We reach a tunnel in the rode.

"Are you sure they are in there," Jorge says

"If I was Thomas I would be running into that place as fast as I could," I say

"There are going to be cranks in there," Brenda states

"I know that's why I have this," I say holding up a large gun.

We drive through a little while until we see the crashed jeep, I gulp in fear and hear a shriek come from the tunnel.

"Let's go!" I yell and we keep driving.

I see Thomas newt and fry surrounded by cranks so we drive up to them then stop temporarily, I stand up out of the back and start shooting at the cranks.

"Get in!" I scream and the boys hop in the car, we drive past the cranks and out of the tunnel.

"WHAT THE HELL," I scream looking at them.

"I'm sorry y/n we had to find Minho for you," Thomas says

"Oh woah thanks for risking your life for my Minho Thomas," I say calmly, they get confused by my sudden calmness.

"BUT WHAT IF YOU SHANKS DIED!?!?!" I screamed shaking Thomas by the jacket.

"And you," I say looking at newt, he's eyes full with fear as I grab onto his shirt.

"You encouraged this, I swear if you get yourselves killed, I while kill you," I say letting go.

I sit back shaking my head. We drive through the mountains for a little while.

"Hey I didn't want to bring you guys into this," Brenda and me roll our eyes.

"I think what he's trying to say is thanks for saving us," fry says

"Your welcome," I say

"That was the main entrance for getting into the city, if that was over run the city probably is too," Jorge says

"Unless the found some other way to keep the cranks out," newt says, I look over to where newt was looking and my eyes widen, "holy-" I say as Jorge looks and slammed the brakes on.

What we saw was a large city surrounded by very large walls it was completely protected from anything getting in, or out. We all hop out to look at it better.

"Funny, we spent three years behind walls trying to break out now we're trying to break back in," newt says I turn to him and raise and eyebrow nodding and hoping back into the car, "yeah hilarious," I say.

When everyone hops back in the car Newt nudges me and I look at him.

"You really think he's in there," he ask and I nod, "that probably means she's in there too," he says I take a beep breath.

"I know," I thought about Teresa and how she betrayed us, I wasn't going to worry about that right now though.

We drove through the ruins outside of the walls, there was a crowd of people marching towards them, a protest. The people crowded the car so we had to go on foot. I grab Thomas's hand as we walk through the crowd of people.

A car with masked people drove past us with a man yelling through a microphone yelling things like: "they keep the cure to themselves" or "they think they can keep us out" one of the masked figures starred at us as it passed.

"That's it that's our way in," Thomas says pointing over to a wall entry, we all walk over to it to see people screaming things and holding signs walking towards it.

"What the hell did we get ourselves into," fry asks

"I don't know," newt says

We get to the edge of people and I see WCKD ships flying above us.

"Y/n?" Newt says

"Yeah," I say

"Look," he says I look around to see the same masked figures from before circling us.

"Guys we got to go now look," I say, everyone sees the people walking towards us and Jorge pulls out a gun. Suddenly a loud sound comes from the walls.

Large missiles come from the walls and a panic bursts out. People scream and run the other direction as explosions go off all around us.

We run then the masked men grab us and put us in vans, I get put in a different van as Thomas and I begin to panic.

"Thomas!" I scream

"Y/n!" He screams back but the people push us in and drives away. We're driven into a abandoned mall.

(Thomas's POV)

I watch as the second van drives up 'y/n has to be in that one' I thought. As soon as it stops it begins to rattle and the back doors swing open with a guard flying out of it, I watch as Jorge and y/n attack the guard.

"WHERE IS HE!" Y/n screams punching him in the jaw

"WHERES BRENDA," Jorge screamed.

"Hey hey hey, I'm right here," I say, y/n let's go of the guard and jumps into my arms. I hold onto her legs as she pulls our lips together. I pull away setting her down.

"God I love you," he says

"I love you too shuck head," she says.

"Everybody relax we're on the same side here," a masked figure says, his voice was familiar.

"What do you mean same side who the hell are you," I say, the man stands and waits for a little then removes his mask to reveal... GALLY?

(Y/n's POV)

I watched as the man who killed Chuck starred right at me.

"Gally?!" I say

"Hey y/n," he says, suddenly without thinking I punch him as hard as I possibly could. He falls back and I go in for another punch but Newt and Thomas hold me back.

"Y/n stop stop stop," newt says

"He killed chuck," I yelled

"I know, but he was stung," he says and I stop struggling stepping back.

"I might of had that coming," Gally says

"You know this guy?" Jorge asks fry

"He's an old friend," fry says

"How, I watched you die," newt says

"No you left me to die, and if we hadn't found you when we did, you'd be dead too," Gally says, "What the hell are you doing here,"

"Minho, WCKD has him here," Thomas says

"I have a way in, follow me," Gally says, we hesitantly follow him to a room.

"He doesn't get much visitors so... let me do the talking, and don't stare," He says 'what's wrong with him' I thought.

"Gally I heard what happened," a man that looked like a crank with no nose said.

"Now who are these people, what do they want?" He asks

"We're looking for WCKD they have our friend, Gally said you can get us through the walls," Thomas said

"Gally shouldn't make promises he can't keep," he says, I look at Gally disappointingly and he rolls his eyes.

They speak about getting in for a while, and they make a deal.

Gally leads us to a hole in the ground and we go down.

"This is gross," newt says as we walk down the sewer

"Try to keep up," Gally says.

We walk through a door which leads us to a crowd of people walking along the cement path. We run past a car and hide up against a wall.

Me, Gally, Thomas, and Newt all head to a large wall where Gally helps me and newt up but Thomas gets up on his own not wanting his help.

We walk along the edge of a very tall ledge which leads us to the rail of a large building, Gally pulls out a telescope and looks through it focusing it.

"It's completely surrounded by guards, on every floor," Gally says

"Sounds like a bloody fortress," newt says

"I thought you said you had a way in," Thomas says

"I said I had a way in, I didn't say you'd like it... take a look y/n," he says pointing to the telescope, I step towards it and look through it, there I saw teresa, the girl who left her friends to work for the people who hurt us most. I stepped back in disbelief and shake my head.

"No there has to be another way," I say as Thomas takes a look.

"Do you have a plan that doesn't involve her?" Gally asks

"I-I... no," I say sighing

As we get back we all stand around the table and plan it out.

"No, no there has to be another way," I say, newt was zoning out.

"How, she is literally the only way in," Gally says

"Isn't this the same girl who betrayed us?" Brenda says

"Y/n what's going on," Brenda asks, I sigh.

"What your afraid your little bestie is gonna get hurt," newt says

"Excuse me," I say in disbelief

"This is obviously never been just about rescuing Minho... teresa," he says standing up and getting closer to me I step back, "she's the only reason Minho's missing in the first place," he begins to yell and I stand up against the wall scared.

"Now we finally have an opportunity to get him out and what you don't want to because of her?!" He says, I stand there speechless in fear.

"Because deep don't inside you still care about her, just admit it
y/n," he says but I don't say anything

"Don't lie to me!" He yells pushing me up against the wall. I see the anger I his eyes and gasp.

"Don't lie to me," he says then backs up realizing what he did, he grabbed his arm and walked out, "I'm sorry," was the last thing I heard him say.

I stood there in shock and Thomas walked after him.

(Thomas's POV)

I watched as Newt sat at the edge of the building looking off in the distance. I walked up to him.

"Sorry about that, is she alright?" He asked me

"Yeah just a little confused," I say

"Guess I can't hide this anymore," he says lifting his arm sleeve revealing he had the flare, I sigh with a pit in my stomach. I sit down next to him.

"You should tell her," he says, "all I know is that WCKD put me in that maze for a reason, maybe it was literally just to see the difference between people like me and immunes like you," he says

"We can fix this," I say

"Don't worry about me, this is about Minho," he says

I walk back to talk to y/n, she comes up to me from sitting up against the wall.

"Is he alright," she asks

"Yeah he said he's really sorry but y/n...," I pause, "he has the flare," she stands there without a movement or sound, she steps back and shakes her head breathing heavily.

"Hey hey it's ok we will get a cure for him," I say.

"What if there isn't a cure," she says in panic.

"We will save him I promise, we will save them all," I says, she nods but walks off.

(Y/n's POV)

I want to burst out crying, but I can't. I go up to newt and tap him on the shoulder, he turns around and I stare at him in sadness.

"I-I newt, I-" he cuts me off by pulling me in for tight a hug, a tear runs down my face and he pulls away.

"It's ok y/n, I'll be ok,"
