Chapter 23

          "Did she somehow escape?" I shrieked as I showed my phone to Matt. His eyes widened and turned back at Finn.

          "What the hell!" Matt shouted. "Why would she comment on your photo, Finn?"

          "I-" Finn said completely speechless. "Fuck, I have no idea."

          "This could be extremely bad!" I blurted out. "I-I mean, why else would she draw attention to herself again?"

          "Hold on!" Finn exclaimed as he dug his face into his phone more. "She go out off on good behavior."

          "Shit, Matt just drive!" I exclaimed. 

         Matt drove faster but safely and made it to the house. 

          "Enable the lockdown!" I exclaimed and raced to my room. See I don't want to brag, but we have high security in this house due to past break ins and it's just a mess in general. We installed a lockdown mode that highly secures the house and barricades the areas where theres openings. 

              The house quickly turned dark because of the blocked windows, I held a flashlight and wandered through the halls holding Finns hand. We made it upstairs and saw Cam banging the door to his room.

                 "Come on! I had my chip bag in there! Theres only one bag left!" He argued.

                 "Shh!" I smacked Cam in the head.

                 "Whats happening?" He mouthed as Matt ran up the stairs.

                "Come to the man cave." I mouthed back.

               We all went to the middle of the second floor and slid down the slide to the right, we made it down and turned on 1 light.

           "We just found out that Lilia is out of jail, out of good behavior apparently." Finn said. 

           "What the hell! She didn't even get the help she needed in that amount of time in prison!" Cam exclaimed.

          "Sh!" Matt and I warned. 

            "Listen Cam, Lilia could be lurking around our neighborhood or around certain places we go too.  We know what she can do," I explained. "We have to be careful, all of us because who knows if she'll hurt you guys to hurt me."

              "Got it," Cameron nodded. "Can you disable lockdown so I could get my bag of chips."

               "We have to develop a plan!" Matt suggested. "We need to be prepared."

              "Im too tired to even function at the moment." I chuckled.

             "And I want my bag of chips." Cam said climbing the string of ladder . 

            We all laughed and followed after him, setting the security to medium because I didnt want to die.

              "I dare you to kiss Finn." I read the paper in my hands as the camera zoomed into my face. "Ugh! Wyatt stop zooming in!"

           Wyatt laughed contausiously and smirked back at me, fuck Finn was right next to me.

           Y'all are probably confused right now, basically I needed a new youtube video so I wanted to play truth or dare and Wyatt of course picked the tweets. I was playing with Finn, Loren, Sadie, Gaten, and Sophia. 

         "My ship is finally sailing and Im thriving!" Sadie got up and ran around the room.

         I looked at Finn sheepishly with a awkward smile, he just smirked at me. 

          "Pucker up Stewart, Ive only ever kissed one girl in my whole life." He said and put his arm around me. 

          "Thats a lie," I chuckled with a scoff. 

          "Okay shut up-"

          "Moving on!" Loren tried to save me.

          "Uh, Uh!" Matthew walked into the room. "The paper dared you to kiss Finn and this is truth or dare! Do you not know how to play."

             Finn gave me a goofy smile and suddenly out of nowhere he pulled me closer to him and our lips connected slowly. I felt my stomach flip in different ways and my feet tingle. I brought my hand to his cheek as felt his lips on mine. I didn't even get to hear anyone else in the room because I was focused on Finn. I could feel a smile as he kissed me back so gently, he was a good kisser I had to admit.

Suddenly he pulled away and smirked at me, high fiving Matt. 

             "What-" I started as I come to realization and looked around and saw all our friends with mouths wide. 

             "MY SHIP!" Cam ran into the room. "They finally kissed!"

             "Not you too," I facepalmed myseld as a small hitn of red entered my cheeks. Fuck.

             "So, Nessa." Gaten cleared his throat. "Is Finn a good kisser?"

            "We're cutting this out of the video." I shook my head.

             "Aww, why," Sadie plopped onto the chair behind us. "#Fessa is my life."

            "I wasted my once in a lifetime kiss with you?" Finn scoffed. "Wow, fantastic!"

           Finn got up from the chair and ran up the white marble stairs. Damn it, why did it have to end like this? I glanced at Loren who was sipping on the straw that was inside a Starbucks cup. She sure was having some tea in her life.

I turned to the camera and looked down.

"That's the end of this video." I said softly. "Bye."

              Wyatt's jaw dropped as he stopped recording, I quickly ran up the stairs like Finn did. I needed to fix this, I don't even know why he was so upset! I mean it was just a kiss! Just a kiss! And the reason behind wantig to cut that out was because the fans would have na whole riot on the whole thing!

            I bursted into the room and closed the door with lock, I turned around and saw Finn with his head resting downwards on his palms.

         "Finn.." I started.

         "No don't, Nessa." He replied and looked up. "Im fine."

         "Then why did you run up here?" I questioned. "Why did you seem so upset?"

        "Its nothing." He responded and turned away.

      I walked towards him and made him look at me, "I have lived with you for 2 years, don't give me that bullshit."

      "Yeah, once you tell me what's wrong with you!" He snapped. "Tell me Nessa, tell me why were you so sad at rehearsals."

           "I miss my mom!" I shouted back. "I miss her so much, and I just wish I could have been there to save her when she fell! I could've prevented this, anyone could've but she still left me! I won't be able to ask for her good advice or have her come to my music video shoots. And I feel like I shouldn't be talking about her a lot because I'll annoy everyone."

        Finn's face softened and hugged me tight. "I'm sorry, I know it hurts so much because she's your mom. And you talk to me about her whenever you want. I'll be here."

"Thank you Finn," I replied and embraced his hug. "I love you."

I felt Finn freeze and then pull away strangely.

         "About that.." Finn said and looked down. "I love you too..."

I wrinkled my eyebrows in confusion.

        "Is there something wrong with saying that?" I asked.

         "No I-," Finn stampered. "Its just that, I love you but not in a brother, sister way... I love you like you're the love of my life sort of way."

Holy shit....
