I stared at Toby, my heart racing. Everything about him was telling me that he was about to shake my already fragile life; although I wasn't sure if it would be for the good or worse.

His words puzzled me even more. I could sense that Morna trusted Toby. And I knew that he was being honest with me. So, I met his gaze as I forced myself to calm down. "What do you have to tell me, Toby?" I asked softly, watching as his body tensed even more.

"When you first shifted, the doctor took some of your blood. It's customary to check and make sure that the wolf is in top health. Anyways, when I first saw you," here Toby's voice grew softer, "I was struck by the fact that you greatly resembled my mother. It was quite unnerving."

He gave me a smile as he continued speaking. "When you told me about the dreams you had for as long as you could remember, my hunches were almost confirmed in my mind. Yet, I had to be completely sure. So, I went to Dean and told him everything that I was thinking over. He offered to help.

"Dean told me about the blood that the doctor took from you after your first shift and he suggested that we compare it to mine."

"Why?" I couldn't help but ask. Toby didn't seem to mind the interruption. "Comparing my blood with yours was the only sure way I knew of that would tell me if my hunches were true or not. The results came back just as I had suspected they would."

"And what did the results tell you, Toby?" Silence followed my question, but I could tell that he was just trying to get his thoughts sorted out. Keeping my mouth closed, I watched him. He sighed and met my gaze.

"The results told me that your name is not Cleo. In fact, your name is Georgiana Eleanor White, and..." Toby's eyes filled with tears that he wouldn't allow to fall as a bright smile graced his face. I couldn't help but smile in return, though his words were confusing. "You are my sister. Those dreams of yours weren't dreams, just memories of the life you had before you were kidnapped."

I just stared at him, shocked. Surely he was joking, I thought. But as my eyes searched his, I saw only the truth. "You're my brother?" My words barely registered as a whisper as I felt my eyes burning with unshed tears. But as Toby pulled me to him, his arms wrapping tightly around me, I felt them fall for the first time that I could remember. He didn't say anything as he held me tightly against his chest, letting me cry.

"Yes Gia, I'm your brother." Toby's voice was just as soft as mine had been as he rocked me slowly. I was hit with a memory of Toby holding me tightly against him as he rocked me slowly, humming a little tune as thunder and lightning made me jump. I felt safe with him, just like I felt safe with Gabriel.

Finally, the tears stopped and I slowly pushed away from him. "Do Mom and Dad know that you found me?" I couldn't help but ask, my mind bringing up their smiling faces so full with love and laughter. A sad look crossed over Toby's face as he slowly shook his head. "I'm sorry Gia. Mom and Dad died several years ago."

A wave of pain that she couldn't describe washed over me, my heart cracking. "H-how?" I managed to get out, wishing I didn't as Toby's face darkened. "Dad somehow managed to find a lead that might have panned out with us finding you. He was tracking a rogue, actually managed to corner him. They fought but the rogue had a few tricks up his sleeve.

"He stabbed Dad with a silver blade, inches from his heart. But he didn't expect Dad to return the gesture with the same blade. Dad managed to cut his face, neck and chest; he got him good. Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough for that scum to die. Dad barely made it back to the pack where he was staying before his heart gave out.

"Mom passed a week later. She was taken and abused pretty bad. No one had any idea that she was missing. We all thought that she was gone on one of her little weekend trips like usual. When we found her body, there was a note and a picture attached to her." Toby stopped as he rubbed his jaw slowly.

"The rogue that kidnapped you when you were just a little girl, he took and killed Mom for what Dad did to him," Toby said softly as his eyes finally met mine again. My mind pulls up the worse night that I had spent with the master. His face sported an angry red looking scar that ran down to his chest. He had almost killed me that night after he had personally come down to my cell to retrieve me. I shuddered at the memory, pushing it away.

He was dead and couldn't harm me anymore, I told myself as I looked around. Looking towards the house, my eyes land on a worried looking Gabriel standing just inside the kitchen, his eyes glued to me. I gave him a weak smile and I watched as he instantly relaxed. "He cares for you Gia." Toby said suddenly, causing me to jump.

"Who?"

"Gabriel," he said waving towards the house. "That man cares for you deeply. He would do anything in his power just to see a smile on your face." I felt my brows lower in confusion as I swung my gaze back to my brother.

"Why would he do that? Besides being your sister Toby, I'm nothing special." I say softly with a shrug of my shoulders. It had been something that the master had installed into each of his 'girls'. We were nothing, yet we belonged to him.

"Because my dear little sister," Toby said as he laughed softly. "Gabriel is your mate." I shook my head as my eyes snapped back towards the kitchen, confused. Mate? I had a mate and it was Gabriel?

"How can you be sure if he's my mate?" I asked softly. Though Morna was letting me know that what Toby said was true. Why she didn't let me in on this little bit of information earlier, I don't know. "When you're with your mate, you feel safe, you feel like you're home, complete. If you want to know more, when you touch there's sparks that seem to run through your body when you both touch. And then there's his scent, it'll call out to you like no other. But that's only if your mate is a werewolf that's already shifted."

I felt Toby shrug as he talked, his voice soothing my mind. As I continued to stare at Gabriel, I tried to figure out what I should do next. There was no way that he would want me, I was too broken, too scared. And once he learned my darkest secret, he would leave me. That thought had fresh tears forming in my eyes as I tried my best to blink them away. This day was not at all what I had been expecting.
