In Night

Pragya was sitting on the beach, looking at the sea waves. Her eyes kept on pouring tears, thinking about the unexpected turning point of her life. Everything was going well. Then why did this happen? She didn't get her happy ending in her previous life. Before she could start a life with Abhi, it was snatched away from her and now, she was near to her happiness, her Abhi. But everything came crashing down.

She doesn't know what Abhi is thinking about her. She knows that she is not guilty, but she doesn't have any proof to prove Abhi that she is not guilty. She can't even face her parents. Everything turned upside down in these two days.

What will she do?

One Week Before

Pragya entered her room and jumped happily, thinking about today. Abhi came along with his father to ask for her hands for marriage. She saw her mobile ringing and her smile grew higher, seeing Abhi's name.

Pragya: What was that? I know that you would ask my parents for marriage but I never thought that it would be this soon.

Pragya said excitedly and heard Abhi's laughing sound.

Abhi: Come out. I'm waiting.

Pragya became shocked, hearing it.

Pragya: What? You are here?

Abhi: Now I'm officially your finance. So I can come to meet  you whenever and wherever I want. Come soon. Don't make me wait.

Pragya hung up the call and ran out. Priya saw Pragya running out of the house and was about to stop her, when Ram stopped her.

Ram: Let her go.

Priya: What do you mean by that?

Ram: They are officially engaged. So, they can meet each other whenever and wherever they want.

Priya: But...

Ram: Both are matured and they know their limits. So stop worrying.

Ram said and Pragya kept silent.

Pragya came out and saw Abhi leaning on his car. She ran towards him and jumped on him, hugging. Abhi wraps his hands around her and hugs her tightly, laughing.

Abhi lifts her and twirls, making Pragya giggle.

Pragya: Abhi, get me down. Someone might see us.

Abhi drops her and kisses her forehead lovingly.

Abhi: Come on, let's go.

Pragya: Where?

Abhi: Kulfi?

Pragya smiled happily and got inside the car.

Pragya was eating the kulfi and chatting non-stop, whereas Abhi kept on listening to her blabbers with a smile on his face. Things changed after Pragya came into his life. She changed everything. He was a workaholic once, now he is a love sick puppy, who is madly in love with his Pragya. She is his everything. All he wants is to keep her in his embrace and to protect her from the world's danger.

After eating the ice cream, Abhi and Pragya sat inside the car. Pragya saw Abhi, looking at her with a mesmerized look.

Pragya: Why are you looking at me like that?

Abhi smiled and instead of replying, he pulled her towards him and kissed her lips. Pragya wraps her hands around his lips and kisses him back. Abhi's hands slowly move towards her waist and held it, making her moan in his mouth. She felt aroused in his every touch.

His lips start to travel to her neck, giving butterfly kisses and Pragya gasps, when he finds her sweet spot. She held him and closed her eyes, enjoying his kisses.

After having some make out sessions, both parts away breathing heavily.

Abhi: You are gonna be my end Pragya.

Abhi said breathing heaving and Pragya chuckled.

Abhi: I love you so much.

Pragya: I Love You Too...

Pragya said and Hugged him happily.

Finally, Abhi and Pragya's engagement and Marriage dates were decided and fixed. Both the families were filled with happiness and laughter. Ram, Priya and Neil were engrossed in marriage arrangements whereas Abhi and Pragya were busy romancing each other.

As the news spread, Dharmesh and Shreya came to know about it too. When Shreya was angry and frustrated about it, Dharmesh had some plan on his mind.

On the Engagement Day

Pragya was decked up in a Pink lehenga, looking beautiful and stunning. After getting her ready, Priya turned Pragya towards her and smiled, seeing her daughter with happy tears.

Priya: You look so beautiful my dear.

Priya said, kissing Pragya's forehead.

Priya: I was waiting for this day. I'm so happy for you Pragya.

Priya said and Pragya blushed, seeing her mother.

Priya: Okay, you rest here. I will look at the guests.

Priya said and went from there, whereas Pragya turned towards the mirror, checking on her. She jerked when she felt two arms wrapping around her waist and a kiss on her cheeks.

Pragya: God, you scared me Abhi.

Pragya said, hitting him playfully.

Abhi: Aww... Too rude yaar. I came here to see my fiancé, but who am I staring at now? Who is this beautiful woman?

Pragya blushed, hearing him.

Abhi: Hello miss, who are you? Where is my girlfriend?

Pragya: Abhi stop.

Pragya said and blushed harder, biting her lips.

Abhi: Don't do that and tempt me.

Pragya: Go from here. Ma might come any minute here.

Abhi: I don't care. You smell so good and I'm getting addicted to you.

Abhi said, inhaling her smell and nuzzling her neck. Pragya laughed and tried to free herself from his grip.

Pragya: Okay, be a good boy. Go. I need to get ready.

Abhi: Pragya, I have a better idea.

Pragya: What?

Abhi: Let's turn this engagement party into marriage. Let me marry you right now.

Pragya: You are insane.

Pragya said, coming out from his grip and facing him.

Abhi: You are making me insane. I'm afraid that I would make you pregnant before getting married to you. You are tempting me a lot nowadays.

Pragya: That's enough, now go.

Pragya said and pushed him reluctantly out. Before closing the door, Abhi stopped her and looked at her passionately.

Abhi: Now I'm going. Let me see what you will do on our suhagraat. I swear to you, I will never give you a chance to leave me.

Abhi said with a smirk and Pragya's cheek became crimson red. With a wink, Abhi went from there and Pragya closed the door.

While Ram was greeting his guests, he saw Dharmesh standing along with his daughter, Shreya. Ram was shocked and furious, seeing them. Silently, he went to Dharmesh, who was looking at him with a smirk on his face.

Ram: What are you doing here?

Dharmesh: Oh believe me Ram. The last thing I want to do is to watch your daughter's engagement. I have been invited here.

Ram: By who?

Dharmesh: Neil. Shreya and Abhi worked together in a project and they quite know each other well.

Ram sighs angrily. He whispered into Dharmesh's ears.

Ram: You better be away from my family. I won't be the same all the time.

Ram walked away with a warning glance.

Pragya came down to the hall where the engagement is going to be held. Abhi turned towards Pragya and stood there stunned, seeing her beauty. He winked at her, making her blush.

Pragya came to the stage and stood in front of him. The engagement ceremony started. Everyone stood there with happy faces, witnessing the ceremony. Ram Priya and Neil had happy tears, seeing their children's happy faces.

Abhi slides the ring on Pragya's finger, making her heart flutter. Pragya's eyes became moist in happiness. When Pragya was about to take the ring in her hand, suddenly she felt dizzy. Pragya squeezed her eyes, steading herself.

Abhi: Are you alright, Pragya?

Abhi asked worryingly, seeing her.

Pragya: No, I'm fine.

Pragya said, plastering a smile. She took the ring and looked into Abhi's hands. Everything is becoming blur for her eyes. Dharmesh was looking at all this with a smirk on his face.

This engagement is her dream. After a long time, she is gonna get the life she wished for. She can't ruin it. Taking a breath, Pragya slides the ring on Abhi's finger and the next instant, she collapses on his hands. Abhi was stunned.

Everyone were shocked after witnessing whatever happened. Ram and Priya rushed to the stage. Abhi held her firmly, and shook her shoulders, trying to wake her, but she didn't respond.

Abhi scooped her and took her out of the engagement party. Two minutes before, the party was peaceful and happy. Not everything changed upside down.

Pragya was taken immediately to the hospital. Abhi kept on holding her hand, as tears were threatening from his eyes. He kept on calling her name, asking her to open her eyes. His mother's death flashed in front of his eyes. He can't lose Pragya. He knows that he is thinking like a stupid, but he can't help himself from getting afraid of loosing her.

Pragya was taken inside and the doctors were checking her. Abhi, Ram, Priya and Neil were standing outside. Priya kept on crying, leaning on Ram, who was sitting there dumbstruck.

Abhi was standing near the door, looking at Pragya with tears in his eyes.

Abhi: Hello

Priya: Abhi, It's Priya.

Priya said from the other side. He could feel her tense tone.

Abhi: Auntie, what happened?

Priya: Pragya has gone missing.

Priya said sobbing and Abhi got tense, hearing it.

Abhi: What happened Auntie? She was alright.

Priya: Actually, I was quite distant from her after what happened. As Ram was managing the media with you, he also didn't spend quiet time with her. She was also very silent and didn't speak to anyone. I don't know what she thought about all of it, she is gone. I'm scared Abhi.

Priya cried and Abhi felt helpless, hearing her.
