Running through the forest, she could hear them getting closer and closer.

Her legs were throbbing in pain from running. She could feel her body beginning to slow down as exhaustion began to set in. 

She stumbled out of the trees and onto a road.

she fell down as she tripped over something. at that point she knew she was done for.

She couldn't force herself up even if she wanted to, she was just too tired. 

"hey are you ok?" she heard a female voice ask.

Looking up she saw  blond haired girl standing in front of her. 

"G-Get away!" the girl, Bella, stammered out in fear as she looked around with a look of terror in her eyes.

the blond haired girl looked a little shocked.  

"I'm not going to hurt you" She said in a soft tone as the team looked her over taking in her appearance.

Bella's body was covered in dirt and mud.

Natsu, the pink haired man, was sure he could smell a hint of blood in the mix as well. 

"They will kill you if they see you with me, you need to get away from me" Bella said fearfully. She then noticed that the blond hadn't been alone.

"Who is it?" the red haired woman asked as the group tensed up, but Bella didn't have time to answer as a man came through the trees. 

The man smirked seeing Bella on the ground.

"wore your self out did you?" He asked with a dark laugh as he walked forward.

Bella felt her heart stop for several moments as she looked up at him and then bowed her head a little with a look of defeat.

He was, unfortunately, correct in assuming that she had exhausted her self. 

"Who the hell are you" One of the males spoke up with a growl to his tone.

it sounded as though it was a dragon growling.

Bella shivere at the sound. 

"You children had best run along now" the  man said as he walked forward, he was surprised however when the group surrounded Bella in a protective manner. 

"I don't know what you want with her, but she clearly doesn't want to go with you" the redhead said firmly.

Bella looked up at them in surprise. 

The man only smirked in amusement.

"Fine. if you truly wish to die over some pathetic little girl then who am i to turn down your request. Weather she wants to go with me or not isn't up to her. She was promised to us long before she had ever been born" He said with a smug look on his face. 

"promised to you" Natsu asked with a look of surprise as flames appeared in his hands.  

"Compensation for helping her specific branch of her family in a war. the first born female was to be given to us. She is the first born into their bloodline" The man replied. 

Bella tried to push herself up, but her body was trembling so badly that she had only fallen back down. 

Another man walked up behind the first. "what is taking so long Carter?" The second man asked sounding annoyed. 

"Grayson, These brats want to try and protect the girl" Carter replied with an amused scowl. 

"Then kill them and be done with it" Grayson replied with a scowl as he looked down at Bella.

"AS for you" he added and disappeared out of sight, but when he reappeared he had Bella by the throat and held her up in the air. 

"Holy crap did you see that Natsu!!!" A blue cat that had wings exclaimed in shock. 

"Hey let her go!" The dark haired male who was currently in his boxers yelled. 

"you owe us heirs, and a lifetime of servitude. did you really think you could hide from us." Grayson said tauntingly. 

Bella clawed at his hand trying to pry it away from her throat as she was unable to breath. 

Grayson was taken off guard as a spear made of ice shot through him. she collapsed to the ground as he let go of her. 

"LEO get her!" The blond female ordered as a man in a black suit appeared out of nowhere and scooped Bella up off the ground and quickly made his way over to the group. 

"Hey there Lucy," Leo said as he held Bella in a bridal style. He turned to the men and glared.

"using someone for breeding is disgusting. what is even worse you only want her for a trophy!" Leo growled in disgust. 

"You know these guys Loki?" The blond, Lucy questioned as she looked up at the man in the tux called Leo.

"I've heard things from others about these men" Leo replied sharply and looked down at Bella as he noticed that she was unconscious. 

"this is just annoying" Grayson said in annoyance. 

"I'm going to make you pay. FIRE DRAGON ROAR!!!!!!!!!" Natsu attacked not even listening to his teammates.

He was blinded with rage after hearing Loki's statement. 

"f-fire" Bella mumbled. 

Grayson dodged quickly and appeared up in a tree, Carter on the other hand was disintegrated on sight.

Grayson scoffed. "Idiot" he thought angrily. "You had best enjoy your freedom for now. But we will be back. and you won't get away next time" he said before disappearing. 

"yeah right! i just disintegrated your buddy! you come back for her and i'll do the same to you!" Natsu yelled. 

"we need to get her to the guild hall" Leo explained quickly.  "she is injured badly." he added. 

"no sweat. Magnolia is only a few minutes away" Natsu replied. 

"i wish i could stay and help, But i'm needed up in the celestial world" Leo explained reluctantly.

"it's ok. thank you for coming and helping Leo" Lucy said gratefully. Leo handed Bella over to Gray who took her with no complaint and disappeared. 

"let's get going. hopefully Wendy can use her healing magic" The red head explained. 

"Yeah you heard Erza lets go!" Natsu exclaimed and they quickly made their way toward town.
