"Malia, we need to talk", Sam said standing at the door. I wouldn't or just couldn't let him step into the apartment.

"Now is not again time", I said thinking about Tim sitting on my couch. I looked over to Lina and the others as they were watching me talk to Sam. I could see a look of curiosity on Tim's face. I quickly looked back at Sam who was looking into the apartment.

"So you have company I see. Its fine, maybe we can talk another time", he said. "And who's the extra guy". I looked over to Tim who was now getting up from the couch and walking over to me.

"His name is Tim", I said. I didn't know how I was going to explain to him what me and Tim had.

Tim stood beside me and I could tell that he was looking for answers to why he was called the extra guy.

"Oh", Sam said. "Are you two together or something?", he asked.

"Um no, yes, no--", I said before getting cut off by Tim.

"I hope we have something", he said. 'I wouldn't be making love to you for no reason", he said.

I looked at him and I couldn't say a word. I was caught.

"I guess I was too late then", he said and then turned around.

"Sam wait!", I said. He quickly turned around and then I walked outside to him. Tim still waited at the door.

"I've tried calling you and getting in touch with you but you never answer or showed up", I said.

"I know and I'm sorry for that but I didn't think that you would have moved on so fast in two weeks", he said.

"I didn't know you had been talking to someone", Tim said from behind me. I turned around and he was a few feet away from me.

"We were not together", I said pointing at Sam.

"Just be honest with me, Malia", Tim said.

"When you saw me at the clothing store, I was getting ready for a date with Sam and it was suppose to be just a date", I explained.

"I asked you out on a date that day. You were playing me", he said.

"No I was not, Tim", I replied.

Lina and Bryson stepped outside and I seen a look of sorry on Lina's face. Lina had been the one to talk me into doing all this. This was all her fault.

"I couldnt just turn you down again like that, not after what I did at Layni's party", I said.

"So you went on a date with me because you felt sorry?", Tim replied.

Tears were now falling from my eyes rapidly. "No", I said. "Yes but I feel so much different about you now. I actually began to...began too...", I said not wanting to say what I was going to say.

"Began to what?", Sam said. I turned around and looked at Sam. "You know what, just forget about. Just forget that I even stopped by", he said. He shifted his eyes to Tim who was standing behind me. "Wish you two good luck". Sam turned around and got into his car and left. I watched as he looked at me and drove off. I looked behind me and Tim was walking back into the apartment. Lina and Bryson still stood by the door. I walked back inside and saw Tim grabbing his phone and keys.

"Where are you going?", I asked.

"I'm leaving", he replied.

"Tim don't walk away from, please", I said. I was still crying and I didn't want him to leave.

"Why shouldn't I?", he asked.

"Because I didn't mean for any of this to happen. Sam and I have not talked to each other in two weeks and I had you. You stuck by me for these few weeks and I thought we had something", I said.

"I thought so too, Malia. But all you were doing was playing the both of us", he said.

Tim turned around and walked out of the apartment. I didn't try to run after him or watch him leave. I stood in the same spot and couldn't move. I had messed up big time.

"Malia, I am so sorry", Lina said.

"Just forget about it", I said as I was wiping the tears from my face.

"This is all my fault. I didn't know tha--", she said before I cut her off.

"Lina, just forget it. Can you just leave?", I said sounding really upset. I was actually upset with her. She was the blame for all of this because she talked me into doing things I wouldn't have even done.

"Fine", Lina said. Lina and Bryson grabbed their things and left.

I was now left alone by myself again.
