Dark clouds overlapped bright orange sky. Not just ordinary dark clouds, but clouds which signals the upcoming storm. Two lovers who were left behind by their friends stayed at home because it seemed the female doesn't feel very well...or so it seemed.

"I can't believe they left without us! Seriously, what kind of friends are they?!" I huffed frustrated.

"A storm is coming anyway. We wouldn't be able to enjoy on the beach."

"Hmph. In their faces."

In case you don't know what's happening, which you probably don't, our friends which you probably guessed, the nine rookies, left us for the beach. We planned this outing together a week ago and now they left us because we woke up late. Both Sasuke and I were exhausted from last night's activity. Oh, have I mentioned? Probably not. All of us live in a bungalow together. It is much fun living together than live with our families. No offence, but we lived with the for half of our lives. We need a break.

Sasuke chuckled at me childish behaviour and sighed.

"What do you want to do?" He asked.

I slumped on the couch and switched on the television.

"Food.."

"You sure are lazy, aren't you?" He smirked. Gosh, how I want to wipe that off his face.

"Blame yourself. You made me all sore!" I blushed a tint of pink and looked away puffing my cheeks.

"But it was enjoyable..right..?" He sat next to me and whispered seductively on my ear. I blushed scarlet and punched him playfully on the chest.

Urgh! This man!

Suddenly, lightning stroke followed by a strong crash. I jumped from my seat and flung my arms around Sasuke. His arms were immediately wrapped around me.

"Woah. You're afraid of thunder crashes?" His strong muscular arms tightened around my shaking body.

When I was about to open my mouth to answer, another crash is heard. I yelped and squeaked a 'Yes!'

Sounds of raindrops crashing down our roof can be heard. It was pouring outside. It was so loud that the roof top would fall on us any minute now. When I was terrified enough, our little shelter blacked out.

"YOU HAVE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" I cried.

"Chill.. Shh.. It's okay, Sakura. This storm will be over soon. Just hang on." He rubbed my back soothingly.

The room lit up a little when the sky flared. Before I know it, Sasuke had his palms pressed against my ears. A small trace of crash was heard after that.

That was when I love him more than I had. Even though this is a small matter, a stupid fear to have, he tried to protect me from it.

"Sasuke-"

"I know what you're going to say. No matter how small this is, you're still afraid of it. I want to protect you in any way possible because I love you. I will do it in a heart beat. Always."
