Bella stood there beside Wendy who was laying in bed with tears streaming down her face as she pleaded with Elfman to take her spot in the games.

Bella's heart could not break anymore after hearing the girls cries.

The sad part was that, Bella understood why she was so upset.

it was horrible, being so useless.

If any one could understand what that little girl was feeling, it was Bella. 

bella had found her self in too many positions where she wanted nothing more than to help, but was unable to.

The team walked out of the room quietly.

"I hope this wasn't one of the workers from the three" she whispered as she walked along side Mirajane. 

"hey she is going to be ok" Mirajane said trying to cheer her up. 

Bella sighed a little bit. "I know. I just. I know how she feels right now. You cant.." bella trailed off.

"I know...Im not a mother" she said with a sigh.

"but kids...I've been there. this feeling...this has to be what a mother would feel" bella explained looking over at Mirajane.

"i always wondered, why my mother looked so scared when ever i would...get hurt or...do something that could have hurt me, but i get it now" she said. 

Mirajane smiled at her as the group walked down a corridor. 

 Bella could feel the excitement in the air. It almost made her want to get excited as well.

"Now the time has come to meet our competitors" the announcer said.

The groups all began to walk out.

The placement went like this.

8th place: fairy tail team A

Only the guild roared with cheers for the team.

Bella looked around thoughtfully as she tried to catch sight of the arrogant tiger that wouldn't leave her alone.  

7th place: quatro cerberus

6th place: mermaid heel

5th place: blue Pegasus

4th place: lamia scale

3rd place: Raven tail

2nd place: fairy tail team B

as Bella walked out and they were finally in sight of everyone her eyes immediately went to the guild up in the stand.

Holey shit ghost alert! Alarms were blaring in her head as she stared at the ghost that seemed to be just like a little kid

1st place: sabertooth

Bella looked around. There was a lot of people. The arena was packed.

"Big sis!" Elfman exclaimed.

"Gajeel?" Natsu asked.

"Juvia?" Gray asked.

"And laxus? How is that fair?" Lucy asked.

Bella just smirked.

"Wait hold up I need some answers, somebody how anyone thought it was a good idea for you to be on the team" Nastu asked pointing at bella.

Bella looked up at him with a sigh.

"Don't judge a book by its cover" She said placing a hand on her hip.

"But aren't you still recovering?" Gray asked looking worried. Bella just flips her hair behind her.

"Don't you worry about me. I can handle myself" She said not concerned.

in truth she was a little concerned, but not too much.

Sure she had a week to regain her strength, but she was not sure that she was at 100%.

Only one way to find out though. 

"You know, I think the newly implemented rules may have left our audience a bit perplexed Mr yajama" the announcer said.

"Care to explain?" He asked

"Sure thing" Mr yajama said.

"The committee in charge of the grand magic games permitted each guild to enter two teams, which they felt would make the preliminaries more exciting." He explained.

Lucy looked up at the guild. "Why didn't you tell us, that this was your plan master?" Lucy asked.

Makarov only laughed hard.

"You like that! This is how the fairy tail guild takes care of business baby!" Makarov exclaimed while the guild cheered loudly.

Idiots.

"I'm not really sure the committee really thought this new rule through. I mean this is a team based competition, won't having two teams from the same guild kind of stack the odds?" The announcer asked.

How does that make a problem exactly.

We are still working as a team.

Well some of us.

Bella looked over at Juvia.

"Hmm" Mr yajama hummed thoughtfully.

"You worry too much. to be honest I don't think it will be a problem" he said.

Same.

"Well it's totally unfair if you ask me. Let's say there is an event where each team chooses a member to compete against the others in a battle royal. There is nothing that will stop the fairy tail members from teaming up with each other" they hear a female say.

How the hell is is unfair he just said, everyone had the right to put in two teams.

The first eight that got through were the ones who got to compete.

Did she not listen?

"It does give them an advantage" the announcer says.

"But I guess that's their reward for being the only guild out of 100 with two teams in the games" the announcer says.

Advantage or not we are still going to win.

Mr yajama laughs "you certainly have the upper hand way to go Mocky!" 

The sabertooth guild was introduced as they walked out.

Bella looked over at sabertooth hearing a whistle coming from them. Bella scowled seeing the arrogant tiger from before.

He looked as though someone kicked his favorite puppy. 

"why didn't you tell me!" he said in surprise as he stared at Bella.

bella just smiled waved a little before her hands turned and she flipped him off with both hands. 

"Like what you see boys?" Bella asked staring at Sting knowing damn well he was staring at her.

"That's too bad, cause your not getting it" she added.

"What's a pretty little thing like you doing with a group of losers?" Someone from their group asked.

"aww can the little tiger not stand being around a very gorgeous girl who clearly doesn't give two fucks" Bella asked mockingly.

"well let me tell you what little tiger. even if i was in heat and you were the last male on this earth i still wouldn't chose you" she said with a growl. 

Sting stalked up to her. "ah baby, don't play hard to get. you will be changing your tune when we win" he said with a smirk. 

"ohhh that's where you are wrong lover boy. you are not going to win." Bella replied looking up at him. 

"alright, how about we make a wager" Sting said cockily. 

Bella stared at him a little puzzled and alarmed by the sudden suggestion. 

"if we win. You join the sabertooth tigers and be mine" Sting said with a smirk. 

"hey she don't want you get over yourself" Gray snapped clearly not happy. 

"No ones taking any wager" Laxus growled as Gajeel pulled bella back away from Sting.

Bella stared at him for several moments.  

"you just proved what i said last night" bella spat.

"you only want a trophy girl." she said coldly.

"come one. you know you can do better with us" Sting said.

Bella looked away from him and then suddenly got an idea.

"you forgotten one thing though" she said looking over at sting. 

"oh yeah? what's that?" Sting asked. Bella smirked as she turned and looked at Mirajane and mouthed a 'im sorry' before walking right up to her and pulled her into a deep intimate kiss.

a loud gasp was heard around the arena, Bella was more than surprised when Mirajane obviously got the hint and kissed her back.

Bella gasped when they pulled away from each other. 

"yeah she's mine" mirajane said with a smirk. 

"SAY WHAT!!!??" I hear the entire guild exclaim.

"Well damn. You better get ready to lose then" Sting said with a smirk.

"im down for two girls at a time" he said.

Elfman growled hearing him talking about his sister.

"You better get ready to have a personality change. You are not going to be tigers for very long. You are only cubs" Bella said with a shrug clearly disgusted.

"But hey...We will see" she said and turned her attention to her teammates.

"What the hell was that about?" Laxus asked with a growl.

"Oh...nothing" Bella replied and waited as impatiently as the announcer continued talking clearly not wanting to talk about what just happened.

Soon the teams were directed to another area as the first match was called.

"wait are you like" gajeel said but seemed to be having a hard time finding the words.

Bella looked up at him questioningly.

"Are you...into girls?" he asked curiously. "or was that just for show?" he added. 

"Mainly to shut up that guy, but..eh. I'm not picky" Bella replied with a shrug.

"I'm just glad she got the hint and played along" she added. 

Mirajane playfully pushes against her. "hey i got your back" she said.

Bella smiled back at her as she looked down at the field.

"so...Is there a certain someone in Fairytail that you like?" Mirajane asked.

Bella reddened a little bit. "what no i...I've only been here a week or so" she stammered out. 

Mirajane rolled her eyes and scoffed a little at her words. "oh please" She said crossing her arms. 

Bella sighed and looked down at the battlefield. "i don't know, I haven't been around them long enough to know. The only one I've really been around is you" she added. 

"oh there has to be someone" Mirajane said. Bella shrugged a little bit. 

"i mean...There's Gray, but you know...Juvia...Erza....she's clearly not into that...um.. you are the only other one that i am really around....Do we really have to talk about this right now?" Bella asked looking over at her with a slight whine. 

"what about Natsu?" Mirajane asked. "or Laxus...or Gajeel"

"ew no" Bella groaned forgetting Laxus and Gajeel were standing there, both had annoyed looks on their faces. 

Bella had not meant to make offense to that.

She had watched gajeel and Levi from afar.

Those two were perfect together, plus she had no feelings for the iron dragon slayer.

As for Laxus, "dating Laxus would be like dating my dad" Bella said with a shiver.

"No thanks" she added.

"Your dad?" Gajeel asked puzzled.

"Long complicated story short, my father controls lightening" Bella explained.

Bella watched sadly as everyone walked off the arena.

Gray and Juvia had disheartened looks on their faces as they had clearly lost the game.

Bella sighed sadly. 

"Ok that makes me feel crappy" bella sighed. 

"Bet they are feeling just as crappy" Gajeel said flippantly. Bella nods in agreement and sat down on the ground as the second round began. 

"what are you doing?" Mirajane asked. 

"Not watching the guild being tormented" bella replied as she pulled a deck of cards out.

"wanna play?" she asked as they all sat down curiously.

Bella shuffled the cards and delt out the deck. 

Cheers were hears and some were yells of support.

others were shock and horrified, they looked up at the monitor every once in a while to see Lucy and a red headed woman fighting. 

"Got any 5s" 

"go fish" 

Bella sighed looking very annoyed. "who's idea was it to play strip go fish?" she asked. as they were all half way naked already. 

"I think it is fun" Mirajane said with a giggle. 

They all looked up hearing a scream and their focus was now on Lucy being tortured by the red headed woman. 

Bella gasped out in shock. 

"What the hell!" Luxas said. 

"oh my" Mirajane gasped. 

"FIGHT BACK LUCY!!" Gajeel yelled. 

"that would have been more encouraging if you had clothes on" Bella commented.

"oh look Natsu" she said pointing to where Natsu was running through the crowd. 

"what is he doing?" Gajeel asked looking over at where Natsu was at, however it all became clear when Natsu got to where Auska was at and burned some hair as he yelled to Lucy that she was in the clear. 

"That is cheap, Ugh isn't there rules about that?" Bella asked clearly displeased. 

"I doubt it" Laxus scowled as he crossed his arms it would have looked more intimidating had he not been in just his boxers. 

"well this round is almost over" Bella said as they all went back to their game.

They continued playing their game of strip go fish until the next time one of their members was needed down on the field and that was Bella's.

She stood up and stretched before jumping off the balcony and onto the field. 

"sorry, I was playing a game" Bella said innocently as a new set of clothes appeared on her.
