to her speak. She knew you couldn't promise such a thing since everyone from time to time forgot about something. Like most people, they always ended up not having a pen or pencil because they lost it, forgot to grab it or the lead broke. "Do you have a place to stay? A mailing address?" She asked, looking up at her.

Risa shook her head but then realized she needed to clarify what she meant. "Not yet, I will begin to look for apartments very soon. I am currently staying at a hotel, paid for by a friend. It's hard to get an apartment with no money." She replied hoping that didn't make it harder for her to get a job. She figured it might have and began to realize she might have gotten her hopes up too high.

Tessa nodded pursing her lips. That was one factor that prohibited most from getting a job if they desperately needed one. "I suppose I can give you your payment in person until you get an apartment and I am sure your boss won't mind. You seem quite dependable and dress well." She mumbled to herself, tapping her fingers on the counter. "Let me go speak with my boss for a moment." She tossed the book back under the counter and disappeared behind the swinging door.

She soon came back out after having taken off her apron, pulled on her coat, and grabbed her purse. "You are hired starting tomorrow. Arrive at five am sharp. Boss doesn't like tardy people unless you have a good reason for being late." She told her, walking from behind the counter just as someone else who was taking her place came in.

Risa was shocked. She had gotten the job. Tomorrow she will officially have a job! Oh, how wonderful was that She! She jumped up and abruptly hugged the girl. "Thank you so much, you won't regret it!" She squealed happily. Those in the café all turned to look at the sudden outburst only to shake their heads.

Tessa was taken by surprise by her sudden hug and pushed Risa away. She was not a hugger and she did not like all eyes being turned to her either. "I'm not the one you should be thanking. It isn't me who hires and fires people. That would be my - and soon your - boss." She explained, walking towards the door.

Risa followed beside her stepping way out of her comfort zone. She saw a potential friend in Tessa and was going to shoot for it. "You're not from Paris, are you? You don't have a French accent and it sounds American." She hoped she was not bugging the girl. She was just curious. Curiosity had gotten the better of her and she had nothing else better to do.

Tessa, once outside, stopped and crossed her arms. "No, I am not from Paris. I am from America. More precisely, New Orleans, Louisiana, which is as down south as you can get. I know how to speak French, however, it is a bit tricky to not fall into Louisiana French." She replied, not annoyed or anything with Risa, just a bit confused on why she was asking so much.

Risa had never met an American before, well, personally that was, in passing yes but talking to one like this, no. "Oh, wow Why! I've never met an American before. Why did you come to Paris? I'm not meaning to pry. I am just curious why others come here." She asked if her cheeks were a bit red.

Tessa gave an amused smile. She was one to ask a billion questions, wasn't she? "Oh, no, you're certainly not prying. When I was young, I decided to come to Paris to pursue my dream as a fashion designer. I had always had a knack for fashion and even sewed my clothes as a child." She had a little pride and sparkle in her eyes at what she had said.

Risa didn't understand why she had to come to Paris for that. Didn't she have that opportunity in America? From the look of things, she didn't. But why? "Why did you have to come to Paris to be a fashion designer? Couldn't you do that in America?" She asked, stuffing her hands in her pockets.

Tessa sighed gently. "Frankly, Southern America isn't the nicest when it comes to people like myself. Paris is the fashion capital of the world and everyone here is so accepting and isn't judgmental or rude for who you are." She replied. She felt more at home here than back in Louisiana. "Now tell me why are you here? You're not from here either."

Risa could get the gist that America wasn't all it's cracked up to be. Of course, she did not know their history. "Ah, Paris is a very friendly city." She knew it was obvious she wasn't from here. "I'm from Frontrance, Canada. 100% Canadian which I am proud of because Canada is a great place." She replied with a smile.

Tessa could tell Risa was a nice girl and as she began to walk she motioned for Risa to come with her. "I see. What brings you to Paris?" She asked, pulling on her hat. It was her turn to ask the questions and get a better feel about who this girl was. She seemed nice but very outspoken.

Risa was getting better at having no trouble expressing what had happened for her to be here. "I am following a lead on finding my family. A lot has happened since I came here and before I came here. It is a rather long story." She explained, pursing her lips afterward. She shouldn't be embarrassed for being an orphan. It wasn't her choice.

Tessa smiled softly. She had the time to listen and besides she was curious about what Risa had meant. "Please, tell me the story. I have plenty of time for you to tell me. I don't have any plans but to go home to my apartment and have lunch." She replied. She wasn't normally one to talk like this, but she was truly interested in Risa. She was unlike any girl she had ever met before.

Risa told her the whole story from when she arrived at the palace and up unto the opera fiasco. She tried her best to keep things simple and vague since she didn't want to pile it onto the poor girl. There were certain parts she left out due to it not being of any importance. Besides, she was feeling nervous about expressing it to her anyways.

Tessa could not believe one girl had gone through all that. "Oh, so that was Vincent and you. I saw a girl and a boy arguing but you looked different so it didn't connect the dots. He was the one to almost knock me down going after you. I could tell you were hurt, but I was helping my aunt, and besides it wasn't my business." It was a small world after all.

Risa's face flushed a bit red, oh dear, she did not expect to meet someone who had been there. She was glad she hadn't put two and two together, so that meant others wouldn't know she was the one who was arguing with Vincent. "You saw everything?" Her voice held surprise as her eyes grew wide. "I-I didn't notice the people around me. My eyes were all foggy with tears and I was so focused on getting out." She rambled feeling a little embarrassed.

Tessa sat down on a bench and crossed her legs, opening a paper bag and pulling out a beignet. "It was obvious you were crying. I did feel bad that happened to you." She felt bad, yes, but she didn't think it was her business to go after her. She didn't know her at all and most people didn't want to talk about their problems to strangers. It didn't make her a bad person, she just didn't want to get involved.

Risa pushed her hair behind her ear, she sat down beside her. Crossing her ankles and setting her purse on her lap she sighed. "It was strange how that was the icing on the cake after all I had gone through. You would think that many times before things went wrong it would have pushed me to the edge, but no. It was Vincent's betrayal that topped it all off." How pitiful that was, at least in her eyes.

Tessa took a bite of her beignet and tapped her foot on the ground. "Your journey to Paris and why you came here was way more interesting than mine. It tends to happen when one thing pushes you off the edge." She paused for a moment. "You want to find your family, don't you? I hope that you do find them and hey, at least you got a friend." She smiled, gently nudging her with her elbow then pulled her hat down a bit more than it was.

Risa had to do a double-take, did she mean the friends she had already made, or was Tessa hinting about being her friend? What a normal person could think about that from what was said. "Wait, you want to be my friend? I wasn't even expecting or going to ask that. I would love to have another friend since I only have three." She was brimming with joy but she needed to keep her cool and not get overly excited.

Tessa laughed, that wasn't what she meant but she didn't think it was too bad. "Oh, only three?" She only had three friends? Oh how sad. Yes, she may not have been here long and three were more than most. Even though she didn't have any friends. Not that she needed them. "I didn't mean myself, but sure, I wouldn't mind a friend." She awkwardly mumbled, taking a bite out of her beignet and looking at the ground.

Risa nodded, confirming she only had three friends. "Stella, Rolando, and Maurice, who I met at Ciro's Restaurant. I have only met him once he was a nice guy and I hope to make our friendship bloom!" She was optimistic about it. "And now I have four, including you! Unless that makes you uncomfortable and I didn't mean to imply you needed to be my friend. I misunderstood you." She rambled on.

She smiled and laughed, shaking her head as she looked at Risa. "It is okay. Misunderstandings happen. I mean I wouldn't mind having a friend, I'm just not good at making them." It was true. She wasn't the friendliest person when it came to getting close to others. "You met a boy at Ciro's Restaurant? Not surprising since men flock to find ladies." She knew that the best place to find a lady was at those types of places, which she never felt the need to go to.

Risa rolled her eyes, pulling her coat up closer around her body. "I don't think he was there to find a lady. He was there with someone or a few people, don't quite remember. It was quite a blur. He was nice, we danced and talked. I told him I hoped to see him around the outside of the restaurant, which I will admit he was cute." She bashfully said but quickly added. "In all the ways Vincent is not. Which was nice, considering Vincent was the only young man around my age I've spent time with before Maurice."

Tessa was going to do a little teasing with what she had said. "Oh, I think you found your one to be true, right?" She teased with a laugh. "I am kidding, you only met him once. You can't fall in love with someone when you first meet them, it's listening not love. You know nothing about them but how good-looking their appearance is. Besides, Parisian boys are pretty cute, especially their accents. Pure heaven." She admitted in a monotone taking another bite of her beignet.

Risa gave a lopsided smile as she rested her chin in her palm, which her elbow rested on her thigh. "Tessa, have you been marveling over cute boys who come into the café and flirt with them?" She teased. She knew Tessa wasn't one to do that considering how cold she was, plus if her monotone didn't say it then she had no clue what would happen unless you counted her demeanor.

Tessa's eyes widened at what Risa had said and she almost choked on the piece of beignet she was chewing on. "What?" Her hand flew to her mouth as she swallowed. "Of course not. I have a healthy admiration for features that make a boy considered cute in my eyes. I don't flirt, don't know-how. I am just polite and like I normally am." She simply reminds me to lean back onto the back of the bench.

Risa laughed softly with a beaming smile. Even though Tessa wasn't flustered, she must have been surprised. It was fascinating how people reacted, it seemed to be similar to how Vincent acted when Rolabdo teased him about liking her. Yes, she had heard that whole conversation but didn't let them know she did. "I was teasing. I do that a lot. It was the only way to make living at the orphanage an enjoyable way to tease each other about small things like that." She hoped that clarified everything.

Tessa was a little embarrassed but she played it off as she finished her beignet. "I'm not used to being teased. I should expect that a lot from you, considering you're my friend now." It was still weird to call someone a friend. She hadn't known Risa but for many a half an hour? She didn't think you could be friends with someone you just met, but Risa seemed to think so.

Risa felt bad for being so presumptuous with asking her to be her friend. To most, it would come across as desperate, pitiful in a way. "I do want to apologize for following you, and talking to you, and inserting myself into your day. I was just trying to get out of my comfort zone and make a friend." Her smile faded as she spoke, looking down at her feet.

Tessa could tell she felt bad about it, but she didn't mind. She supposed it was bound to happen that someone would want to be her friend. Her grandmother would be thrilled for her and perhaps stop nagging her to get one. So it had its perks."It is alright. I like the company. Although I'm normally not one to admit it." She admitted to Risa.

Risa couldn't understand why she wasn't one to admit it. What was the shame? "Why not?" She inquired. She, herself, was one to admit anything even if she didn't want to. It was part of being honest and part of growing up how she had. She had always wanted a friend around her age but never had one. Other orphans weren't your friends considering how competitive it was growing up and once of age, they left.

Tessa just was that type of person. She was fine being by herself. It was something she liked and was content with. "Yes, well, normally people don't talk to me after work and it is just myself, back home, doing chores. I have no social life and my grandmother constantly tells me I should consider most girls my age to have a plethora of friends and even a boy they fancy." She couldn't see that for herself.

Risa couldn't see that for herself either. There were perks to being an orphan that weren't expected of you. Mrs. Hemmingworth didn't tell any of the young girls anything of the sort. So. She couldn't understand how she felt on that subject, but the latter she could. "I can understand that. I don't think everyone needs to find love at our age. Look at Rolando and Stella, he is in his 40s or 50s, not too sure and she is in her 30s, they are just now gonna get engaged. So, I think it depends if you're ready for it or not. I see nothing wrong with not dating and focusing on yourself."

Tessa was surprised that Risa had those views. It was less common than you would figure, but many had those views. They just weren't very outspoken about it. "Now that is some new modern views. My grandmother is one of those who still hold to the Victorian values she grew up with, even my mother sometimes does. I know for certain, I will never be like that. I will find love when fate allows it because I have more important things to focus on." She explained.

Risa wondered what she was going to focus on. Did she have a plan for her life? That wasn't something Risa had a chance to think about until now. It was driving her crazy; she had no plans for her future. "Like what?" She figured it may have been a dream job, which was common. Tessa seemed like the person to have everything figured out in advance before it happened.

Tessa was hesitant to share it with Risa, but so far she seemed like the type of person to be supportive. "Fashion! I want to be a fashion designer! I want to mix the Victorian fashion with our modern fashion, to create something new! The best way to make a name is to do something others haven't!" She exclaimed, then pursed her lips at her sudden outburst.

Risa was amazed. She truly did have it planned out. She knew fashion wasn't an easy career to have. It was very competitive and most of the time the best you could do was enter. "Seems like you're prepared for not only the praise but for the backlash. I assume some won't be thrilled about it but never fear, I will support you and will be the first to buy everything!" She hoped that would help her feel better if someone had her back.

Tessa was grateful that someone supported her. Her grandmother wasn't the most supportive but she did say if she made it then she would show her full support. "Of course. It's inevitable. Every designer expects some sort of backlash for their designs. I can't imagine what fashion will look like in one hundred years. Besides, I could care less about what others say about me or my designs." She had always been that way and sometimes she was seen as rude.

Risa admired that and could see that in herself. She wasn't one to listen to what others thought. She never cared about others' opinions. So it was nice to find someone who felt the same. "Good for you. One of these days I would love to see them." She didn't want to be presumptuous about that, she was just curious. Nothing more, nothing less.

Tessa wasn't going to admit it, but she was nervous about sharing them with anyone. She couldn't admit that and Risa didn't seem to be a judgemental person. "Sure. Just be forewarned that they aren't the best. I have had no prior lessons in art so they may look weird." She was a self-taught fashion designer which was something she had always been unknowingly self-conscious about.

Risa would no doubt be one to highly praise her, no matter what they looked like. "I am sure however they are, they are better than anything I could ever do. I have no talent whatsoever or at least nothing I've attempted or unlocked as of yet." She had always been a boring person. She lacked many skills since they were never taught to her.

Tessa couldn't believe that for a second. Everyone had a talent to a certain degree, even if it wasn't noticeable at first glance. "Pfft, that can't be true. You must have a talent, everyone does, even if it is a little thing. Perhaps you haven't found it or unlocked it yet?" She suggested, knowing that could be a plausible reason.

Risa could see how that was a possibility. It would take time for her to try her hand at things to see if they were her thing or that she was good at it. "That task seems daunting. It is so much easier to say I'm good at nothing and accept it. All the work to find my talent, it's too late for me to start now." She groaned, throwing her head back.

Tessa was amused, although she didn't show it. Something about Risa and her groans about finding talent was amusing. Most people would be jumping on the bandwagon to find something to occupy their time with. "If it helps, can we spend at least once a week trying something new? Don't think of it like that. Just think about spending quality time with your new friend." She was pretty good at pleasing others.

Risa couldn't deny how she made it seem, it was less daunting. "I can handle that. I wouldn't know where to start! There is so much of France - Paris that I don't know much about. I love ballets and I wouldn't mind taking a try at it, but I don't think that is a possibility." She didn't think anyone who was her age could attempt to learn ballet.

Tessa wasn't one to discourage anyone, even if it was out of reach. "Perhaps you'll make a friend with a ballerina who would have no problem teaching you." It was plausible that it could happen. After all, Risa had met an inspiring fashion designer. She didn't know what Maurice did, but whatever it was, it could be beneficial for her. Not that she was one to take advantage of others. It was merely a thought.

Risa pulled out her pocket watch and frowned at the time. "It is a little bit past the time I normally eat lunch. No wonder I am hungry. It flew right over me while I was getting an interview and talking to you." She put the pocket watch back in her pocket and turned to Tessa. "Want to get something to eat? I know a lot of good places to go." She offered, standing up.

Tessa stood up and nodded. She was glad she had suggested lunch, she was quite hungry. "I'd like that a beignet only goes so far." She replied, stealing her arms over her head and finding the nearest trash bin to toss her paper bag in. "It was simply to hold me over until I could get home and cook something up."

Risa followed right beside her pulling her coat tighter around her body. "If I had my apartment. I would be making meals." She let out a huff of air which could be seen in the cold air. Cons to living in a hotel room. She just needed focus so that someday soon she could have her place. Oh she was thrilled for that day

Tessa hooked arms with Risa, leaning a bit on her. "That time will come. For now, let's eat at some of these fine restaurants. I haven't eaten out in a while, been too busy to sit and wait around when I can make it myself. For the price you pay for a single meal, you can eat a homemade meal for a whole week." It was logical reasoning.

Risa looked over at her, blowing her bangs from her eyes. She could understand that. When you needed to save money, that was the route to go. "I used to hate eating with the kids at my orphanage. It was a bit crowded at the table and it was always first come first serve. We made it work somehow, but I liked eating alone." She had had meals with Rolando and Vincent on their way to France but that didn't mean she liked it.

Tessa had to admit, Risa was one of the most interesting people she had ever met. She was kind of glad she had been presumptuous and asked to be her friend. Otherwise, she would have never approached her first. "You are a very interesting person Risa. While we eat, how about we get to know each other a bit more?" She suggested with a bright smile on her lips.

Risa loved the sound of that. It was nice that someone wanted to get to know her. Besides Maurice, Tessa was her second friend around her age. It was quite an experience for her. "Sounds like a plan." She said with a smile. She could see this was going to be the start of a long friendship which she wished more than anything.

A/N:
This one took longer than the others, mostly because I was busy and haven't been feeling the best, partly because I had a bit of writer's block for this chapter. How to extend it and make it longer than 1k works and so this is shorter than I hoped but I can always come back later and add more.

Chapter talk:
Risa is finally getting a job and she has made a friend who happens to be a girl so she can finally have someone, besides Stella, to talk about girl things with. I adored Tessa, and I had done a lot of research for Tessa, which was worth it in the end. This is going to be one long friendship that will help out Risa.

And lastly, anything else I forgot to ask away my pals. I am happy to answer anything!

In closing, all rude, impolite and mean comments will be replied to in a diplomatic way, reported or deleted if I feel like it is attacking me personally.

Thanks for reading!
