Dirty Shopping and Telling the Fans
(Jane's POV)
"I like the black one," I whined, pointing at a long black, leather couch in the furniture store. It's been only two days since I stumbled back into Texas and Gavin surprising me with keys to my...our apartment. It was still strange to know that Gavin and I now live together, but in a way it feels right. The only things we had was Gavin's bed from Geoff's and silverware, so I begged him to come with me. "It's bigger than yours and comfier." I jumped on the sofa, laying my head back.
"Yeah, okay, but mine won't stick to your legs during hot summers or become bloody cold during the winters. It's velvet." He plopped down on his across from mine. I smirked and walked over to him and sat next to his body as I leaned my lips to his ear.
"I bet you would look great fucking me on mine though." His face was priceless as I whispered to him. His green eyes widened and his cheeks blushed furiously. It's always fun to say something dirty to him.
"Is this healthy for the baby?" He asked and I raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"You know, talking dirty? It might make him or her a total horn dog in the future." He said, making me laugh and lay against his shoulder as other customers looked at us with questioning eyes.
"Then they'll definitely get that trait from their father," I said, poking his cheek. "So, black one?" I grinned and as he contemplated for a long while, he finally gave in and I cheered by doing a silly dance, making him laugh at my goofy celebration. The sofa would be delivered to our flat in a couple of days, so we headed out to collect more things.
We went to more stores, buying black and white plates and cups, a coffee maker, some red towels, and some white sheets for the bed. I even bought pregnancy books since I had no idea how to even prepare to be a mother. I couldn't believe that I would be having a child in a couple of months and not just mine, but Gavin's as well. I was hoping to be a parent, but I thought I would later on--not at 23 years old.
"You okay?" Gavin asked as he stood in our kitchen while I put away our dishes. Burnie allowed me to use his car even though I still don't own a license, but I was going to change that since I was going to have a baby and hopefully, Gavin will also get his.
"Yeah, I just can't believe we're going to have a baby...and get married. Also us living together." I chuckled, leaning back against the counter. Gavin made his way to me, kissing my forehead and smiling down at me.
"I never thought I was ever going to reach this point in my life, but I'm glad I am, especially with you," He kisses the tip of my nose, making me giggle and bury my head in his chest. "I know it's a lot to take in, but just remember," He lifted my chin with his hand so I stared into his eyes. "I'll be here with you through everything."
I stood on the tips of my toes and kissed his alluring lips, feelings his tongue enter my mouth and brush against my bottom lip, having me moan and run my hands up his chest to his neck. His hands move to my thighs, gripping them tightly to lift me up onto the counter and stand between my legs. His cold hands run under my purple dress to my lace underwear underneath, toying with the sides and slipping his finger through the them.
"Here?" I asked breathlessly as his lips skidded along the underside of my jaw.
"It's our place, why not?" He laughed and began to slide them down my legs before throwing them over the kitchen island into the living room. The kitchen connected to the living area, kind of like Michael's, so it was bigger and more open.
"You're gonna have to pick those up." I smiled as his lips came back to mine. I heard him unbuckle his trousers and slide them down.
"Oh, I will," He said as he slammed into me, having me gasp lightly and tug roughly at his hair, moving closer to him as my legs wrapped his waist. His kisses became sloppier with each thrust, his tongue working its way through my mouth and I couldn't hold back the fevered moans that relinquished themselves into the open kitchen. "Hopefully...this doesn't hurt the baby." He grunted and I couldn't help but laugh, making me gasp in pleasure at the same time from his stupid comment.
Gavin moved me so my back was now touching the cold, hard surface of the granite countertop. He kept one hand on my hip as he leaned over to keep kissing me, his hips moving against mine and I brought my hands to his face as he kissed me.
We were about to reach our highs, as we heard something click below us and a loud rumble.
"You just turned...the washing machine on." I said, chuckling as the noises filled the room.
"I guess I attract machinery as well." He grinned lazily, making me laugh again between gasps as we finally reached our climax and he laid his head on my chest. I pushed him back to get off the counter and I brushed my dress down as I turned off the machine. Gavin pulled his trousers back up and grinned to himself as he looked at me.
"You are so beautiful," He said, kissing me lightly and trailing a finger down my cheek. When he pulled back, he pulled out his phone, his breathing still uneven as he held it to his ear.
"What are you doing?" I asked as I went to retrieve my panties from the living room.
"Ordering pizza." He shrugged and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"What?" I laughed.
"Sex is hungry work." He said, making me laugh and chase him down our hallway to the bedroom where we spent the remainder of our time as we waited for our food.
________
"I thought I'd never see this place again." Bree said, laying herself down on the tan carpet that covered the living area. Gavin went with Ray to do a live stream, so Bree and I were stuck together. My thoughts traced back to when Gavin and I fought a few days ago. He said Bree knew--she knew about my pregnancy and I was slightly mad at the fact that she ruined everything, but also happy that she noticed the signs before me.
"Yeah. I still can't believe Gavin did this." I say next to her, my purple dress, where only a few hours ago was being gripped my Gavin's strong hands, pooled around me in a lavender bloom.
"He really loves you," she giggled and sighed before rolling on her side and lifting herself on her elbow to look up at me. "So, when's the wedding? Since I'm the Maid of Honour, I need the details so I can help plan." Her smile was bigger than a fucking Snicker's bar.
"Um, I'm not sure yet. This just happened over a week ago, so it's still a little early," I shrugged. "What about you and Ray?" I've always wondered if anything would happen.
"We've only been dating a little less than you guys, so I don't know. We're still a little rocky after the whole fight and miscarriage mishap, so marriage doesn't seen like an option at the moment." Her tone was curdled with a him of sadness and longing. I thought they mad such a cute couple and I wanted nothing more than to see Ray ask her for her hand.
"Actually, it's seems like that would be the right thing to do. Oh God, what if we had a double wedding?" I smiled as her brown eyes widened and she practically jumped up into the air.
"That is, like, my dream! Anything that has to do with the both of us usually is! Please wait until I get my ring." She giggled as she sat down again, resting her head on my shoulder. "That would be the best thing on this fucking planet. Well, along with you being pregnant and all." Her body tensed when she realised the wrong words that flew out of her mouth. "Oh fuck! Why did I say that?" She covered her eyes with both hands, but moved them away and laughed.
"Bree, it's fine. I know." I nodded and her eyes widened again.
"You do?"
"Yeah, I took a test because Carrie got the impression that I was pregnant. Fucking bitch was right and she stole my damn beer." I said with a sarcastic attitude.
"Who's Carrie?" Bree asked. I forgot I never mentioned Carrie or Danny or even meeting McFly to her.
"A girl I met on campus. We became good friends," when her eyes narrowed I smiled and patted her shoulder. "Not as good as you and I." I chuckled as she rolled her eyes and got up to go to the kitchen. I do miss Carrie and Danny a lot. They were good friends to me and I seriously wanted them to be here alongside us. I would have to give them a call.
"Ew. Why is your bloody counter already sticky?" She asked and I knew my cheeks were a furious shade of red from her words. "Oh, it's just syrup." She said. I forgot Gavin attempted to make pancakes a day ago and knocked over the tub of syrup while he was at it. Fucking idiot.
_______
(Gavin's POV)
"You're so dead." Ray chuckled as he crashed my bike in GTA V with a van. We've been playing for a good hour on the stream and I really am starting to get pissed off with his team winning. It was him, Jack, and Joel against Brandon, Caleb, and I, making this even fucking worse.
"Ray, you are such a pussy." I rolled my eyes.
"I am what I eat." Ray stated simply, making everyone laugh.
"So, Gav. When are you planning?" Joel asked and I gave him a confused glance. The guys all seemed to be getting the memo and each wore a ridiculous grin on their faces.
"Planning what?" I asked and Brandon sniggered.
"Your big day?" Caleb hinted and being the fucking idiot that I am, I still don't know what they're talking about. Are they messing with me? What's going on?
"What?" I shot down Jack in the game, making him huff with annoyance.
"Your fucking colonoscopy, that's what," Joel said, the room erupting with laughter once again. "We're talking about your fucking shindig with Jane, asswipe!"
"Joel, shut up! We haven't come out yet!" I was shocked. We were going to stay secret about this to the fans for a little while because it wasn't their business anyway. I wanted to enjoy my peace with Jane and our friends instead of having the bloody world know about our engagement. Joel and his big bloody mouth just had to go and ruin it.
"It's too late now, Gavin. Might as well own up to it." Jack chuckled, getting me back by hitting my head in with a baseball bat.
"Fine. Yes, Jane and I are engaged. Happy, you arseholes?" I shot them all a glare and they both smiled their own stupid grin. I knew that when Jane found out, she would be pissed. Her Twitter is probably blowing up by now. Great.
________
(Jane's POV)
"God damn, you need to get a bloody telly or something because I'm bored!" Bree groans from her place on the carpet, while I spill the angel hair pasta into a pot on the stove.
"You can help me?" I teased her and opened the small container of dark red sauce.
"That's too much work." She huffed. I smiled to myself as I stirred the pasta. I didn't realise it but when I looked down, my hand was placed against my flat stomach, my thumb rubbing against the fabric if my dress.
"I hope my kid doesn't take after you." I chuckled and she finally stood up and came over to me.
"Oh please, that kid will be fucking amazing if he or she turned out like me. They'd be lucky." She rested her head on her arms as she leaned against the table. "Speaking of that, do you want a boy or girl?" She tilted her head to look at me better.
"I don't care, honestly. As long as it's healthy and fine," I shrugged and turned down the flames on the stove. "A boy though would be awesome." I smiled and turned to her. Just in that moment my phone buzzed with a Twitter notification.
@AHLOVER to @JaneFromDownUnder CONGRATSS!!
"What?" I furrowed my brow and opened my phone to the Twitter app. I didn't notice but tons and tons of people were saying 'congrats' or 'I'm literally dying'. I was even receiving a few hate messages and I don't even know why. When I say the word 'engagement', my eyes narrowed and I felt my muscles tense.
______
I waited for Gavin to come home--Bree was already gone after our tense dinner. I couldn't believe Gavin told and especially when we both said we would wait. It's only been a damn week and he's already making decisions without me.
I'm in the bathroom, brushing out my pink hair and tugging down my large pyjama tshirt, when I hear the front door open. My anger is fueled once more from the memory of earlier today.
"Hey," Gavin smiled as he came into the bathroom, a bouquet of lilies in his hand. My eyes narrowed slightly and I knew he would figure out that I had gotten the news. "I got these for you."
"Hm." I said and combed out the remaining curls before striding past him into our room.
"I'm guessing you found out." He didn't even say it in a question because he knew.
"Oh, yes," I sighed and turned back to him, arms crossed. "What part of keeping a secret don't you understand, Gavin?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Look, it's wasn't me--"
"Seriously?" I almost laughed.
"Joel and Caleb were hinting about it to the audience and I was feeling pressured and annoyed so I didn't really have a bloody chance," He ran a hand through his hair and placed the flowers down on the bed before enveloping me in his arms and kissing my hair. "I'm sorry."
I sighed and nodded, laying my head against his chest. Fucking Joel and Caleb. God damn idiots. I was going to have to talk to them later. "It's fine. Sorry I made assumptions without asking you." I said. He kissed my forehead for his answer. I moved away so I could pick up the beautiful white flowers, the fragrance they gave off was very lovely. "I'm gonna have to put these in the sink for now, but I'll buy a vase online." I smiled at him.
As I moved past to do so, Gavin grabbed my wrist and I saw an amused glint in his eyes. "That can wait. Right now, all I can think about is how great you look in just my shirt." I was wearing one of his long shirts and I almost blushed as his green eyes raked over my body and lingered on some areas. "Mind if I rip it off you?" I giggled as he tossed the flowers to the side and threw me over his shoulder to the bed.
