After weeks of preparing and waiting, it was here. The valentines dance.

Alex had recovered the day after the class went and visited her. Percy found out the Alex knew of another demigod who wasn't in their class, but instead was in the high school. She said that their was another satyr, and that was Nathaniel who had found her. She said she had noticed a change in the monsters being that there were more of them and the art led frequently now too.

But that set aside, Marinette was overly excited for the dance. This demigod stuff was to much for her and she needed a break. Yesterday, she and Alya had found dresses. But unfortunately Marinette was planning on third wheeling Alya and Nino. No one had asked her to go with them yet and it was tonight! She felt sad abou it but pushed it aside. Today was Valentines day. She was going to confess to Chat Noir, no chickening out!

Her alarm buzzed and she woke with a start. She had been tossing a turning all night thinking about it, she was pretty much awake before the alarm went off.

She saw Tikki was still asleep so she shut the alarm off and let the Kwami sleep. She got out of bed and pulled on a sweater with a red heart on it and some grey pants. She grabbed her valentines gifts and put them in a bag. One for each of her classmates and a special one for Adrien.

About an hour had passed and she and Tikki were heading to school. Alya was sitting on the school steps texting in her phone so Marinette went and greeted her.

"Bonjour Alya." She waved. Alya seemed to go into shock.

"The flipable eggs what are you doing here! Your on time for once!" Alya stammered.

"Yep. But still couldn't beat the half God." Marinette smiled and Alya cracked a laugh.

"Right you are." She said happily. The to walked up the steps and into the school. They were early so they had time to put their stuff away. Alya quickly put her bag in the locker and waited for Marinette.

"You go on without me Alya. I think I forgot something." Marinette said cooly. But on the inside she was freaking out. She had forgotten Adrien's gift and instead brought Chat Noir's!

"Whatever you say girl." Alya said and left casually. Marinette checked every pocket she had but the present was nowhere. She sighed boing she'd have to go back and get it. She shut her locker.

"Hey Marinette."

"Gaaahhhh!" Marinette jumped back at Adrien's voice.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." He said looking worried.

"I-it's f-fine."

"Hey, um.. I was wondering. I uh.. I know it's a bit late to ask but um.., do you have a date to the dance yet? I mean, we were gonna go as a group of friends but... you know I...." He asked rubbing the back of his neck. Marinette stood their dumbfounded. She stared at him in silence, her blushed cheeks becoming redder by the second. Finnaly she spoke.

"N-no. Not a DATE date." She said trying to hide inside herself.

"Oh. Um... Would you like to... To go with me?" He asked. Her blush intensified and she smiled sheepishly.

"Um..." She began when someone came in.

"Hello. I'm Percy Jackson. And I totally didn't hear everything you just said." A boy walked in. Percy. He waved his hands in the air
dramatically and took exaggerated steps to his locker looking at them and winked. "Imma just put away muh stuff. Cary on." He said and opened his locker.

Adrien and Marinette blushed. They watched as Percy put his back pack away.

"I um..." Marinette tried to answer Adrien quietly when Percy started humming loudly. Like, really loud. Marinette fell silent and looked at her shoes. Percy dropped a pen (Riptide probably) and it skidded across the floor.

Percy slid on his belly and got it. He slid right in between Adrien and Marinette where he stopped. "Don't mind if I do." He said as he got up standing between them. He waltzed back to his locker and shut it.

"And as always, stay crispy." Percy said doing finger guns at them as he left.

"That was..." Adrien started when the door flew open again. It was Percy. Again.

"Sup guys. Just realized I forgot my English book." He walked over to the locker and grabbed it whistling all the way. He made his way out finally. Just as the doors were about to shut, Percy popped his head back in. "Say yes." He whispered loudly to Marinette before leaving.

"That was weird." Adrien finished. "So..."

"I uh..." Marinette looked at the ground. She didn't know what to do. She loved Adrien AND Chat Noir. If she said yes, could she even confess to him that night?

"It's ok if you don't want to." Adrien scratched his head.

"Yes."

"What?"

"Yes. I'll gladly be your date." Marinette said gaining her courage. Then she panicked on the inside. "B-but I have to go now! I forgot something byeee!" She said and sprinted away with butterflies in her stomach.

"That went well." Plagg flew from Adrien's jacket.

"I guess..." Adrien looked at the swinging doors confused. "ahh what should I do Plagg!"

"What do you mean?"

"I love Ladybug! But then theirs Marinette..." Adrien looked away dreamily.

"I have a solution. Cheese."

"Plagg that's not helpful." He said and grabbed a piece of camembert for the kwami. Plagg gorged on the cheese as Adrien fused through his locker and grabbed his books. He slammed it shut and Plagg his in his jacket so Adrien could walk out.

Adrien strode down the hall and made it to class. He notices Marinette wasn't there. Had he scared her away. He glanced up at Percy to see him staring off into space, lost in thought. He wore a smile. He sure was happy about something.

Adrien sat next to Nino. "Hey man."
"Sup dude." Nino said patting his back.
"Alright class, since today is such a special day, we will be having a fun day!" Mrs. Bustier said as she stood up front.

"oh great." Mumbled Percy. Knowing him, he would summon a demon. As Mrs. Bustier called roll call, Percy leaned to Nathaniel. "Hey Nathan, I heard your part goat."

"What!" Nathaniel said raising and eyebrow.
"Oh common. Your a Satyr. Alex told me."

"Oh my crackers. Why would she do that!"

"Don't worry, I'm a demigod."

"I already knew that."

"Oh..."

"Mr. Jackson, if you and Nathaniel can't pay attention, I will send you to the principal!" The teacher exclaimed. Percy nervously turned back to her.

"Sorry miss." He said.

"Alright, I assume you all brought your valentines gifts?" She continued teaching.

"WAIT!" Marinette barreled into the classroom. "I'm here!" She said nervously shaking at the front.

"Dupan cheng, if you can't make it on time, I think I'll have to have a discussion with your parents. " she shook her head and sighed.

"Sorry miss it won't happen again."

"Alright, every one may put the valentines on your classmates desks now. Be nice."

The students got up and started handing out cards, chocolates, candies, flowers and more. Percy grabbed his simple handmade cards from his back pack, only to see the were soaked in water. "New I shouldn't have taken the Channel." He muttered and put the soggy papers on his desk.

Marinette started handing homemade croissants and macaroons. She set a platter on each desk, then on Adriens she gave a box of heart shaped macaroons and a card. She blushed and smiled, unsure of what to do. Was it a bad idea?

The rest of the period flew by. They looked through the presents and Marinette found Adrien made a her a card with hearts around her name. She didn't know if he did it on every one's just to be fair, but she knew she would cherish it forever.

Class was over. No. The day went by in a flash. Marinette skipped home ready to prepare for the dance. Her heart fluttered and she felt butterflies in her stomach. In fact, she began to feel sick.

Meanwhile Percy was, well, surfing. In his bath tub. He was way off task but hey, it was fun. Suddenly an iris message sparred before him. It startled him and he fell over. He knew what he had to do as the message waited for him. He grabbed a golden drachma from the bathroom counter and threw it in.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow please except this offering." He said as it disappeared in the mist. The rainbow flickered and an image appeared. "Annabeth!" He said, his heart warming with joy as he saw his beloved girlfriend.

"Yes, it's me seaweed brain." She giggled.

"W-what are you-"

"I'm calling to check on you. You haven't died yet right?"

"Nope. All good."

"Hmm. Surprising."

"What?!"

"anyways, it's Valentine's Day today, er, well it's almost midnight over here but whatever. And I want to say, I miss you seaweed." She said blushing.

"I both miss, and love you." Percy said rubbing his neck.

"Your having a dance today right?"

"Yep."

"Can I come?" She asked and Percy fell silent.

"Can you d-do that?"

"Ya. Want me too?"

"Of course I do! I miss you so much I need to see you in person right now!" Percy jumped in his bathtub.

"Then open the door please." She said.

"What?"

"I said open the door. To you hotel that is."
The iris message turned off. Percy slipped in his tub again and fell in the water. He quickly got up and tripped into the bathroom floor. He got up again and skeptically walked out of the bathroom and opened the door to the hotel hallways. There, stood a girl with sandy blonde wavy hair down on her shoulders. She wore a sea blue dress that exposed her shoulders and a silver necklace with a heart at the end and camp beads on it. The dress flowed to the sides, ruffled as poofy you might call it.

"A-Annabeth?"

"Duh." She said smiling. Percy squealed.

"I missed you so much!" He said and ran into her, embracing her in a hug. He gently kisses her neck and pulled away. Both smiled.

"I missed you too Percy." She said almost laughing.

And back to Marinette. She was freaking out because she lost her dress.

"It's right here Mari." Tikki kept saying as Marinette rushed past her.

"Where is it? Where is it?! Where is it?!" She panicked.

"It's right here." Tikki pointed at the white and pink gown.

"Ugg! I can't find it Tikki! It's gone forever! My night is ruined!"

"It's right her Mari." Tikki said.

"Oh no! Adrien will be laughing at me! And I'll be ashamed forever." She said while tearing apart her room.

"ITS RIGHT HERE!!" Tikki flew up to her face.

"Oh..." Marinette grabbed the gown. She looked at the time. "Oh no! Only 15 minutes left!" She screamed. She quickly took of her cloths and put it on.

"How do I look Tikki?" She said looking over her shoulder.

"You look amazing!" Tikki squealed.

"Ugg now I have to do my hair."

"No! Leave it down. It looks nice."

"You think so?"

"I know so. Adrien will love it."

"Oh!" Marinette blushed almost forgetting who she was going with. She went to the mirror and brushed her hair, leaving it down. Then she put a red ribbon in it for "special effect". She
already had her makeup on, but touched it up just a bit.

"Marinette! Adrien's here!" She heard her dad call from downstairs.

"Coming!" She called back. Tikki hid in her purse and Marinette walked downstairs.
There he was. Adrien. Freaking. Agreste. The love of her life. Besides Chat Noir that is. Her cheeks went red as she glided down the stairs elegantly. Adrien blushed as well. He kept looking around nervously.

"You l-look beautiful." Adrien stammered. Marinette blushed even more.

"Y-you l-look nice t-too." She stuttered and looked down.

"Shall we go?" He asked, offering a hand. Marinette took it and they left the bakery, hand in hand.

They entered the school gym which was decorated for the dance. Marinette gasped at how beautiful it was. Then she and Adrien linked arms as the walked down the stairs.

"Maritrash! What are you doing with MY Adrikans?!" Chloe screamed.

"Relax Chloe. She's my date."

"What?!" Chloe was face to face with them.

"Listen here little girl, let go of his arm now or my daddy will cancel the dance!"

"I'm sorry what was that? I couldn't hear
because the musical to loud." Marinette cupped a hand on her ear. "I think the music is telling us to go dance." She said and the slid past Chloe.
