As I awoke, I found myself in a rather ultramodern room.

To be honest, it was a bit stylish and well maintained.

No time to be admiring the room, I have to terminate Edward Evanston, as ordered by the 12 Celestial Orders!Then, the door opened, revealing Edward.

"Finally awake I see" He says.

"What do you mean? How long was I asleep?" I ask.

"When I knocked you out, you were asleep for 3 days. It was honestly the first time I attempted to knock out a person. Sorry about that. Anyways, I thought that if you woke up, you might be hungry, so I made some croissants filled with strawberry cream"

To be honest, the croissants actually smelled good. I didn't detect anything poisonous so why not try one?

"I'll take you up on that offer" I say, eating a croissant.

I must admit, for a reincarnation of a demon lord, he sure knows how to cook.
