Before I had to go to work at 12:00, Lina and I decided to stop at a diner to eat lunch together. Of course I knew that she was going to want to talk about the date the other night.

"Now that you have time to spend with your best friend, are you going to tell me how the date went?", Lina asked and then sipped some drink of soda from her straw.

"It went great. I thought I wouldn't like it but it turned out perfect", I said. I was smiling as I said the word 'perfect'. I could tell that I was blushing.

"Awww", Lina said. "You actually really like him. How I saw you look at Tim, I thought you was falling for him", she continued. Did she really have to bring up Tim? The only guy that I wanted on my mind right now was Sam.

"Lina, I don't know if I should go on a date with Tim", I said to her.

"Why not?", she asked.

"Well, I really just want to focus on me and Sam and not me and Tim", I explained to her. I wanted to see how things went with Sam first. What if I mess up what I had with Sam because I went on a date with him?

"It isn't like you two are dating. You're single so you can do whatever you want", she said. I gave Lina a look that said 'come on Lina, be real'. "Come on Malia, it won't hurt".

"Lina-", I said and then I was cut off.

"What's up beautiful girls". I looked up and it was Tim. What the hell was he doing here? How did he know that I was here? Did he even know that we were here? Was he stalking me? I didn't know but there was no way of getting away from this guy.

"Um, hi", I said. "What are you doing here?"

"Lina invited me", he answered. I looked over at Lina and gave her a look that said that I was going to kill her.

"Oh did she?", I said half smiling and half upset.

Tim took a seat beside me and looked at me and smiled. He was really handsome and hot. I couldn't help but keep looking at him as he looked at me. Before he looked away, he winked at me and then turned to look at Lina. To be honest, I wanted to throw him on the table and start kissing him. What was getting into me? Snap out of it Malia, I told myself.

"So Lina, double date?", he asked Lina.

"Oh yeah, I talked to Bryson about it and he agreed. Malia?", Lina said, turning her head to me.

I was in a daze but I was then snapped back into reality by Lina's question. "Um...uh...yeah..sure", I said as I hesitated for an answer.

"Great", Tim said. "I was thinking about dinner at Fancy's".

"Really? That place is really expensive", Lina said.

"Yeah, I know but the bill is on me and I already have reservations", he said. My eyes went wide. He was paying for all of us to eat at the rich restaraunt called Fancy's. It was the second best restaraunt here. I had eaten there once with a old friend but I havn't been there in a while because their food was really high.

"Tim you didn't have to do that", I told him. He was a really nice guy for doing that. He did all if that just to go on a date with me. I couldn't ask for nothing better than that. I know that I didn't want to really go on a date with him, but that made me want to. Maybe Lina was right and I should give him a chance.

"Its no problem", he assured me. "I'd do anything to spend some time with you". I almost shattered at his words. I didn't know that he was so sweet like that. I gave him a smile and I could tell that he knew that I was blushing. He gave me a smile and I had to look away because if I didn't, I probably would have kissed him.
