Francy's p.o.v

I entered the pin on the door of the apartment building and then pushed the door open, heading straight up the elevator. I rang the doorbell a few times and when he didn't open I placed my bag down to look for the key.

I thought Elric would be up by now.

I got inside and closed the door behind me leaving the bags next to my shoes. The apartment was really bright as the sun was mid sky and entering through the windows strongly.

I glanced at the kitchen and there were untouched sandwiches on the counter.

Okay, so he was up, after all. Then why didn't he open the door? I glanced around the apartment and then saw the door of the balcony open.

Found you.

I peeked my head outside and saw him lazing on one of the chairs, legs up on the other and he was drinking an iced coffee, talking on the phone.

I knew once I got my hands on the balcony it would be his favorite spot to lounge at. He complained that the apartment would lose the cool vibe with me cramping the balcony with flowers and carpets and knitted chairs, sofas and pillows, but every time I would come here, I found him stretched out, chilling in the shaded part of the balcony.

"Yes, I think we need to work more on that character design as it's promising.." He saw me and gave me the brightest smile. He continued talking on the phone but brought his legs down and I instantly tiptoed over and sat on his lap.

"Ahaa.." He smiled at me, giving me a gentle head scratch. "Alright then. Email me the revision sketches. I'll get back to you on that."

He hung up and gave me all of his attention. "Hello there." That amused smirk was always something I looked forward to seeing.

"Heey." I tilted my head and gave him a kiss.

He kissed me back and then looked down at my outfit. Particularly the short skirt. "How was the first day at university?" He brushed my thigh.

"Fun. I can't wait to go again tomorrow." I answered reaching for his coffee and taking a sip.  Ahhh, that was so good. It was hot here on his balcony and wearing this long sleeve sweater was not such a good idea.

Elric was wearing the short sleeve shirt he usually slept in.

"Did you just wake up?" I asked.

"Mhmm."

Elric had his classes start later on, as the second-year students always started a week or two later than the first years. He could still sleep in and focus on his work. But for me that meant he was still free to accommodate my needs.

"I made breakfast. Want me to make you something?" He caressed my back.

"Yes. I'm starving."

"Come on then." He tapped my thigh and I got off his lap.

He followed me inside and then walked behind the counter.

"Where are Mei and Latte?" I asked climbing on the bar chair.

"Latte is sleeping in the treehouse." He pointed at the cat tree in the corner of the living room. I saw his white tail hanging out from the house.

Awww.

"Mei is here." He looked down at his feet.

I climbed over the counter to peek. She was laying on the tiles, sleeping.

"She gets too hot during the day, so this is her new favorite place to nap" Elric said, getting the stuff out of the fridge.

"Cute." I had to squeeze the love out of them later.

"Do you have a lot of work today?" I tapped my fingers on the counter playfully.

"No. I finished most of it yesterday." Elric answered distracted as he made my sandwich. "Unless Ace decided to find another issue we need to work on, but I doubt it."

"So..." I circled around the topic. "Can I stay over?"

He placed the plate in front of me. "Hm?"

"I wanna stay over." I smiled innocently. "It's been a week since I last stayed over. I'm getting lonely."

Elric rubbed the corner of his eye, a grin on his face. "You practically lived here all summer. You missed me that much?"

I picked up the sandwich getting a bite. "Nah, I missed your poor cooking skills."

He circled the counter and sat on the bar chair opposite of mine. "Aha.."

He took a bite out of his own sandwich.  "And if I say no?"

Pfft. Go ahead ..Since when has he ever said no to me?

He swallowed the food. "Ah.. who am I kidding."

I took another bite out of the sandwich. "you love me."

"Do you need to get your stuff?" He asked to know if he needs to drive my ass back home.

I pointed at the bag at the door.

He turned around and shook his head. "You came here with a mission."

"and succeeded." I winked.

After we had food we laid on the couch hugging and I showed him the notes I made during class today.

He asked me all sorts of questions interested in everything I had to say about the university.

"I'll have to get Sole to teach me some drawing and painting since it's going to be mandatory for class"

"You already have a head start." He placed his arm around my neck, and pulled me closer to kiss the side of my head.

"I might come over here too, to study sometimes." I played with his fingers looking up at him.

"You can't focus on studying with me in the same room." He teased.

"Well, not when you're not doing anything. But when you focus on work and blank out you really give out this motivating vibe." I smiled. "It makes me wanna study and be productive."

"I'm not giving you space in the workroom. That way I'll be distracted." He brought my hand up kissing it.

"Relax. You and your computers can keep that space. I'm gonna lounge here in this living room."

"Well, that can work." He tilted his head. "We can have breaks together too. I'll make lunch and you'll make dessert."

I got excited. "We can even go grocery shopping together."

"Of course."

"We can get brie cheese and do those really cool cheese platters with wine."

"Mmm but we'll get one of those really expensive wines cause it tastes better with them."

I gasped. "Are we..made for each other?"

He smirked. "Did you just figure it out?"

I stared at him and then let go of a long tired sigh. "We should just get married. I see no other option. Graduate university and get married."

"Okay. In three years then." He said and then looked for the remote. "Should we watch something?"

I turned my whole body towards him. "No hesitation. Just like that, you agree?"

"Yes.." He was pressing on the remote, turning channels. "I'm just gonna go to Netflix since there's nothing good to watch.."

I narrowed my eyes. "I wasn't joking. I mean it. I'm gonna legalize this. Stamp stamp. On paper"

He placed the remote down and turned towards me. "I've known for a while now that we'll eventually get married, but I figured you'd rather get to 25 first so I have time to come up with a proposal."

I brought my knees to my chest hugging them while staring at him completely in love.

"and when did you realize this sir?"

"I knew I wanted to be with you forever early on. Marrying you came to mind, particularly this spring." He started. " I got really busy with exams and work and could barely function as a human being. I would get home just feed the cats and go to sleep. You would come here just to play with the cats and pay them attention. You made sure I had no expired food in the fridge and would write encouraging messages on stickers and stick them on the fridge. It was adorable. Very wife material."

"That's what made you decide?" I raised a brow. "But I'm always sweet to you like that."

"You also had a bunch of tests to study for, yet you made time for me without complaining and I'm sure you wanted to complain a lot."

"I was frustrated but if I didn't do that, your cats would have packed up and left you and you would have died using expired milk in your coffee."

"Your willingness to keep me alive makes you qualified for a wife."

"True." I smiled.

"What about me? Do I qualify as a husband?"

"Yes you're handsome, that's the only qualification you need."

He pinched my cheek.

"Ouuch."I rubbed the spot. "Fine, you're rich too."

He gave me a reprimanding look.

"Come on you know it already.." I turned my head away. I suddenly felt embarrassed.

"Mmm." He turned my head so I can look a him.

I still avoided eye contact. "There's no special reason. I just love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you." 

He grabbed my face and attacked my cheek with kisses.

"Elric.." I tried to stop him but I couldn't stop laughing.

"I love you so much woman." He practically pushed me on the sofa while covering my face with kisses.

"Stooop." I laughed.

"Really want me to stop?" He stopped for a moment breathless smirking at me.

"No. Spoil me more." I laughed and he kept kissing my face until he got tired.

"Ahhh." I tried to take a long breath myself. I loved when he was being adorable like this. "You know what would be nice right now."

"What?" He asked.

"if you go and make me an iced coffee. I'm too lazy today.." I batted my eyelashes.

He leaned over kissing the tip of my nose. "No problem."

He walked behind the counter again and took out a tall glass.

I leaned over the couch looking at him as he put a spoon of coffee in the glass and then just winked back at me.  I fell dramatically on the couch. He was too handsome for his own good.

His phone rang and he placed it on his shoulder to answer it while stirring the coffee in the cup. "Yes?.. ah you need this review now?..okay.. I'll see them right now. Hold on.." He walked over to the couch. "Let me just take this and I'll get you your coffee."

"Okay.." I relaxed on the couch and tapped on the armrest. Latte who woke up lazily walked over. While Elric was on the phone, for what I hoped was going to be a short call, I picked up Latte and started petting him.Aww he was so fluffy and warm. I yawned, closing my eyes for a second.

When I opened my eyes again it was already dark in the apartment. All the lights were turned off except the one on the balcony.

I stretched out underneath the blanket over me.

Oh, how did this get on top of me? I hugged the blanket. Ah, that cute boyfriend of mine. He's so thoughtful.

I tossed the blanket off and dragged my feet to the balcony. It was chillier than this morning but it was still perfect weather to be able to sit outside.

"seven thirty.." He glanced at the time on his phone. "You really took your time."

"Why did you let me nap for so long?" I wiped the makeup under my eyes.

Elric smirked devilishly. "So you can stay awake tonight."

I leaned on the door frame. How do I win against this sexy man? Most likely he was gaming for the whole time I was sleeping, but as long as he gave answers like this who cares.

"I'm going to take a shower, gonna borrow one of your shirts." I smiled innocently.

"You brought a whole backpack and didn't bring anything to wear?"

"It's all clothes for tomorrow, there was no room for pjs." I explained.

Not that I couldn't bring anything, but in what right mind would I, when I could wear his stuff.

After a quick shower, I changed into his shirt and walked barefoot down the hall.

"Cold beer?" Elric cut my way and handed me his open can.

"Mm sure." I wasn't a fan of beer but I guess I could drink something cold.

I took a few sips and handed him the can back wiping my lips with the back of my hand and letting out a satisfactory sigh. There was something about a cooling drink after a hot bath, that was so nice.

Next thing I knew I was slammed on the wall and Elric was kissing me passionately.

I raised my hands and placed them over his shoulders.

He extended his arm trying to reach the counter and then gave up and left the can on the ground, caressing the backside of my knee, up to my thigh and under the shirt.

"Mmmph." I moaned into the kiss.

His lips lowered onto my neck and the way he was holding me pinned up the wall like this I was starting to blank out.

His hand traveled up my shirt until he reached my bra.

I ran my fingers through his hair and then I started pulling the shirt off his back and over his head.

"Was there anything else that you wanted to do tonight?" He finally said after I tossed the shirt on the ground.

"Two hours of inappropriate touching was on the to-do list for today." I said as he picked me up and carried me to the bedroom, tossing me on the bed.

"Two hours huh?."

I took off my shirt and laid down. "Am I being unreasonable?"

"I'll double that if you give me a break in between."

"Done. I'll throw in homecooked dinner in there too."

"I love the way you bargain." He took off his sweatpants.

"You should see what else I can do."

He climbed on top of me with a smirk. "Okay, that was enough talk." His mouth came down on mine and he kissed me senselessly.

An hour and a half later I was laying in bed with my leg over his shoulder while he was sitting and running his fingers up and down my skin playfully.

"But twix is still caramel." He said.

"So is sneakers. Come on choose. Which one if you had to eat one for the rest of your life." I said.

He sighed. "Okay, I guess sneakers since it has more chocolate to mask the flavor."

I chuckled. "Your turn."

"Okaaay hmm." He placed a kiss on my thigh. "never have anything aesthetic in your room.."

I did not let him finish the sentence. "How dare you.."

He laughed. "You asked for it with the caramel question."

"Uuugh fine."

"Never have anything aesthetic in your room or never wearing pink again."

"Not fair. This kind of question should be illegal." I wriggled annoyed.

He smirked. "Choose wisely."

"well i guess pink will have to go."

"You gave up pink?" He asked shocked. "I'm surprised you dared to say that."

"I mean it's the lesser evil.." I fake sobbed. "Can't believe you made me make that choice. Who am I now? What have I turned into?"

He pulled me down the bed until I was closer to him.

"I love you."

I was still angry. " That doesn't save you."

"I'll exhaust you more later and you'll forget all about it." He was confident.

"and you have to do that thing.." I mumbled.

"What thing?" He asked intrigued.

"That thing you do with the tongue...you did it last time." I glanced aside embarrassed.

"Wait wait..." He was dying out of curiosity now. "Be more specific."

"Well .." I couldn't say it and covered my eyes. ugh, it was too embarrassing.

"Okay, whisper it to me." He leaned over desperate to hear it.

I whispered it in his ear and then pressed my lips tight unsure what he'd say or if he'll tease me about it.

His smirk was sinister-like. "So you liked that huh...I will do it then until you cu....."

I covered his mouth with my hands. "As long as you do it it's a deal."

"Since you were so nice to tell me this openly,  I will also .." He leaned over my ear again telling me what else he wants to do.

"Down for that?" He asked.

I shook my head excitedly, knowing I'll probably not get a wink of sleep for tomorrow, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.

The next morning

I woke up with my alarm and tiptoed into the bathroom to get ready for classes. I was still a bit drowsy and my hair was a mess but I loved waking up into this apartment next to Elric.

After getting ready I walked back into the bedroom and kissed Elric on the cheek. Normally he would either wake up and mumble something but this time he remained glued to the pillow. Poor guy needed some rest. He earned it.

I stood by the bed for a second taking in the view of him sleeping with his sexy naked back exposed like this.

No, this was bad. I need to get to classes. I snapped out of it before I got hypnotized to stay.

I went into the kitchen and Mei and Latte got out of their houses, meowing for food.

"Good morning to you too." I whispered to them and got the cat of wet food out. I looked at the brand. "Damn he loves spoiling you. This is some expensive stuff."

I poured it into their bowls but they were even louder now. "Shh you're too loud." I lowered the bowls on the ground and they attacked the food like they'd been starved for days.

I rose up and straightened my shirt.

"Where are you sneaking off too?"

I looked up to see Elric walking over. He was still sleepy and had only managed to put on pants. He came over and hugged me.

"Did the babies wake you?" I wrapped my arms around him. His back was so warm.

"No. The bed was cold." He kissed my neck. "Why didn't you wake me up?" He pinned me on the counter.

"You looked too comfy." I closed my eyes as his mouth traveled to the other side of my neck.

"You know I don't like it when you leave like that."

I brought my arms up and ran my fingers through his hair. "But I have classes and you always do this."

"Do what?" He kissed my cheek and my neck, his hands going over my chest.

"This." I bit my lower lip looking at him.

A loud meowing broke the tension we had started building up.

Elric pulled away glaring down at Latte. "What?"

Latte made circles around my legs.

"She's mine." Elric tried to nudge him away with his foot but Latte was persistent. Elric picked him up and brought him to his shoulder rubbing Latte's chest.

"He reminds me of Momo when you come over. She loves marking you." I leaned over to pet Latte as well.

"That's because we're irresistible," Elric smirked.

"Ah, you're right."

"What time do you have to be at the university?"

I looked at the time. "Uh, I should have left the apartment ten minutes ago."

"I'll drive you." He brought Latte down.

"You don't have to."

"It's okay. I don't mind."

I leaned my arms over the counter and smirked. "You're so clingy this morning."

Elric looked back at me unsure how to take that.  "I mean.."

"It makes me want to skip classes and take you back to the bedroom."

He leaned his back on the counter looking at me. "Will you?"

"No. But it feels nice when you do get into this mood. I'm so used to your independent side that when you get like this I feel loved and needed."

He leaned over to whisper in my ear. "Then do you want me to stay in this mood for the rest of the day?"

I raised my brow. What exactly did he have in mind?

He suddenly placed a kiss behind my ear. "After classes today I will drive you back here. Stay here one more night."

"I thought you were going to hang out with Ace and you were going to call over your university friends tonight? "

"Well, we can call over you girls as well, that way you can be here and then stay one more night. " He kissed my neck. "I want to hold you longer and tighter today."

My stomach turned in excitement. "Well then guess I have no choice. I'll just have to spoil you."

He raised his head with a smirk. "I'll go get dressed then to drive you. Give me some time."

He left the kitchen and suddenly realized it was very hot in the apartment. I waved my hand in front of my face. Mei and Latte were down beside my feet looking at me with their little glares.

I shook my head. "Don't judge me okay. I'm weak when it comes to good-looking men."

Latte meowed in a judgemental tone.

"Ey you should know." I clicked my tongue over my teeth. "That's why I spoil you."

He gave me a nod and then cuddled up to Mei who seemed to like his affection.

Guess this love thing was contagious.
