I woke up and put on my armor. Then I heard a scream from outside. "Ah!" A woman's scream echoed throughout Phoenix Drop. I sprinted outside and ran towards the scream. "Are you okay?" I asked walking into Aphmau's house. Katelyn and Aphmau were sitting on the couch, Katelyn was in tears. "Katelyn!" I yelled and pulled her into a hug. "N-Nicole was captured by Zane last night." She said crying, I felt tears forming in my eyes. Laurence ran in from hearing Katelyn's scream. He saw me crying and hugged me. He stared into my (E/C) eyes. I stare into his blue orbs. Our face get closer and Katelyn notices. She growled at him. "I won't then-" he mumbled. "Good." She said. She got up wiping tears away and walked outside. I followed her, but we stopped dead in our tracks when we saw him. He stood there holding Alexis by her neck. She was bleeding badly from a cut on her eye. He wore a mask over his face. Once he saw us he dropped her and ran away. "Alexis!" I yelled. I looked in the trees and saw Aaron. "What happened?" He asked watching Aphmau heal her. "Zane, he's back." Katelyn said. She helped Alexis to her feet. Alexis had a huge scar over her left eye, when she opened it, it was gray. "I can't see!" She yelled. "Open your other eye." Aaron said. "Oh." She was looking around, adjusting to the sun light. "Your eye is gray." I said holding her chin. "Is my right one still blue?" She asked. "Yes, and you still look the same, stunning." Aaron said. Everyone turned to him. "You sure that's Aaron?" I asked. "He gets flirty at times." Alexis said picking up her daggers. She winked at him and walked into Phoenix Drop like nothing even happened. Then Dom ran past all of us making me fall to the ground. "Where's Alexis!" He yelled. Laurence pulled him off of me. "Don't you touch her!" He yelled. Dom ran into Phoenix Drop looking for Alexis. I ran after him with Laurence close behind. Dom was sniffing around. "I found her scent." He mumbled to himself. He sprinted away, leaving me and Laurence. We ran after him, but he found her before we did. "What is wrong with you!" He yelled. "Did you even hear me calling you?" He asked getting angrier. "I heard I just don't care." She said standing up. "Why don't you just go back to the pack? Just like you left yesterday." She snarled. "I don't need you anymore, all you do is tell the pack where I am, then they come searching for me. Just tell them I'm dead already so they leave me alone! I left for a reason!" She yelled pushing him down. He slowly got up. "I hope your happy, abandoning your pack like this. That's exactly why mom and dad never liked you." He said walking away. "I hate you." She mumbled. "I hate all of you..." She kept talking to herself. "Whoa, what did we just see?" Laurence asked. "I don't even know." I said. "I know your there. You might as well come out before I make you." Alexis growled. "And come out with your hands where I can see them." She added. I raised my hands and walked towards her with Laurence. "What?" She asked. I didn't realize I was staring. "What was all that about?" I asked being as nosy as possible. "My stupid pack, they could all go burn in the nether." She said still full of rage. I felt a pain in my chest. "Well that burning hurt." I said quietly. Laurence was behind me. "Sorry, I forgot you were a shadow knight." She stood and walked towards the woods. "Where are you going?" I asked. "To be with Aaron." She said walking away. I sat there watching the sunset on the beach. Laurence wrapped his arms around me. He put his head in the crook of my neck. "Your Beautiful, you know that?" He asked as I leaned back into him. "I didn't really notice, I've been looking at you." I said. I fell asleep with him, he made me feel safe.
