Kevin was not dumb.
He knew what he was doing and how he was doing it.
He wanted to hurt Mitch.
More like kill.
He wanted Scott to suffer the same way he did. Alyssa didn't deserve to die. She never hurt anyone so why was she one of the first ones to die?
Mitch deserved to die first.
Scott has the chance to protect Mitch from dying while Kevin didn't even have the chance to do the same with Alyssa.
It.
Wasn't.
Fair.
Kevin sighed to himself, shaking his head as he thought about Mitch. He grinned the weapon in his hand, breathing heavily as he put in his jacket. He walked out of the house, shaking his head as he locked the door.
"You're getting what you deserve, Mitch," Kevin hissed angrily, walking over to his car. He slammed the car door, his plan ready to commence. "You are going to feel my pain, Scott. No one will know how I feel until they lose someone they love. And that person is Mitch."
With that said, Kevin drove off.
Mitch would never know what caught him.
Good for him.
~~~
"No! No! Please don't!"
"Come on, Mitch! It's just for fun! It'll all be over!"
Mitch sobbed as he backed up, hitting his back on the wall that was behind him. All he felt was a strong hand around his neck and the weapon the attacker had.
The weapon that would end his life.
"Say goodbye, Mitch."
The weapon went down.
And Mitch screamed.
Scott gasped loudly, hoping that it was just a dream. It can't be a vision.
Right?
He breathed heavily, looking over to the left side of the bed to see Mitch sleeping peacefully. He almost sobbed in relief, kissing Mitch's nose sweetly. Mitch wrinkled his nose a bit, smiling in his sleep as he hugged Scott's waist tightly. Scott smiled, brushing the soft hair back and released himself from the kind touch, Mitch whimpering from the loss. Scott shushed him, kissing his forehead to reassure Mitch that he was still here. Mitch smiled a bit, hugging Scott's pillow to have some sort of comfort while sleeping. Scott smiled, looking back at his love before leaving the room.
"I love you, beautiful."
He walked out of the room, making his way into the kitchen when Wyatt hopped off the couch. The cat rubbed his body against Scott's lean legs, making the baritone smile softly. He bent down to pet the chubby animal, laughing quietly.
"Good morning, you fat lard. You're happy today."
The cat mewed in response, walking back to the living room. Scott shrugged his shoulders, getting ready to make something when the doorbell rang. He walked over to the front door, smiling when he saw Kevin on the other side.
"Good morning, Kevin," Scott remarked happily, letting the muscly man in. Kevin nodded, smiling graciously. "You're up early. What's up?"
"Oh, I was just wondering if I could drive Mitch to therapy. You look like you could sleep for a bit," Kevin pointed out, looking over to see Mitch with his hair in a bun, his glasses placed delicately on his face, and t-shirt that went above his knees. "Look who's up!"
"Good morning, Kevin," Mitch replied sweetly, Scott's pillow in his arms. Kevin nodded, his plan coming along nicely. "It's therapy time, uh?"
"Yes and Kevin offered to drive you over there!"
"Oh, that's nice."
After Nicole's death, Scott decided to put Mitch into therapy with Mitch's consent. It was a hard decision, but Mitch agreed to do so in hopes of getting better. Today is his first day and he honestly cannot wait to attend the meeting.
But he was hoping that Scott would have been the one to drive him to his therapy meeting. He felt like there was something wrong with Kevin driving him there.
But it's Kevin. What would he do? Kill me?
"Let me get ready," Mitch spoke up, smiling warmly as he went back to his room. Scott smiled at his retrieving back, looking back at Kevin to see a troubled look on his face.
Kevin looks like he's hiding something. He can't be the one in my dream...right?
"He needs to be there by eleven thirty," Scott reminded Kevin, looking back at the room. Kevin nodded, obviously not doing what he is being told. "Please keep him safe."
"Will do."
Not.
"I'm ready," Mitch called out forty minutes later, his makeup done and hair straightened. He kissed Scott sweetly, hugging him as hard as he could. "I love you, Giant."
"I love you, Tiny," Scott murmured, kissing Mitch's temple once more before smiling at Kevin. "Keep him safe, please?"
"Of course!"
Mitch is going to die once and for all.
~~~
Kevin drove quietly, striking fear in Mitch for some reason. Mitch cleared his throat, looking over at the driver fearfully.
Why am I scared?
"Kevin, are you-"
"Shut up."
Mitch did as he was told, raising a perfectly plucked eyebrow when Kevin pulled up to his house. Mitch looked at his watch, looking back at Kevin worriedly.
"Kevin, it's 11:15. I ne-"
"SHUT UP!"
Kevin pulled the bow to his cello out of his jacket, striking fear in Mitch instantly. Mitch gasped, getting out of the car only to be manhandled by Kevin. He was about to scream, but Kevin's hand clasped on his mouth, tears rolling down his cheeks when Kevin lead him to the house.
Kevin IS going to kill me!
"Scott will finally know how I feel. Say goodbye, Mitch. You're going to die."
Scott, save me!
Mitch wanted nothing more than to be with the love of his life forever.
