Rapunzel's POV

I woke up to yelling and grunting. My hands were bound with rope that was rough and scratchy. I tried to kick the towering man next to me, but my legs felt odd for some reason and I couldn't move them properly.

Eugene struggled against the gigantic man that forced him into a sac. It was too dark to see, but I assumed the two men were the Stabbington Brothers. They left the sac slightly open, then advanced towards me.

A figure stood near the door. It was a woman wearing a dark dress. She was just watching the kidnapping like a sadist. She stood as if she was in charge, with her arms crossed and a high head.

The man next to me picked me up and my blanket fell off my body. I was shocked to see what replaced my legs: a tail. As in a mermaid tail. I screamed in horror and before I knew it, I was shoved into the same sac Eugene was in. Then the sac was tied tight and we were being picked up.

"It's too heavy, boss," one of the brothers said.

Eugene and I were toppled on top of each other, making everything very uncomfortable. And on inspection, Eugene had a tail just like me. We flopped around in the sac like fish out of water, struggling to get out. But it was no use.

"Well you should have thought about that before you decided to take these two as well," the woman said fiercely.

"They would have caught us. That Rider is a dangerous one. Trust me," he explained as a door closed behind us. The other brother carrying us never spoke, and no one knows why.

"I don't and I won't. You two are just wasting your time. We have to get these two off the ship before the crew finds out about us."

"Then why do you need our help in the first place? It seems like we're just a nuisance to you," the Stabbington Brother said with a raised voice.

"Shush! This a very delicate and complicated operation. All you need to know is that I need to get to the Southern Isles before Prince Hans leaves for Elsa's coronation. Then and only then, will you two get all the riches you can imagine without becoming kings. Now are you with me, or do I need to turn you two into mermen as well?"

I couldn't believe Elsa was becoming a queen. Hopefully she would be the only person in nearby kingdoms getting coronated soon, because if she was, it would much more easy to find her now.

"We're with you, but what are you going to do with our brother?" He stopped walking.

"Your question surprises me. Don't worry; your little runt of a brother will be fine if he follows my orders. Now throw these two overboard before I do it myself!"

"Yes, boss."

The Stabbington Brothers threw us off the ship without any effort. Eugene hugged we as we went down, trying to protect me from the impact.

"I love you, Rapunzel!" he yelled as we fell through the air. The closed space reminded me of when we were trapped in than flooding cave three years ago. My magic hair helped me, but maybe my magic hands could help me this time to get out of the sac.

I shot both my hands up and prepared for the worse. We hit the water right after my sparks went up. The yellow surge from my hands burned a hole in the sac that was big enough for Eugene and I to swim through. We swan out pretty quickly with our tail-fins.

"I can't, swim that well!" I said as I tried my hardest to keep my head above water. I didn't know how to use my shiny lilac tail well and it was very heavy.

"Did you hear them? That woman turned us into mer-something. I'm guessing we can swim and breath underwater better than we could as humans," Eugene said humorously. We both dove under the water and by our surprise, we could see clear and breath water like air.

"Woah!" I yelled with amazement.

"I know," Eugene responded.

After a few minutes of swimming around and enjoying a small childhood dream of mine, realization began to cave in.

"What are we gonna do?! We're in the middle of nowhere! We don't even know any mermaids, if there is any!" I started to freak out. I didn't know what was going to happen to us. Would we be like this forever?

"You do know some mermaids," a familiar teenage voice said from behind me. I turned around and was so glad to see Melody and Ariel standing, well, swimming right in front of me.

Melody and I swam into a hug and spun around, glad to see each other.

"What's going on? Why are we like this? Can we be turned back?" Eugene asked Ariel.

" It's my aunt, Leia. She turned us into mermaids and put us in the ocean to get rid of us," Ariel explained.

"The Stabbington Brothers, too," Eugene growled.

"We don't know why, though," Melody added.

"We do," I began. "They are going to the Southern Isles. Something about getting there before Prince Hans leaves for Elsa's coronation. And they mentioned that the Stabbington Brothers were related to the prince. Do you two know anything about that?"

"Maybe. They might be the two Westergaard princes that went on the run. Since Denmark and the Southern Isles are so close, we basically know everything about them. But I have no idea why Leia would want to speak with him. This is all a mysterious and complicated plan. I can feel it," Ariel informed.

"We have to turn back into humans and find out their plan before it all goes wrong," Melody said with determination.

I hoped this wouldn't turn into a domino effect. But we would have to be prepared for the worse.

"I might know someone to help us with the human part," Ariel said.

"Who?" Eugene asked impatiently.

"Someone from my past, perhaps."
