Day Five - Prompt: Bro code

SPOILERS AHEAD! Duh?

Time Period: In Lucis while Noctis is absent

Back Together Again

Gladio tightened his little pony tail in the back of his head, sighing softly. He walked into Hammerhead's resturaunt. He noticed a familiar blonde sitting at the bar. "What a sight for sore eyes." He commented, patting the blonde's back and sitting at the stool next to his.

The blonde turned to look at Gladio, smiling gently. "Gladio! Long time no see."

"Say, Prompto, have you seen Ignis lately?" Gladio asked, resting his elbows on the counter.

"Oh, last I heard he was moving up towards Lestallum." Prompto explained. "Why, what's up?"

"Just wanted to know he was alright." Gladio replied, looking down at the counter. "He's out there in the dark on his own, without his vision." He shook his head gently.

Prompto was quiet for a moment. "H-hey. What do you say we take a trip up to Lestallum? See if we can get the gang back together."

"It won't be the same without Noct but...why the hell not." Gladio shrugged, looking at Prompto.

Prompto's face lit up and he smiled brightly. "Really!? Alright!"

Gladio chuckled gently. "Let's get going."

It had been about a week and a half of fights with daemons before the light of Lestallum grew clear. Once they could see the light well enough, the two made a run for it. 

Arriving in the large industrial town, the two started to just walk around as tourists. The times were different in this area, as well as other areas. Lestallum had become a crowded area of refuge for the masses, versus Hammerhead which was developing as a safe haven and cargo hold for hunters. 

After wandering most of the town, Prompto decided to ask the man who ran the food stop if he had seen Ignis around. "Oh yeah, he ate here a couple times."

"Well where'd he go?" Gladio asked in response. 

"I'm not sure, but he sure did talk to Holly a lot. You'd be better off asking her these questions." The vendor explained. 

So the two made their way to the back end of Lestallum where the power plant was located. Luckily Holly was just standing back there, but even more lucky was that Ignis was there with her. "Ignis!" Prompto shouted, running up and hugging him. The suddenness of this hug caused Ignis to nearly lose his balance. Gladio casually followed behind him.

"He's not the only one here." Gladio commented. A smile could be heard in his voice.

"Prompto, Gladio! How good it is to hear you both again." Ignis smiled, Prompto letting go of him so he could stand straight. 

"You really made it all the way here on your own." Gladio said towards Ignis. He sounded proud. 

"I did, though it wasn't easy. Good thing I remembered where camp was." Ignis replied.

"I'm sorry Noctis can't be with us." Prompto chimed in, sounding disappointed.

"It's alright Prompt." Gladio replied, "We all miss him."

"Still a team though?" Prompto asked hopefully.

"Always a team." Ignis responded proudly.

"Even when we're apart." Gladio added, just as proud.
