Klaus Mikaelson felt angry with both the annoying vampire in front of him and himself. The hybrid was so caught up in taking care of the two vampires that hurt his soulmate that he didn't stop to think about how Ella would feel being alone. Especially, with the traumatic events, she just experienced. Or even considered, the possibility that Katherine was there.
The hybrid ripped the gold heart necklace off the vampire's neck which caused the doppelgänger to flinch. Scared of the hybrid, the vampire stood very still not wanting to upset him any longer.
Katherine had seen Klaus angry lots of times, always feeling both scared and amused. But nothing was amusing at this very moment. The vampire suddenly regrets ever getting involved with this new doppelgänger. She was better off anywhere else.
"Where is she? What did you do!" Klaus snapped holding the necklace in his palm, not taking his eyes off Katherine. He hoped Ella was safe and unharmed but the chances of that were very low.
"Nothing, she ran out, I swear! She's...alive." Katherine hesitated knowing she had injured the human badly. But at that moment, Katherine hoped the human was alive.
Klaus immediately noticed the hesitation in her voice and took her arm. Holding it very tightly the vampire winced in pain. "I slammed her against the wall okay! And she hit the mirror, hurt her face pretty badly."
Immediately looking around the room, Klaus saw the shattered mirror on the floor and saw drips of blood. That sight made him feel sick, Katherine had injured her.
Injured his Ella who didn't deserve any of this. Her life should be perfect but it was anything but that.
His soulmate had been badly injured two days in a row because of his carelessness. The constant calls from his family were also no help in keeping him concentrated.
"You hurt her?" Klaus snapped and Katherine looked at him in disbelief. Not understanding why he cared so much.
"Why do you care? Isn't her purpose to create my hybrids...unless she's something else to you." Katherine stops noticing the worry and anger on his face.
"You like her?" Exclaimed the doppelgänger vampire even if her statement came out more of a question that only angered the hybrid.
"Where is She, Katherine!" The hybrid snapped again and this time Katherine told him.
"She was bleeding, I assume she went to a hospital. I'm sorry, I didn't know she was with you!" Lie, Katherine just thought she could get away with playing with him.
"You're lying. What did you want with her in the first place?"
Katherine looked around nervously, "I hadn't thought that far, I just wanted to know why there was another doppelgänger when it hasn't even been 500 years. Isn't that odd...suspicious even?"
"It doesn't matter, Katherine. You should have minded your own business." The hybrid snapped looking all over the room, looking for her phone. But sighed when he saw it lying on the floor.
Klaus stood still for a moment and turned to look at the vampire, his face not showing any emotion. "What did you tell her?"
Katherine's eyes widen for a moment, "not much, I swear! I just told her again the curse and why we were created for...and oh."
Klaus slowly walked towards her, and Katherine met his eyes. "I told her about Amara-" she flinched when Klaus threw a flower vase next to her head. "In my defense, she asked! I simply answered."
The hybrid already sick of hearing her voice, stood in front of her and grabbed her neck. "I swear Katherine, if anything happens to her because of your stunt. I'll kill you slowly and very painfully."
Before Katherine could say or do anything, Klaus snapped her neck.

Estella Henderson had just been examined and the doctor had taken out the small pieces of glass out of the side of her face. Ella was angry, hurt, and mostly sad.
For the first time in a long time her life was going well...perfect even. But everything was a lie, what if everything the lookalike said was true?
Was Klaus using her this whole time? Was she just a replacement for his true love?
That question hurt the most, Estella wasn't a stranger to getting asked out. Although nothing stuck, Nik felt different and Ella's romantic heart thought she finally found someone good. Turns out, she's awful at picking guys because they always end up playing her like an idiot.
When asked by the nurses what had happened, Ella simply replied, saying, she tripped over her dog and slammed into the wall. No one believed her but no one said anything.
Ella was given painkillers and was told she could leave after getting the side of her face patched up. So the doppelgänger walked out of the hospital but wasn't sure where to go.
Still afraid of Katherine, the human didn't want to go home and find her there. And she also didn't want to go back to Nik's place, not ready to face him.
Ella let her insecurities get in the way and decided not to bother Kimberly or any of her friends so the human decided to just walk around Chicago in the dark.
Afraid, and cold the human walked shivering in her pajamas. At least it had stopped raining, despite not having any money the human doppelgänger decided to walk into a small diner where the waitress knew her.
As Estella walked in, she immediately felt the warmth and sighed in comfort. The older waitress, Beth let out a small gasp when seeing one of her regular customers walk in cold and bloody.
The older lady immediately rushed over, "Estella, honey what happened?"
Estella shook her head and gave an innocent smile, "You know how clumsy I can be Beth. I tripped and bumped into a mirror." Gesturing to the side of her face, "And this happened."
Beth immediately guided her to a table and sat her down, "Oh honey, that must have been painful. Sit down, are you hungry? I can get you anything, on the house." The lady asks, noticing the young girl didn't have anything on her.
"Can I just get a hot chocolate?" Beth immediately nodded and rushed to get her the beverage and a jacket from the lost and found area. Knowing that was better than nothing.
At that very moment, a very old vampire walked into the dinner wanting to eat something after a couple of days on the road. Stefan Salvatore immediately smelled a faded scent of blood and looked around to see who it was coming from. Lately, his control has been very good so he wanted to see where it was coming from and sit as far away from it as possible.
But, the vampire stood in shock when he saw a very familiar face. His immediate thought was Katherine, but there was something from off about that. And it couldn't be Elena, since she was back in Mystic Falls married to Damon and a vampire.
Stefan slowly walks over, wanting to get a better look at the girl. It has to be Katherine, the vampire thought as he got closer since there couldn't be a better exclamation.
The waitress Beth walks out heading straight to the doppelgänger with a black jacket and gloves in her hand. "Here, Ella. I hope this helps, I don't want you to freeze."
The girl puts the jacket on, giving the older lady a soft and grateful smile. "Thank you, Beth."
Ella? Ella...Ella. Stefan's mind starts to race, many thoughts circulate in his mind. Another doppelgänger? That isn't possible yet there she was.
The human still stuck in her mind, she begins to play with gloves until one falls on the floor.
Stefan quickly notices, he grabs it and stands in front of her table. Surprised to see someone she didn't know approach. Feeling paranoid, she gulps and slowly takes the glove from his stretched hand.
"Thank you, uh..." Ella says playing with the glove. Stefan smiles, getting flashbacks to when he met Elena.
"Stefan Salvatore." He stretches his hand out to shake hers, Ella smiles and takes his hand.
"Thank you, Stefan. I'm Estella...Ella." The girl was shy and paranoid, which she should be. The side of her face was only the start of her troubles lately.
"Lovely to meet you, Ella. Would you mind if I sit down with you or will you have company?" The vampire asks wanting to talk to this new doppelgänger.
"Please, I could use the company," Ella says frowning, hoping that Stefan was normal like her. Since he didn't mistake her for Katherine or tried to attack her. That was a very good start.
Stefan sat down, and immediately gestured to the side of his face, "Are you okay? What happened?"
Ella let out a sigh but smiled, "That's a very long story, you wouldn't believe me if I told you."
Stefan gave her a puzzled look, something was telling him this doppelgänger knew about supernaturals. He also figured someone who hated Katherine or even Katherine herself did this to the poor girl.
"Try me."
Ella gave him a small smile but shook her head. The human decided to casually change the subject. "Are you from around here? I've never seen you here." Gesturing towards the tables.
Stefan shook his head casually, "Just passing through, I'm actually from Mystic Falls."
That caused Ella to give him a confused look, "I've never heard of it before, small town?"
The vampire nods, "yeah, what about you?"
Estella was growing comfortable around him, especially since he was helping her and getting her mind off earlier events.
"I'm from New York, but I moved over here for my job." Stefan gave her a curious look that made Ella smile, "I'm a fashion designer, I work for Kingsley boutique."
Stefan gave her an impressive look, "impressive, most girls I know shop there. Especially my girlfriend, Caroline."
"I'm glad, I love working there. Everyone is very pleasant to be around."
Before Stefan could say another word, the door slammed open, and both the human and vampire turned to see what caused the noise. Both look at the familiar person who just walked in.
Klaus was glaring at Stefan, getting more frustrated. Was he in on the plan with Katherine? Why can't he and Estella get a break?
"Klaus," Stefan mumbles causing Ella to flinch looking at the person sitting in front of her. Stefan looked at the doppelgänger face and could see she knew Klaus as well.
"Did you do this to her face?" Stefan snapped at the hybrid, not afraid to defend the girl he just met.
"How dare you accuse me of such a thing-" Klaus snaps both angrily glaring at each other.
"You're right, you would do way worse to her-"
Ella looked around and could see multiple eyes on them so she got up and started walking out the door. Not wanting to deal with the pair at the moment.
Both men stopped and watched as she walked out the door, they looked at each other before rushing after her.

Author notes: I'm SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER! I honestly have writer's block and wasn't sure how to continue. Since I'm not following the show, and making things up as I go. Somehow Stefan found himself in this chapter.
I hope that's okay and I hope you enjoyed that. He's one of my favorite characters so I thought why not.
I hopefully may re write this, if no one likes it. Not sure how I feel about it yet. More Katherine and Estella coming though!
Anything you hope to see in upcoming chapters?
