Captain James post ODST team 4

The pods dropped out of the ship and in a minute they hit the ground. The hatch opens on my pod and I grabbed my equipment and my rifle. While starfleet uses there fancy phasers we on the ground use actual guns with bullets and My MA-37 is ready for a fight. My team forms up with the young Jedi and we set out to the clones forward operating base.

When we arrived the Jedi girl met with the Jedi generals. We related a message through the endeavor to the Jedi temple saying they need reinforcements and can't go anywhere. They where happy to hear that the federation will have reinforcements on the ground in about 20 minutes.

The clones of the 501st legion and the 212th battalion where a lot of fun. The sound of the pelicans flying down with scorpion tanks and warthogs only made things more fun. First they dropped the vehicles then they landed one at a time and the marines ran out with there gear. Some got into the tanks and the warthogs where parked out of the way.

Captain Rex was very impressed but not as impressed as general skywalker. It turns out that the reinforcements came just in time as in the distance a massive energy shield was spotted in the distance and it was getting bigger.

"General skywalker. General kenobi. Let me and my team take out that shield. We can slip in and out undetected and destroy it."

"I agree. Someone needs to take out that shield. Okay captain I'll go with you."

"We've never worked with a Jedi before sir. It sounds like fun. The boys and I already have a plan on getting past the droid forces. We will take two warthogs around them. We cross this bridge to get to this road and cross this bridge. That should put us behind enemy lines. From there we walk to the generator to avoid traps and we set charges on the shield generator."

"That's a very good plan captain. Let's get going."

General Kenneth shepherd

A Jedi general, the padowan and the ODST's drove off with two warthogs as I got off the pelican. I went to speak with the other Jedi general who was still here. I lit a cigar and walked over.

"Im looking for the Jedi general. My name is brigadier general Kenneth shepherd."

I extended my hand and the Jedi with white armor and Jedi robes shook my hand.

"I'm jedi master obi-wan kenobi. I must say it's nice to meet you general we where in desperate need of reinforcements and your timing couldn't have been better."

"I noticed that the ODST's went off to blow up that shield. Maybe we should buy them some time."

"I agree. Let's make use of the buildings to draw in some of the droid forces and use those vehicles you brought to fight the advancing tanks?"

"A smart plan general kenobi. I don't think that shield will be effective against projectile weapons. Maybe I'll look into that. Let's get to it you take some of your clones ahead to do that building idea while the marines mop up the tanks and slow them down. We can set up the warthogs as a first line of defense for the battle droids that get past the scorpion tanks. Once the shield is down blow them to hell with those heavy cannons you have."

"Good luck general."

General kenobi and a bunch of his clones ran off ahead and I ordered five scorpion tanks to get ready for battle. The shield passed over the scorpions and it was like the advancing droid forces hit a wall that was going to chew them up and spit them out. I couldn't see much at the distance I was at but I seen all the scorpion tanks and in front of them explosions and fire. After awhile the shield shut down and the scorpions backed up and the heavy cannons opened fire on the droid tanks. As this was happening republic gunships flew overhead. When general kenobi returned he had the confederate general. The droids shut down and the battle was over.

Captain Alexander Mehaffey

The battle was over and the enemy fleet jumped out of the system. This was probably the fastest I've ever seen a campaign end but I'm glad.

"Captain I have admiral Forrest.

"On screen."

On the view screen admiral Forrest was sitting at his desk.

"Admiral Forrest. What can I do for you today."

"Captain I need you to go to earth. The president of the federation is going to the republic supreme chancellor to discuss the war effort. I need you to escort his ship the USS Washington. Your to link up with the USS hood, USS New York and the USS enterprise."

"Yes sir. We should be at earth in a few days."

"Thank you captain. Forrest out."

The screen returns to a view of space.

"You heard the admiral set a course for earth. Let's make the jump to hyperdrive to jedha then we will jump to warp from there."

"Yes sir course laid in. Ready to make the jump to hyperspace."

"Let's punch it."

The ship jumped into hyperspace and a few hours later we exited at jedha and jumped to warp with our corse for earth. It took two days to reach earth. When we arrived we where ready to go but upon seeing the damage done to the endeavor admiral Forrest decided that were better remaining at earth for now until the ship can be repaired. The crew enjoyed there r&r and shore leave on earth and earth space dock. Starbase 1 was moved to the edge of federation space when the new earth space dock was built and now starbase 1 sits as the gate to the federation. I looked to the dry dock next to my ship and noticed a new ship being built. I was looking at both ships from admiral Forrest's office window.

"Nice isn't she."

"New class?"

"That's the newest ship in the fleet being built. It'll be the most advanced and fastest ship in the fleet. Meet the constitution II class starship."

"Constitution II? I don't understand."

"As you know the constitution class starships where once the backbone of starfleet. The most famous was the USS enterprise and became the federation's flagship and symbol but another constitution class ship made the biggest discovery and made the biggest first contact in federation history."

"The original USS endevour discovered the galactic republic on one of her 5 year missions. I know the story."

"In honor of the constitution class of old that's very very outdated we're launching the new class as tribute to the former jewel of the federation while giving it a modern flare to it."

"Got a name for her yet?"

"Not yet but the name Yorktown is floating around right now. We won't know for sure until it's launch ceremony."

"Since the endeavor is a week away from being finished repairs do you have any orders for us?"

"Anxious to get back out captain?"

"You know me sir I hate being in one place too long."

"Well you're in luck starfleet intelligence has learned of a confederate super weapon. We want you to investigate it with the republic."

"What ships will be joining me?"

"You're going to be joining up with the USS hood, the USS Indianapolis, the USS Vancouver. And a republic fleet."

A few days later and we found ourselves back in republic space. Clone intelligence tracked the weapon to the Abregado system. The hood, Indianapolis, Vancouver and the endeavor where sent to reinforce general plo koons fleet.
