The sunlight awoke you, despite my attempts on covering your eyes. I groaned, remembering that today is the first day of school. 'Already?'

Turning to the other side of the bed, I reach out for your phone. '5:14 am...' I yawn, stretching out my arms and legs.

"Well, I guess I have to get up now. Don't wanna be late for school, heheh." I quietly reminded myself.

I slowly walked my way towards the bathroom and washed my face. Glancing at the clock again, it told me that it was only 5:16 am.

Wiping my face with a towel, I walked out of my room and skipped down the stairs. "Morning mom!" I shouted, returning to my old giddy self.

"Ah, good morning, my child! Breakfast is almost ready, I suggest that you should go and prepare your things first." replied Toriel, my dear mom.

"Okay mom." I smiled up at her before going up the stairs. Into my room I went, I grabbed my backpack that is neatly placed inside my closet, and prepared some of my stuff.

• "Notebooks, check!"
• "Pens and pencils, check!"
• "Fillers, check!"
• "Bullet Journal, check!"

I thought to myself for a moment. I feel like I'm forgetting something... Oh, of course, the book!

I quickly snatched it underneath my bed, and placed it inside my bag. My textbooks are already in my locker at school.

I grabbed my towel and walked into the bathroom. Turning the shower on, I shampooed my hair and washed my body.

A few minutes later, I am finally done. I went out to dry myself and put on my uniform, grabbing my backpack along the way.

I went to the table and ate some toast and eggs. "Thanks for the breakfast, mom! See you later!" I told my mom as I hugged her.

"It is no problem, my child! Off you go now, don't want for you to be late now, don't we? Hee hee." I giggled along with her.

"Okay mom. Bye!" I said while walking out of the house. "Goodbye, my child! Be careful!"

With a smile upon my face, I replied, "I will!"

Today's going to be a long, and tiring day....
