❅ Chapter Thirty-One ❅
Monday rolled around and Risa looked in the mirror of her hotel room. She tied on her apron and smoothed down her top, making sure there wasn't a winkle in sight. She hummed making sure her collar was laid flat down which she had spent a good few minutes trying to accomplish. When she had, she was thrilled she looked so professional, dressed head to toe in brown and white, the café colors.
She had spent almost all morning practicing how she would act on the job. What she would say and do. She wanted to make sure she made a good first impression on the customers and her boss. She didn't want to lose this job, so she needed to be on her toes at all times. Working at a café wasn't as easy as she figured, Tessa had told her stories about how gruesome it would be. It didn't discourage her though.
Who knew an orphan girl like herself could get a job at a café in Paris? It seemed a bit cliché to her, but life was full of little clichés and ironies. You sometimes have to accept it and just go with the flow. Which was what she was doing. It wasn't like she couldn't have helped it, it was the only place that would hire her with no prior job experience. She just hoped to prove to everyone that even with no job experience you can still get into the swing of things and make a life for yourself.
She twirled around pulling her hair into a ponytail out of her way. "Oh Loyal, can you believe it is my first day at work." She exclaimed then noticed her puppy was sound asleep. "Whoops, I still forget the sun isn't even up yet." She took her voice down to a whisper and giggled softly.
She walked over to the curtains and opened them just a little. The lights were still on that lined the sidewalk and it was still dark out. She was going to have to get used to waking up at five am to be at work at six am. That meant she would need to go to bed earlier and sacrifice late-night outings for strictly the weekends to never oversleep.
She recalled back to her time at the orphanage, even then she had never gotten up this early. She normally could have woken up at seven am, even eight at the latest if she wasn't sleeping well. Any normal person wouldn't be happy to get up before the sun to go to work, but this was her first job, so how couldn't she be excited? She hardly slept a wink.
She turned off the lamp so it would be dark for Loyal. She walked over to her bowl and filled it up with some food quietly so when she got up she could eat. "That should hold her over until Stella comes to pick her up while I am at work." She mused, putting away the bag at the bottom of a dresser door.
She walked over to the door and grabbed her coat off the rack, pulling it on, she then pulled on her gloves and then her hat. She grabbed her small purse and opened the door, pausing and blowing out the candle that sat on the dresser. She walked out and closed it quietly behind her making sure it made only a small click.
She walked with a little bit of bounce in her step, excitement was pouring out as she left the hotel. She hoped her first day of work would go well, plus she had spoken to Stella who would come by before she picked up Loyal to see how things were. She had nothing to worry about, so she could solely focus on her job.
She hummed softly arriving at the café which wasn't even open yet. She pulled open the door and walked into the warmth of the fireplace. "Tessa? Jaelle? Boss? Philippe?" She called out walking towards the kitchen, first calling to her two friends, then her boss and lastly the chef of the café.
Tessa called out from the kitchen letting her know where they were. "Back here, Risa." She laid down a crepe on the baking sheet and popped some filling into it, before passing it over to Jaelle, who was giving the little guys a dusting of powdered sugar or chocolate drizzle.
It seemed that neither their boss nor Philippe was there, which struck Risa as odd. She followed her voice and was a bit curious about what they were making. It did smell pretty good in the kitchen, though it seemed to be empty of Jaelle and Tessa at this time. "Hello, where is our boss or Philippe?" She asked, curiously, dropping her hat, gloves, and coat in the back room.
Tessa pointed to the office towards the very back of the café. "Boss is back there busy with heaven knows what. Philippe has to come in late because his daughter is sick. Come back and wash up so you can help us with the crepes." She suggested squirting the filling in a long line down the middle.
Jaelle scooted it to her where she rolled it up and placed a toothpick to keep it closed until it would be drizzled in chocolate or dusted with powdered sugar. "Can we take any leftovers home with us? My siblings would love to try these." She was almost drooling at how tasty these little guys were looking.
Tessa looked up at Jaelle and gave a smile, a small laugh escaped her lips as she saw how enamored she was with them. "Sure. Crepes are something that has to be eaten within a day or kept in a cool place otherwise they grow worse. Other things get marked down the next day and if they aren't sold we get to take them home." Perks of working in a café.
Risa walked over to them and stood beside Jaelle. "So, what do I do?" She hadn't had much experience in baking, but she was a fast learner so it shouldn't be too hard. It seemed that Tessa already had the baking part covered. It did seem like they were just beginning to make some pastries.
Tessa pointed to a recipe book on the table and smiled. "Madeleines, you can make them. I already have everything you need, all you need to do is make and bake them. They are really easy and Jaelle can dip the sides in chocolate, or sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar." She intruded on Risa, knowing there was no way she could mess them up.
Risa up at the recipe and the ingredients before her. It didn't seem that hard, so she began to make madeleines, which sounded very delicious and by the drawing, looked just as tasty. "How long have you been here Tessa? There seem to be many things in the oven." She noted how warm it was.
Tessa looked up and blinked a few times then gave a smile. "Two hours before you and one before Jaelle, Boss was here a bit earlier and I've been helping bake. It seems tomorrow his niece and nephew are coming in to help us out, which I couldn't be more thankful for." She replied, glancing up at Risa every so often.
Risa simply nodded as she focused on her madeleines, following the instructions to a T. Not too long after she had popped them into the oven, their boss joined them and helped Risa with some of the bread that had been rising. Jaelle was content with simply finishing off the pastries.
Once six rolled around, Risa went to unlock the doors and flip the closed sign to open, which began her first day officially. It was only a few moments since she opened and the customers began to pile into the café. Things were a bit slow at first for both Risa and Jaelle, however, both girls caught on quickly, and soon things were running smoothly.
The only tricky thing was delivering the orders on the round trays, especially when you had one in each hand for a table with a huge family. Neither complained though since it wasn't that bad. Besides, greeting people with a smile brightens up everyone's day. They occasionally got compliments - most were on their looks - however, a compliment was still a compliment. It boosted both girls' confidence to know people enjoyed their service.
From the back, Tessa couldn't have been more proud of them. Her boss seemed quite happy with both Risa and Jaelle, and because she had gotten two hard-working girls, she was getting a small raise. She couldn't have been more grateful. A raise would allow her to buy more fabric to further her fashion career. The more outfits she created the better her opportunities to make a name for herself.
Hours later near lunch, Risa perked up when she saw Stella come into the café, however, she wasn't alone, she had a girl and a young man was beside her. She poured some coffee for an older man before walking back behind the counter and putting it back where she had got it.
Tessa set two plates on the counter and hit the bell. "Jaelle, order for table four." She called the young Romani girl. She then looked at Risa and smiled. "You can take their order but remember don't dilly dally, others are waiting for their orders." She knew just who Stella was and figured Risa wanted to speak with her.
Risa nodded, grabbing out her paper and pencil walking over, a smile on her face. She was glad that Tessa had caught on and allowed her to wait on Stella. She shuffled to their table and tried to act as professionally as she could. "Good afternoon Stella, and you two." She greeted them, her voice was cheerful and her eyes bright.
Stella was indeed proud of her, seeing her working made her smile. She looked so professional in her uniform and it seemed the customers liked her. "Risa, Bonjour. I see you are enjoying your new job." She then motioned to the two people sitting beside her. "This is Cyrene, she is Nathan and Persia's daughter, Clarissa's younger sister. And this is Clark, Cyrene's beau whom she has known for quite a while." She introduced them.
Cyrene gently nudged her aunt and shook her head, her cheeks growing a bit red. "Stella. Clark and I are merely friends for the time being until I can allow Father to let us court." She spoke through gritted teeth then looked Risa up and down. "Anyways, I have been wanting to meet you for so long Risa. Stella speaks so highly about you."
Clark nodded, pushing up his glasses. "She indeed does. Your story is no doubt heroic if I must say myself. It goes to show no matter who you are, you can do just fine on your own. Cyrene has been wanting to meet you since that night at the opera, but her father wouldn't allow it." It was true, Nathan didn't want his daughter to meet Risa in fear she'd think she was Clarissa.
Risa could understand where Nathan was coming from. "I wanted to meet you too, unfortunately, I wasn't able to, thanks to Vincent and your father. Perhaps we can speak move after my shift is over? I end work at six and I should be taking your orders instead of talking. I don't wanna get fired." She whispered the last part.
Stella gave a smile as she looked at Clark and Cyrene, both of whom occasionally shared glances only to go away with red faces. "Then let us order." She picked up the menu and read down the line of everything they had. Their menu for lunch was a little different from breakfast, it was a café after all. "My, my, everything sounds delicious." She then pointed out a simple dish that was recommended for the day and told Risa she wanted that.
Cyrene and Clark looked at what Stella had just picked. "We'll have to have one too." They both said in unison, which caused both to blush and look away. They told themselves it was simply a coincidence they had said it together and to not think upon it thatch. "Thank you," Cyrene muttered first then Clark echoed it.
Risa wrote it down and left to get it for them, glad they had chosen that dish. Soon she came back with a tray of three dishes, one for each of them. She sets it before them then places their drinks on the table. "I hope you enjoy it." She flashed a smile and turned around, making her way to another table.
Stella watched Risa work as she ate, the food was no doubt delicious. It seemed Risa was fitting right in. The warm smile she gave and the sweet tone she used when speaking. It made the atmosphere warmer, which was not because of the fireplace, but because of her personality.
Cyrene rested her cheek in her hand as she ate her food. "She kinda reminds me of Clarissa. She was always good at fitting in and adjusting quickly. I do hope I find her." She just knew her sister was alive. Despite what anyone said, there was no way Clarissa could be dead. If they had survived, she must've too.
Clark pulled his eyes away from Risa and towards Cyrene. Since he had met her, she was insistent that Clarissa was alive and was looking for them. "You will. Rolando believes she is alive and he has good intuition. She may be right before your eyes yet you may not even realize it." He wanted to hint at it being Risa since he could see how much she looked like Perisa.
Stella was glad she wasn't the only one - besides Rolando and Vincent - to see the similarities between Risa and Perisa. It was almost like looking in a mirror, or a painting of them her sister was around her age. "Hmm, she may be. Only time will tell right?" She hoped that time came sooner than she wished.
Cyrene looked over at him with raised eyebrows then looked at her aunt. "If that day comes then I will know right away that it is her. Sisters never lose that bond, since Clarissa and I were inseparable." She reminded him. Which technically wasn't completely true, seeing as it had been years since either of them saw each other.
Clark hummed as he ate, giving Stella a look to which she returned understanding what he meant. "Perhaps. In the meantime, let's try and get your father to allow you more freedom. This was a start, but he only agreed because Persia was insistent on allowing you to spend time with Stella." That and to let Nathan know he had nothing to worry about.
Stella drowned out the rest of the time they had there while they ate. While Clark and Cyrene began to talk about a recent book that had come out, she had a lot on her mind. She had been too busy to just ponder what was floating around in her head. At night she was exhausted so she couldn't ponder about it then.
Rolando mentioned he thought Risa was Clarissa and she too could see the resemblance to Perisa in her. It was like seeing Persia as a young woman all over again and the fond memories the two sisters had made. Yet again, that didn't mean anything without any proof. Everyone had someone who looked similar to them. So, perhaps it was just a coincidence.
Now, that pocket watch Risa had, that was a different story. It had the same lullaby Persia sang to the girls and looked like the one Nathan's parents had sent to Clarissa as a clue to them coming to Paris. She was there when they had it made, and of course, others got wind and wanted one just like it. But that wasn't until a week later they had it commissioned.
It was all circumstantial. She could have found it or someone could have picked it up thinking it was hers since it was by her. She also didn't know if it was handmade specially for them or if it was a popular trinket of that time. Those were questions she hoped to hear answers from Rolando when he took Risa to the watch shop. Of course, there was no guarantee that he would have those records. Eleven years was a long time, no one would keep such records unless it had to do with the government.
It seemed like neither Risa nor the Rosenbergs would ever find their lost loved ones. Even if they were right in front of each other, it wasn't a cliche story where they knew it. It was easy to overlook what you have in common with someone since it sometimes never clicks. So far, nothing was clicking for them even if others saw it plain as day.
She just prayed that all would work out in the end for both the Rosenbergs and Risa. Soon, she, Cyrene, and Clark also finished up their food. They bid Risa goodbye and left the café, running a few errands they had to run since there were many, many hours until Risa would get off of work and Nathan would be questioning Cyrene on what they did.
So, Stella knew she needed to take Cyrene to other places so she wouldn't need to lie. She knew Nathan would be disappointed if he had known they had visited the café where Risa was working. He still wasn't fond of her, or the idea of meeting her, even if he insisted he wouldn't mind meeting her if they crossed paths.
She sighed heavily and followed behind Cyrene and Clark, glancing back at a smiling Risa as she worked. She was no doubt proud of how hard she had come and even after all she had been through she was persevering through it. She would go far in this world, not because she was an optimistic person, but because Risa was brave. That she admired more than anything.
Six hours later, Risa got ready to leave for the day. Her feet were sore from all the walking, her back hurt from bending down, and her arms hurt from carrying the trays. She told Jaelle and Tessa goodbye, hugging both girls before parting ways with them. She was happy to be working with her two friends, not only that, their boss was singing their praises for how great the day had turned out.
She pushed open the door and turned to her right and gasped as she had almost collided with Stella and Cyrene. "Whoa, sorry, I almost ran into you. But you caught me just in time or else you would have missed me." She greeted the two girls with a kind smile. "I didn't expect to see you two again today, though."
Stella hugged her tightly yet gently before pulling away and placing her hands on Risa's shoulders. "Yes, we did. How was your first day at work? Did it go well? Had no trouble? I hope you had no trouble. Was it smooth sailing?" She asked, hoping that all went well. She would have dread to hear something went wrong on the first day.
Risa moved a paper bag with leftovers to the hand with her purse and laughed as Stella removed her hands. "It was amazing. Other than cleaning up a mess a kid made, it was smooth sailing. Tessa said she had never seen anyone, besides Jaelle, who was able to adjust and get into the swing of things without messing up." She proudly declared, puffing out her check with a smug smile on her face. "So did my boss."
Cyrene was impressed. She supposed being an orphan you could adapt quite quickly in creative ways. "From what Stella has said I wouldn't have thought it would be any problem for you. I wish I could say the same. I briefly worked at the library, but unfortunately, I fell off a ladder and knocked a few bookshelves down." She admits sheepishly, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. That was a humiliating moment but because of that her father found out and he wasn't happy.
Stella turned to her and rested a hand on her shoulder. "But that wasn't why you were let go, it was your father's word. He scared the poor owner with his many subtle threats. If only he would allow you to be free and spread your wings." She did notice Cyrene blamed herself for a lot that happened and any time she would reassure her that it wasn't her fault she would.
Cyrene sighed looking up at her aunt. She knew deep down it wasn't her fault, but it was easier to blame herself because her father would never own up to it. "He would if Medusa was still not out there waiting for the perfect moment to try and kill us." She grumbled under her breath. She was a little upset about the leash her father held on them all, she knew he was only trying to protect them, but this was a little too much.
Risa could tell that Cyrene wasn't happy with her situation. She did feel bad for her, considering how she had to grow up with Nathan being the way he was. "You can't live your life in fear. The best way to show you're not afraid is to live life and no matter what comes your way, handle it the best you can. I learned that the hard way." She hoped Nathan would understand that, although she doubted she would ever meet him let alone find the courage to give him a tip.
Cyrene nodded, she wished her father understood that. She didn't have that courage. She could hardly find her voice to ask him to leave the house. She shook her head, wanting to move away from those thoughts. "Stella did mention you had a few attempts on your life on your trip here. I am truly sorry, it sounded terrible. It seems like the predicament that made my parents leave all those years ago." She didn't have much of a memory of that night, she was family young when it happened.
Risa was touched that she felt apologetic for what happened to her. "It was but it doesn't bother me anymore and it is all in the past." She insisted, tightening her scarf as she walked down the street. "Forgive me if I speak out of line, I never understood why your father just didn't stay and stand up, rather than flee with you." Yes, she thought Nathan was a bit of a coward, but she wouldn't ever admit that.
Cyrene sighed softly, looking down at the sidewalk as she ran her hand along with the brick buildings. "I can't really speak for my father, but I can say he wasn't in the best mind frame to rule and no matter what mother said or anyone, he just didn't listen. Even the guards insisted on staying put that night, but he told them to retire for bed. Medusa was just waiting for our guard to be let down and he handed it to her on a silver platter. At least that's what my mother says." She explained, recalling the conversations she had with Stella.
Risa looked over at her as she spoke. It did seem that no matter what the people said the king had the last word. "Hmm, it seems that he had. I don't know much about it, only from what Rolando told me. Anything else I knew beforehand was because of the rumors that had gotten around the orphanage. Any gossip they could get to take away from our lives was much needed." She admitted, stuffing her hands in her pockets.
Cyrene wanted to get away from the subject. It was bringing her mood down and she didn't particularly like to speak about it. Because of all that is what made her lose her sister. "Are you close to finding your family? Stella told me you had a lead which included a pocket watch?" She figured that was a good starting conversation because there was nothing that would make her uncomfortable, at least she hoped so.
Risa nodded, pulling out her pocket watch and showing it to Cyrene. "I have always had this thing with me. It was the only thing I had when I was sent to the orphanage. I might have also had a bracelet but I think it was stolen? Or maybe lost? I don't remember much but the nurse who had taken care of me had explained to me how I was found." She explained, watching Cyrene as she inspected the watch.
Cyrene looked at the watch and ran her fingers over the engravings. "This watch . . . seems a bit familiar like I have seen it before." She recalled the pocket watch that was often spoken about but she couldn't recall anything about it. It was so long ago. She then held up her wrist. "My sister Clarissa had a bracelet like this but with her name on it, I was always hoping if I found her we could tell by these." It might have been childish but she was proud of it because she had made it with so much love.
Risa looked at the bracelet, it was so cute. It did look like it was made by a child, the awful handwriting and bright colors. She gave a small laugh. "It is really cute. Did you happen to make it?" She asked with a smile displayed on her lips. It did not go with her outfit but it had sentimental value. She wished she had something like that then it would be easy to find her family. The watch seemed to be difficult.
Cyrene furrowed her eyebrows. What Risa had just asked surprised her. "Yes, how did you know?" She asked. Did Risa know something she did? How could she know she had made it unless . . . No, that was a reduction. Risa couldn't be Clarissa, despite what Stella and Rolando insisted.
Risa placed her hand on her shoulder, realizing what she was hinting at. She had to clarify so she didn't give Cyrene the wrong idea. "No offense but it looks like something a child would create. I don't recall what the bracelet I had looked like, it must've not been important." She replied, hoping that she would feel a little better. Perhaps it wasn't the most comforting of words.
Cyrene nodded, her mouth forming into an 'o', and laughed it off. That was a little embarrassing she had caught onto what she was hinting at. "Haha, that makes sense . . ." She trailed off and shook her head before moving on. "I do hope you find your family soon. I am sure they are just waiting for you to return and have been searching the whole time." She hoped that made her feel much better.
Risa was glad she was having more and more support. She could use all the support she needed. "Thanks. I hope you find your sister. I am sure she is trying to find you, but life hasn't had you two met yet. I know it will happen soon. I am staying optimistic about finding my family so you should too. Rolando seems to think she is still alive and he has good intuition." Apart from him implying she was Clarissa, although he never said it directly, she could tell by the way he spoke about the issue.
Cyrene knew Rolando was trustworthy because everyone raved about him. "He was always optimistic according to his father. When Vincent came that night, father was furious even after the chat. Stella tried to reason with him, but he is even now still bitter about it like he always is." She huffed, letting out a puff of air.
Stella agreed. Risa wasn't the only one who got hurt that night. Vincent also had gotten hurt because everything was blown out of proportion. "Indeed. He didn't realize that Vincent wasn't going to follow through with his original plan. Nor did he listen to him when he tried to explain, so Vincent was also a bit shaken about how everything played out." She explained, hoping Risa would be more sympathetic.
Risa frowned, rolling her eyes. If that was supposed to make her sympathetic towards Vincent, she was sadly mistaken. "He may not have followed through but he still should have told me before, without having to find out through that. Then maybe, just maybe, I would have forgiven him and not had taken it to heart." She coldly said, trying to make a good point. She still felt betrayed by him. He only agreed to come along because he was in it for the money.
Cyrene could tell it still hit a nerve. She didn't want to be presumptuous, but she was going to be straightforward with Risa. "Don't you think it is time to forgive and forget?" Risa always talked about her father moving on, but she wasn't doing what she was suggesting. She wouldn't be truly happy while still being bitter about it. That hurt Cyrene to see the hatred she was festering deep down and it would end up bubbling out and lashing out in different ways.
Risa huffed, blowing her hair from her face. Of course, they had to bring that up. What was it with everyone wanting her to forgive him? He had hurt her deeply and did they think it was supposed to go away just like that? "I'm not forgiving nor forgetting what he did. It hurt me. He betrayed me. It crossed the line and destroyed any amount of trust I had." She explained making an 'x' with her arms as she spoke, hoping that would get through to them.
Cyrene wasn't going to press the subject anymore. She didn't want to hurt her feelings or make her mad. She just could only hope that one day she could find a chance to forgive him. "Anyways, I think I may end up being a regular customer at the café. I will try and get my family to come along just to meet you, however, if it doesn't happen it will only be me. Trying to get Father to leave the house is excruciatingly hard. I mean he leaves but only for his purposes, nothing for us."
Risa turned her head to her after having looked down at the snow her feet walked across. "I would like to meet them. I finally got to meet you so maybe meeting the others won't be too hard. Stella often raves about you and it is as if I already know you." She mused, gently nudging Cyrene in the arm with a smile on her lips.
Cyrene blushed a little, flattered at her words. That was typical of Stella, always ranting and raving about others but never spoke about herself. "I'm not surprised? I am sure whatever she says is true because she isn't the type to lie and tell tall tales. Sadly, we have to keep laying low although people here have forgotten about what happened in Canada. It was a long time ago and we are treated like normal people, but even then Father things are too dangerous." She dreaded hearing that come from her father's mouth whenever she wanted to go out on her own or when her siblings asked.
Risa rested her hand on her shoulder. 'It must have been tough for her to not be able to live the life she wants.' She thought to herself, frowning a little. "All things will work out in the end. I am sure the time will come when you will get your freedom." She was trying to remain optimistic. "That is my hotel, so, I suppose we part ways here." She pointed out, stopping and looking at Stella and Cyrene.
Stella finally said something after letting the two girls talk. "Indeed we do. It was a pleasure to spend this time with you again Risa while walking you home. Please take care." She hugged her tightly before pulling away. Yes, it may have been out of their way but spending time with Risa was worth it.
Risa hugged her back tightly, not wanting to let her go. She was beginning to enjoy hugging others, it brought a sense of comfort and made her feel better. "Thanks for the support, Stella. It meant a lot to me. You are like family to me. I couldn't be happier." She then turned to Cyrene and took her hands in her own. "It was wonderful to talk and meet you. I hope we get to meet again, with permission from your father this time."
Cyrene looked down at their hands and then suddenly pulled them away and hugged her. For a brief moment, the hug felt familiar in a way, but she wasn't going to dwell on it. "I- um, oh, yes it was nice to meet you too." She stammered a little, pulling away and stepping back. "I hope to meet up with you again and perhaps with my father's permission or even my family beside me. If only they could know you like I now know you."
Risa nodded, contouring to smile at them both. She didn't want to depart but it was getting late, she was hungry and it was getting dark. "I will be looking forward to that day. Take care of you two." She called with a wave as she entered the building and disappeared.
Once to her room, she opened the door quietly, hoping not to wake Loyal if she was asleep. Sure enough, she was laying on the bed sound asleep. She smiled softly at the sweet picture. She was glad Stella took her out for a bit while she was at work and then brought her back before coming to walk her back. She did go out of her way no matter who it was.
She hung up her coat, scarf, and hat on the coat rack, then she laid her gloves on the dresser and took off her shoes, placing them on the floor by the door. It felt nice to be barefoot and the warm fire made her feel comfortable. She then took off her uniform and pulled on a simple satin dress before laying on the bed and stroking Loyal's back.
She couldn't help but smile when she thought about Cyrene who she finally got to meet. She couldn't help but feel a familiar bond with her thinking back on it now. It was odd, but she tried not to dwell on it. Perhaps it was because she always wanted a sibling and it mirrored what she had always wanted. Things were turning around and maybe, just maybe she would find her family Sunday.

A/N:
Believe me when I say this chapter isn't fully complete. I just wanted to get the major events down and will expand later. I didn't want to procrastinate too much on this chapter.
Chapter Talk:
Risa finally met Cyrene and Clark was with them. It was pretty cute how Stella called him Cyrene's beau and she denied it. I am sure Nathan will let the two court, after all, he is a respectful and a true gentleman who loves Cyrene for who she is, treats her like a queen and is supportive for her wanting to get a job. What better match?
I enjoyed writing Risa and Cyrene's interaction and I did give little hints about how familiar it was to each other. Of course they won't be connecting the dots because they're completely oblivious.
And lastly, anything else I forgot to ask my pals. I am happy to answer anything!
In closing, all rude, impolite and mean comments will be replied to in a diplomatic way, reported or deleted if I feel like it is attacking me personally.
Thanks for reading!
