"Hey, do you know who this Jordyn girl is?" I passed my phone to Gaten who frowned in confusion.

"Nope, never heard of her." Gaten replied. "Ask Noah."

I walked to Noah who shot me a wink as I approached him.

"Finn, thought I'd never see you talking about that girl again." Noah smirked and crossed his arms.

"Wait, what? You know about this?" I show him my phone. "What the hell are you up to, Schnapp?"

"Nothing, I totally didn't ask for that girl's instagram that you bumped into at Dunkin." Noah smirked. "And I totally didn't give her your instagram to torment you."

"Noah, I swear to god if Nessa ever finds ou-"

"Find out what?" A sweet voice interrupted me, turning around I swear I gulped so hard.

"Nothing." I blurted out quickly and smiled at her as Noah smirked.

"Hey Nessa, can I talk to you for a minute?" Noah started.

"No!" I interrupted as Nessa gave me a confusing look. "I- I mean- uh, I need to tell you something first."

"Okay?" Nessa scratched the back of her nape and tilted her head to the side.

Cute.

"Let's go discuss this in our room," I quickly dragged her to our room and shut the door.

"No, we aren't making out. Come on Finn! You're already way too thirsty for my liking." She said as I turned around to face her.

I chuckled lightly and shook my head, "Yeah, that's not what I was going to tell you."

"Oh." Her cheeks turned into a deep red as she sat in the bed. "So what was it that you wanted to tell me then?"

"That I-" I began but shortly stopped. I didn't plan this out, crap.

"Well then?" Nessa looked a little irritated. "Spit it out, I have to meet up with some old friends after this."

"That, I think we should break up." I blurted out with a gulp. Shit, that wasn't what I meant to say! What do I do now? Keep it going or what? Why did I have to say that? I already lost her!

She stood up slowly and tilted her head to study my face.

"What?" Her face broke out in a deep confusion.

"I love you Nessa." I say. "But you don't love me, and I can live knowing that but I cannot date someone who will never have the slightest chance of loving me back."

"What do you mean by that?" She spat and ran her fingers through her hair. "How do you know that I wouldn't have a chance to ever love you back?"

"Because you're in love with Jaeden." I replied. "And you will always be in love with that bastard, just like he'll always be in love with you."

She took a step back and looked down, I could feel the thoughts running through her mind as it screamed for help. It hurt me to see her this way, so broken and helpless.

"I-I-m not in l-love with him." She spoke.

"Now you're just pulling a Bill Denbrough." I shot her a small smile and took a step closer to her. "Don't lie to yourself, its going to bite you in the ass a few years later."

"He hurt me, and I don't need that sort of negatively in my life." She stammered.

"But sometimes you try to learn how to stop loving someone." I explained. "You don't really stop loving someone, you just learn how to live without them."

"Fuck off Wolfhard," She gritted her teeth. "Don't do this now, not when our birthdays are so close."

"I will always love you Vanessa Stewart." I confessed. "But as a friend."

A tear rolled down her cheek as she let out a low sniff.

"I love you too Finn, as a friend." She bit her lip as the tears streamed down her face and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. "You made me smile like I haven't in a long time, I'll never forget about that."

"Now, is it okay for me to go chase this other girl?" I asked, slightly being afraid because I didn't want to move on so quickly. Maybe what Noah did was the right decision, he was just looking out for me and I think he knew that Nessa wouldn't get hurt.

"Of course, you could never hurt me." She pulled away and opened the room door, stepping out and letting her heels click on the marble floor just outside the room. "Go chase her, she'll be the most luckiest girl."

And with that, she was gone.

Just like she was for the rest of my life after this visit, but that's another story for another day.
